The rooms were lovely - modern, nicely decorated and very clean. Bed was really comfortable with choice of pillows. Very nice en-suite with twin basins and a good shower. There was also tea and coffee facilities in our rooms. Gerard gave us a warm welcome and spoke very good English - he kindly arranged for a restaurant booking for us at a nice place about 15 mins walk away called D’Veer. The breakfast (15 Euro) was fantastic - eggs cooked to order along with delicious bread, yoghurts, meats, cheeses etc. Gerard encouraged us to take what we didn’t eat away with us for lunch on our journey home which was very thoughtful. Plenty of on site parking and it was quiet. Doggie friendly - my dog was also made welcome and their own dog Snow is gorgeous. Can highly recommend this B&B - Gerard and his wife Iris have created a beautiful place to stay.
One thing to be aware of is the rooms are up a flight of steep stairs with narrow steps. If you have mobility problems/children/lots of luggage this might pose a challenge.

It's a great place. I stayed there for the Tour of Flanders cycle race. It's about 500m from the foot of Koppenberg, and around 10km cycle ride to Paterberg and Oude Kwaremont. Then it's abot 5km to Oudenaarde. So great location. There's also an area to keep your bike (as I arrived there by bike). Rooms are quaint, clean and beautifully presented. Bear in mind that the b&b is in converted farm buildings, so has character. Plus Iris and the other members of staff are very friendly and helpful.
There was nothing to dislike.

Loved everything about this property. It’s located beside the iconic Koppenburg. It’s about 5km from the center of oudenaarde. The room was super comfortable with cosy beds and pillows. You have access to a bar with gorgeous Belgium beer. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts iris and geert were amazing people we really loved their friendliness and chats everyday. Theres excellent parking and bike parking at this location. Thank you so much for the wonderful time we will be back you truly are wonderful people. Top tip try the sauna it looks amazing.
