Cons: Having stayed at this fabulous hotel on many occasions, it was disappointing to find out on this weeks stay that a cooked breakfast now costs £14 per person extra!
7.9 Good
Pros: Ideal location. Friendly staff.
Cons: It’s had a makeover and has lost it’s cosy country house feel. A lot of wood which makes it noisy, uncomfortable and slightly cold. Many chairs have no cushions or even backs. It’s become barn like. We stay once or twice a year on business, but I think we’re going elsewhere next time. Partly because the food isn’t as good as previously and their wine is vastly over priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant has some really fantastic dishes, the french dip in particular is worth the visit!
Cons: Radios could have aux cables.
