Pros (+) The close proximity to Manhattan (i.e. the short trip from the Roosevelt subway stop) and the low nightly rate are the most attractive features of the Kamay Lodge. The rooms were not spotless but were surprisingly cleaner than I expected. I still brought my sleeping bag and placed it on top of the bedding.
Cons (-) The neighborhood is super sketchy.
