Overview

Located on what is known as Mariner’s Mile in Newport Beach is the Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach. The hotel is in the perfect spot so that guests can go for a walk to and on the beach. There is great shopping, tons of great restaurants, and many other attractions in the surrounding area that all kinds of guests will enjoy.

Rooms can be booked with one bed or two. Guests traveling with infants or young toddlers can request a crib if it’s needed. There are many in-room amenities to enhance the stay of all guests. They can set their own temperatures with individual climate control. There are bathtubs in the bathrooms and hairdryers are provided. Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach does not have a restaurant on-site, but there is a free breakfast buffet daily. Other meals can be found at restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Rusty Pelican is only five minutes away, as is Billy’s at the Beach. There’s also Joe’s Crab Shack and Hornblower Cruises & Events that are under five minutes from the property.

The hotel property includes an outdoor pool. There is also a hot tub and fitness center on-site. Guests who are working will find a business center that’s open around the clock. Pros (+) Loved the lobby. Loved the front desk staff mostest. Super kind and thoughtful to needs.
Cons (-) Jacuzzi needed some cleaning attention, but then what pool doesn’t. Didn’t love barking dog next door.

Pros (+) Location, seconds away from the beach and easy exsit to freeways. cleanliness, room cleaned daily and well stocked with towels. front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room faced the beach and had a view of the marina. Compliment Breakfest had a decent spread for being free.
Cons (-) Parking was a little tight some nights. Near the 1 FWY can get some traffic noise
