The location is great and the bed very very comfortable
The only staff members that smiled at you were the room maids and the receptionist on checking in. Other than that the staff looked really miserable. The bathroom was very small and if you had a coffee machine in your room it was not automatically replenished, you have to call housekeeping every time...
Location is very good. Next to grand central and within walking distance to broadway.
Old fittings - eg old style shower, dated cabinets, slow lift
For a long stay with a family of 4 the room size was great.
The location next to GC is superb.
The room service food (salmon) was brought in a plastic box with plastic utensils, all in a paper bag. Awful presentation and a huge waste of un-recyclable materials. People were talking loudly in the hallway at 5AM both days. It's really a huge hulking ugly black and gray interior with no aesthetic niceness at all. Quite ugly and plain for a Hyatt.
The most amazing location!! Friendly staff (especially housekeeping), everywhere is clean and well kept, modern decor, soft beds.
If room is near the elevator, the “ding” noise can be slightly annoying.
