Pros. Excellent staff and location can’t be beat. Facility was spotless and well maintained. Couldn’t ask for a better run place. Room was small, but efficient and there are larger rooms available at a price. Shared bath was no problem. Spotless and other guests were all very considerate. Extremely quiet for being on the Main Street.

Cons. Personal preference for me is that I would have liked room darkening window coverings and better seals around door so that the bright light could be kept out in the morning. Type of AC kept the room cool, but didn’t remove the humidity. Again, just a personal preference on my part.

Pros. Great little hideaway tucked into the perfect spot right on Commercial Street. Quiet decks with amazing views, clean and cozy rooms and a perfect little breakfast sampler in the morning. Friendly atmosphere and priced just right. We will definitely be going back!

Cons. With only one staff member on duty, he wasn't always easy to find when we had questions/wanted to check out. Bathroom was a little dusty (but kept neat and tidy overall).

Opt for a Room with a Balcony

Several guests recommended booking a room with a balcony overlooking Commercial Street for a picturesque view and a relaxing spot to unwind.

Some guests mentioned that the walls were thin, and noise from adjacent buildings or alleyways could be disruptive, so light sleepers may want to consider this when booking.

Check for Shared Bathroom Details

Some guests were surprised by the shared bathroom setup, with one bathroom shared among multiple guests, so it's advisable to clarify this aspect before booking if private bathroom facilities are preferred.

Consider Offsite Parking

While the property offers offsite parking at discounted rates, guests highlighted that maneuvering large suitcases through the small entrance and up steep steps could be challenging, so it's worth considering this when planning luggage transportation.

Take Advantage of the Central Location

The hotel's central location was praised by many guests for its proximity to restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it convenient for exploring the vibrant culture and beach town atmosphere.

Be Aware of Limited Staff Interaction

Some guests noted minimal staff interaction and the absence of a receptionist, so those who prefer a more traditional hotel experience may want to take this into account when booking.

Note Room Size and Comfort

While many guests appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms, some mentioned that the rooms were small, and the beds were hard, so it's worth considering personal preferences for space and mattress firmness.

Plan for Parking

Guests highlighted that parking was not very close and came at an additional cost, so it's advisable to factor in parking logistics and expenses when planning the trip.
