The room smelled of old smoke. I kept the window open even thought it was a little cold and noisy. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The elevator was out of service hence long waits. I was very disappointed in the room as well. There was no pen or pad to use and the surfaces in the room were dusty. Pros (+) Nespresso coffee, slippers, cookies on the night stand were all nice touches that made my stay more comfortable.
Cons (-) Just a tip, the block this hotel is on is constantly congested with traffic at Lex and 47th. If you're in a big hurry, book your Uber or get a cab on Lex or 3rd.
