Breakfast buffet was not super extensive but was varied everyday and had enough choice to suit our needs. Pastries, juices, breads, cheeses, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, sliced meats including speck, ham, etc. Cappuccino was wonderful! The family run Inn was so friendly and helpful.
Limited English speaking but we never had any issues. Hey, we go to Italy and they speak Italian, German, Spanish. Can't really complain about that! We had to try just a little bit but it was well worth it.
The proprietor was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. The continental breakfast was satisfying.
Great, highly recommended!
I spent 4 nights here and it was a wonderful place to stay. Evo and Egon are friendly gracious hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The views from the guesthouse are beautiful! A good dinner is available at reasonable cost, and the breakfasts are good too.
It may be a little out of the way for anyone without their own vehicle, but the 355 bus from the bus station in Ortisei has its last stop just outside the hotel, if you're willing to be bound to its schedule (approx 8am-6pm), otherwise it's a long hike up a mountain road!
This property has to be the best stay out of my two weeks in the whole of Italy. The whole scenery around the area made it pretty magical. I spent hours at the garden of the property to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. People here were absolutely lovely and caring. Every day I would ask their suggestion for the vegetarian food and they would suggest me some really interesting dishes. I have had beetroot dumplings, Ravioli (spinach and mushroom )vegetable soup and strudels(quite a few times) each dish was excellent in taste. Room was comfortable and had great views too. Location was a 10 mins bus ride from the main square but then there are buses (which are free with the travel card provided by the hotel ) so no worries on that front too. I have had an amazing time here & I just can't wait to go back here again.
Everything was excellent. No complaints at all.
