Cons: SPA is not worth the money “Silent SPA” you’ll be alright with spa included in your stay, massages are awful, had 60minute ajurvedic indian massage for 2 people (costs 70€ per person) massage description is only for marketing, so you will not get what you expect. Very overpriced! Massage rooms are cold. People who do massage are unprofessional, even their hands were cold - not something you want for relaxation.

Pros: Beautifully and carefully restored, marvelous interior, interesting to discover every detail. Room is large and comfortable, especially I liked the big shower. There are also complimentary water and cookies. The stuff was really helpful and chatty:) Breakfast is in the big old dining room with a huge mirror. You can choose one of the hot dishes and ask a waiter to bring you coffee. There is also sparkling wine at breakfast.

Pros: Really friendly welcome, very smooth check in and they carried my suitcase up to my room (there is no elevator). Such an amazing "palace", I cannot wait to visit again. There was a concert in the hall, but as I was high up under the roof I did not hear the music which suited me perfectly. The food in the restaurant was excellent, very original and well presented. The choice of wine by the glass is also varied, though not cheap. The treatment is always friendly and personal. The breakfast is served at the table and offers a big variety, also of local typical dishes such as smoked fish. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed in the room with the sauna, which I also enjoyed very much. The park is inviting for a walk, even in winter. I am sure it is even nicer in summer, but I could not find one fault.

Pros: There is no lift , so we had to carry all our luggages up . The room is small. And room is just a corner so it’s L shape . Tower not clean . Frontdesk nearly made mistake on price . I was very disappointed . Breakfast also too limited. All in all I won’t consider to stay here or put any of my guests here. I really wonder how the rate is so high . Doesn’t look right. One thing I like is there is a balcony very nice and sweet can see the whole street. My friend said location is nice .

Pros: The hotel is fully renovated, looks like a new hotel. Rooms are big, bathroom is big. Everything is clean and nice. You can regulate your own room temperature (handy in winter). Breakfast was decent, location good. Very good value for the price. The only downside is the lack of pool area, but it did not bother us, since we new it is not a spa hotel.

The only way to get water was asking for tap water from the bar which could take a while because there was only one lady working behind the bar and she also had to take care of everything in the whole spa area. Also, less plastic cups or at least plastic recycling bins would be nice to see in the spa area in this day and age. Both small negatives though.

Rooms could be cleaner (curtains in our room was dirty) + we could hear everything that was going on in the room next to ours (drunk girls were singing half of night). So some improvements regarding the soundproofing should be made.

Cons: Weak WiFi connection in the room on the second floor, even though it's good everywhere else. The room itself is quite small, especially the bathroom. The shower only had a curtain, no barrier from the rest of the bathroom, so the floor was always wet. It was also really dark in the bathroom. There was a big dead bug that was clearly smashed on the wall and not cleaned. More dead bugs on the window sill, dirty blinds. Breakfast was just OK.
