Overview

See a completely different side of The Big Apple at Queens’ Hotels’ LIC Hotel. With an emphasis on modern comforts, the hotel is all about luxury with convenient access to the sights of Queens and New York City.

Just under four miles from Times Square, LIC Hotel offers its guests traditional lodging in the form of the King, Queen, Double Twin XL, and Journeyman rooms. Standard rooms are designed with hardwood floors that accent the dark and light furnishings. A personal workspace, complimentary WiFi, mini-fridge, in-room safe, plush bedding, and views of Queen invite guests to this cozy hotel. The Journeyman is a smaller room designed for travelers that want the bare essentials.

Just blocks away from Queens Boulevard, LIC Hotel is located near Queensboro Plaza and the Queens Plaza Subway for access into the city. Hotel visitors can also enjoy exploring Queens and stopping at local attractions like Ancient Glacier Rock, Queens West Sports Field, The Noguchi Museum, the Chrysler Building, and Gantry Plaza State Park.

The LIC is less than a mile away from some of Queen’s finest eateries, including John Brown Smokehouse, Anable Basin Sailing Bar & Grill, and Mu Ramen. The LIC Market is right outside the hotel and features a menu for lunch, dinner, Happy Hour, and a weekend brunch. The hotel’s location makes it a prime spot for business travelers that don’t want to stay in Manhattan.

The LIC Hotel is a straightforward establishment that helps travelers see more of New York than just the inner-city staples of Midtown.

Pros (+) Very, very clean... Good Location, close to restaurants, markets, and subway stations. Staff was very pleasant an helpful. Breakfast was good but the same every day, no variety. Good value would highly recommend!
Cons (-) The view of the city from the rooftop is awesome but not enough tables, with a little work could be so much nicer. Beds are very hard and not comfortable. no vending machines.
