The location and the suites were amazing! It was an incredible value!
Better technology perhaps. Better views.
excellent location, 2 bathrooms
better elevators, no hot water one morning, poorly laid out room- door to bedroom in middle of room - hard to navigate
Good for our purposes
As a family of four traveling with an infant, we appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms. A crib was provided as requested prior to our arrival. Two bathrooms and the kitchenette were useful. The location is central to subways, shopping, and the park. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
The room we stayed in, #1716 was showing obvious wear. The nightstand, and living room tables were dinged and worn on top. The couch was stained. Also minor stains on the carpet. We stayed here frequently in the late 1990's and early 2000's and this room has not been renovated.
There were stains on the bed linen and dust cover, mattress was not the most comfortable.
Renovated suite with comfortable bed, 2 TV's, clean and very quiet. Perfect location, too
Lobby does not reflect the quality
There was no bathtub in the room.
You feel as if you are in an old persons damp studio apartment paid for with government funding. The staff and location were great.
Everything about the Manhattan Club was amazing from the staff to the room. We will stay again.
Great place to stay!!
The best thing was location. Close to inexpensive places to eat like Bread and Honey, Szechwan Gourmet. Central Park and the subway were very close too. Great staff too.
The elevators were slow at times and at busy checkout times would even bypass you if there was a lot of weight in the elevator. It passed us 6 consecutive times one morning. We ended up taking the freight elevator.
friendly staff clean excellent location
lower floor suites are extremely noisy
I liked the location. We have stayed in many hotels in Manhattan. For the price we did well.
The pictures are very deceiving. We got the Junior suite. Not that big at all. We were near the noisy elevators. The pictures show beautiful flowers, huge room, everything is clean and bright. It's not. The staff at the door and valet were very nice. All in all, it was a good stay. Just make the pictures real.
Location is excellent and very convenient for subway to downtown.
Despite the claim that the Hotel offers Wi-Fi they really don't. Available bandwidth wasn't even high enough for email. Be sure to bring an Ethernet cable!
Good location, polite staf, spacious room for NY standards and good service.
Slow elevators and the breakfast is a bit basic.
Room was very comfortable and spacious.
Elevators were very slow.
The room was clean, the location was convenient, and it was fine for business, but if I had tried to include my family, having just a pull out for a second bed would have been difficult. Also the bedroom area was small and not completely separated from the living area with a door, so privacy would have been an issue if I had the wife and kids with me.
For a New York hotel it is a very reasonable price with alot of space. It is a convenient place to stay if you plan to stay longer than a day or two, because it has a small kitchenette and lounging space. I was happy.
It was not really a hotel, but rather a time share. It would have been nice to know this when I booked.
