The pool area gets sun all day, lots of loungers, towels and very diligently maintained. Staff at pool and bar were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, close to Trastevere and easy to get to all the sights. Breakfast had lots of tasty options, and available till 10:30. Spa bath in room. Check out was till 12.

You could hear people in the room next to you. While you get satellite TV I couldn't find any channels in English, originally English language shows were dubbed into Italian. For example Bones with Stephen Fry as special guest was all in Italian.

Friendly staff and very clean room. Lovely location in Trastevere with a big pool.

Coffee was not the best, and missed more variety in fruit (there was only water melon). Wine was not the best quality. Too many chairs at the poolside. That was not necessairy as there were not so many guests. Also make it clear for guests that they will have to use a bath cap for the pool. That is typical Italian and very old fashioned.

This is a beautiful old Roman hotel, stunning gardens and (rare for Rome) a fabulous good sized pool. The breakfast was ok but limited on hot food, great coffee though. I had a lunch and aperitivo by the pool and both times food was lovely.

It is tired. The rooms are not ‘deluxe’ or ‘superior’, my room very much needed a revamp. The AC worked but very noisy. For the cost, you do not get quality sadly. The pool is lovely but in all the hotel pools I’ve swum in, it was a first to wear a swim cap mandatory! Plus it started raining, and although still very warm in temperature, the pool was suddenly off limits? Why? Swimming in the rain can be fun! The lunch time restaurant waiting staff seemed unable to cope with a full restaurant. The lifeguard at one point served us our ice creams from the bar. For the most, the staff were friendly and spoke good English.
