Once known as the Portland Press Herald built in 1923, the Press Hotel Autograph Collection now occupies the building and sits at the same corner of Exchange and Congress Streets in downtown Portland. This full-service boutique hotel captures both the downtown scene of Portland and the essence of the news building it habits, complete with an amazing guest experience.
Inspiration for each room comes from the writer’s offices of the previous area. All of the hotel’s 110 guest room and suites have a vintage-styled journalist deck and wood floors with a herringbone area as a centerpiece.
