“The location is great, the view from the twin rooms facing the mountains is fabulous, the Japanese food was wonderful and the genuine sulfur onsen was the right temperature. This place is perfect for the price if you get the half board included. My friend and I stayed two nights, and it was very memorable here. The husband and wife work so hard to make you comfortable and their English is just fine. You are up in the mountains above Nikko, so be prepared for it to be very chilly even in May. The bus from Nikko station will drop you off and pick you up right in front of the lodge.”
