Nice pool area Breakfast included
Room was not clean enough—strange mud (I hope) covered soap tray in shower, large ring in toilet, sweeping not done in whole room, critters, and hairs and smudge of dirt on one of pillows. Room promised wifi (sucked: intermittent or non-existent) and a terrace. The website photos show nice rooms and terraces with chairs and hammocks. We passed those and were led to a room added on at the back of a garage. I guess our “terrace” was the carport section— no chairs and an unattractive view of a grubby bathroom. Hotel was hosting a big party in the pool area. So use of the pool involved sharing with a band, a crowd, etc. Noise into the night too. Hotels should have to post this event is occurring so guests can make an informed choice.
Good for the price. easy to find.
we found a couple of tiny spiders next to the bed lights.
The location is excellent and the rooms are fair for the price. It's not fancy, but certainly nice, clean and with the included breakfast, it's a great value in the pricey Pedasi.
During our first night, the power went out. I understand that this isn't the fault of the hotel and at first we were impressed with their attempt to help us by moving us to a larger room that had at least some power for our second night. The AC however didn't work making for a VERY uncomfortable night in the hotel. Worse yet, the water went out, and when I told the staff about it, he said he'd be right back to help me out, but never returned. This meant we couldn't even use the bathroom. Having no AC is one thing, but not even being able to use the bathroom is another. I expected them to give the night for free, or at least discount it for that inconvenience, but all we got is a sorry. I do understand that the power outage was out of the hotels control, but I feel I paid for a service I didn't receive.
Location.... it is very well located if you are planning to visit isla iguana. it is 3 minutes away from Arenal beach.
Other visitors were having a party at the pool until very late. This is not ok but i was so tired that did not care. However, i am sure other visitors might find that disturbing.
