I love The Reef bar and the theming of the resort. I didn't like how dirty several items were in my room, that I had to check out pool towels, and that people were allowed to smoke at the pool.

It’s an older motel and caters to young people, so I expected some noise. However, the walls are paper-thin and I initially thought the tub/shower faucet was broken. But the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and did a great job making up the room each day. Quite adequate for the price.

Loved the pool and park area. My puppy had a great time running around in the grass. Clean room. Loved that it was all tile/hardwood as carpet typically feels dirty in other hotels. Great ambience!

Cons (-) The water in the pool was 90 degrees. The blinds were warped and you could see everything in our room from the parking lot. We had to use sheets to cove the blinds.

When we arrived we were unpleasantly surprised- there was that old motel smell, and overall, it was underwhelming and disappointing. Pros (+) Great hottub and pool area with 2 restaurants on the premises, the Reef historic tiki bar and greek place. Laid back nostalgic vibe. Rooms nice enough and large...a bit outdated but more than functional.

Cons (-) Bed could have been more comfortable...a little too soft. Excellent cleaning staff...very clean and well maintained property.
