The hotel has been build on the river using an old ship and the scene from the windows are very nice.
I loved being in a real stateroom and watching the ducks, swans, rowers and small commuter boat on the Vlatava. It was also pleasant to go up on the poopdeck to drink Moravian white wine and watch the sunset. Downtown Prague was easily reached by streetcar. Lenka and René at the front desk were good-natured and helpful.
The location and breakfast are good.
The beds were quite uncomfortable although we could put up with them. One of the members of the staff at reception was quite rude and authoritary all the time dealing with us as though we were (her) young kids.
I enjoyed the quiet and peace in the evenings and the ease with which I could get to places in Prague, either on foot or by tram. The staff were polite and helpful. If I'd known there was a swimming pool so close by I would have brought a swimming costume. I enjoyed being on the river.
I didn't think much of the breakfast on offer.
it was fun staying on a boat, and the breakfast was delicious. plus, the tram lines were a short walk from the hotel
unfortunately, we were on the side of the boat that overlooked the shore, so we didnt have a nice view. also, the woman at the front desk kept interrupting our check in to talk to other people and help them numerous times
very easy to find and very good access to the transport system
I liked the idea of staying on a boat and the staff were very helpful and he maids were very prompt in morning cleaning the rooms.
No not really just that the bathroom was small, would not be suitable if you had children but that is all., although they may have other rooms that would be suitable for families.
good peaceful location bar man very pleasant
receptionists not very friendly
location, type of hotel
not 100% clean, small shower
The friendly atmosphere, good service the staff are so helpful. I recommend Botel Racek highly for young & old.
