Pros: Very spacious room and bathroom. Great, varied breakfast. Bathroom was awesome: huge with a great jacuzzi. Great location, very close to some of the city's main attractions. Included private parking with access through hotel, very important in Ouro Preto. Nice common areas. Attentive and helpful staff. Included afternoon tea.

Cons: Although the room was very big, it was sparsely decorated. There could be a sofa or more cabinets. The view from our room was not great: it faced the back of the hotel and its garage.

Cons: Rooms have basic comfort. Very noisy at night. Parking space difficult to reach.

Pros: Breakfast was well above what what we expected. A manager from another hotel came to help resolve a problem. He spoke English.

Cons: Someone from the staff ordered a taxi for us the day before but it never showed up and we nearly missed our bus back to Belo Horizonte

Pros: Well located, clean and all staffs were friendly. I definitely recommend this property.

Cons: It’s a bit noisy - but plug ears can easily address and offset it.

Pros: Breakfast's variety and a caffe opened up to 11pm in the property.

Cons: Loud student's house next to the hotel throwing loud music parties every night. Not the hotel problem though.

Pros: The food was great. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The location is also a great deal. Staff is very polite and kind. The room is also very confy.

Cons: The value for money could be a bit better.

Cons: Toilet was continuous running water. After my complaint it was repaired, but not correct. I demanded a room change, which was organized. I was offered a complimentary drink, that was put on my accoount. Everything fine, except this horrible experience.

Pros: Location, the restaurant, food, property area.

Cons: The room windows and mirrors were not clean. The bathroom had only a bath and it would wet the whole toilet if you used it. The bath had a jacuzzi however the on/off button was just beside it in a non-wather proof case and it seemed to be connected to the mains that was just in the wall at ground level beside the bath. So stupidly dangerous. If you turn the jacuzzi on the whole toilet becomes a swimming pool. The indoor swimming pool ceiling was condensing the water and dripping everywhere where you would put a chair. The indoor swimming pool area didn't look too welcoming ( walls and ceiling ), also the carpet of the elevator that gives access to the rooftop was filthy. The windows are not soundproof, so if you ever consider staying there, account for the noise level. Overall they have work to do there to get 5 stars. I like it but don't recommend it.

Pros: The hotel was spacious with Portuguese original antiques adorned the hotel! Our room was a delight directly facing l Egise de la Rosary . Stunning views ! Walking distance to downtown . The staff was extremely courteous ! We were supposed to stay 2 days but ended up staying 3 days. We could stay one month there if time permitted?

Cons: Nothing! We liked Everything!

Pros: The building is charming and very close to the center. The room was clean and comfortable, the only downside was that ours was at street level and traffic can be noisy in the morning. Breakfast is fantastic and staff very polite and helpful.

Pros: Very nice colonial style building. Beds are good and rooms are historic design. Breakfast is big and good, one of the best in South America I had.

Pros: Great location just outside the historic center, friendly and informative staff, especially at night, free secure parking

Cons: This lovely hotel could be much better with some new furniture, new paint, better pool area and nicer dining room. It’s has all the ingredients to be a really great place instead of just okay

Cons: It was too pricey for what they offer. Room is too small. It needs some clothing hangers. Shower doesn't have enough water at times.

Pros: The Pousada is clean, comfortable, and most importantly is run by a very generous, helpful owner. Not only did he help us maneuver our car in and out of the garage, but when we forgot our tablet in one of the churches ,he called for us, then went to the church and retrieved it for us -even though by then we had left town. The pousada is about a mile from the center, which is a plus because we came to see parts of this beautiful town which we would have not encountered otherwise.

Cons: Nothing, really.

Pros: Beautiful place, very friendly staff, Atilio made our stay very easy. Excellent breakfast. The pousada is a walk away from Tiradentes but it is a very nice walk full of non touristics places that we'll make your stay even more rich and interesting. Laila, the dog, gave us a nice welcome and every morning she came to say hello :)

Pros: Due to a fall before arrival, one of us had problems to walk stairs and they changed our room from 1st floor to ground level. Maybe the room was then not the one we booked but a welcome touch of friendliness considering the circumstances. They also offered us to park in the garage instead of the street.

Cons: Not like is not the correct description but when you book Pousada Geraes, realise that you are at the edge of the historical city and not in the center. Nothing is far to walk, but steeeeeeep streets and the good old cobblestones everywhere.

Pros: Clean.

Pros: The hotel is very beautiful, the room very comfortable and spacious . The shower was nice and hot. Breakfast very good with a good selection of breads and fruit. When I come back will definately stay here.

Cons: The manager could smile a lil more but was nice.
