Pros: Great location beautiful spot
Cons: There was no meal available when we arrived late afternoon. Just a few salads cakes and some fizzy hummus. I'd assumed we would have dinner. Also bathroom a bit grimy in the grouting and paintwork
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Beautiful and serene location in the midst of a forest, lovely interior design, comfortable and spacious room with a luxurious feeling, kind and attentive staff. They also served free hot drink and cake throughout the day with even a free light supper included.
Cons: Our only complaint was that some of the equipment in the fitness room didn't work and that the breakfast wasn't in such a high standard
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and scenery. Breakfast very good indeed. Staff very helpful. Nice complementary buffet from 18:00 to 21:00 in the sitting room and an additional table with coffee, tea and cake 24/7.
Cons: It would be nice, during the winter days, if the fireplace in the lobby was lit, at least in the evenings (it was very cold), or at least, a good air-conditioning system to warm up the place, specially the breakfast room. The premises were really too cold.

Everything in our stay actually exceeded our expectations - the place itself which was beautifully renovated but kept the historic atmosphere, cosy rooms with modern facilities and garden where you can pick yourself fruit and make a fresh juice right away. But the best was our wonderful host, Tamar, told us about the place and its history and cooked us not less than the brilliant breakfast.

Pros: The rooms at the Safed Inn are pretty basic but what makes this place shine are the owners. Rikki and Dov are extremely personable and helpful. They do everything they can to provide you with what you need, whether it’s something at the inn or information regarding your travel plans. (Ask Rikki for her story about spending her teen years in a kibbutz). The continental breakfast is ample and well worth the money. Definitely try their homemade jams. If you have a rental car, this hostel is a great place to stay to avoid the narrow streets and scarce parking in the city.

Pros: Rooms were clean with great heating, for rainy cold days. The breakfast was very good, with home made jams and granola and eggs. The real gem of the place is the owners, who are friendly and really helpful with ideas for touring the area around Safed. They spent a lot of time talking to us and giving ideas and advice on what to do and see in the area and were very engaging - couldn't have been nicer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Normally we don't go back to same accomodations where we have been before bus this one was so special that we had to go back after 11 years. Riki and Dubi had maintained the place very well. We stayed in a nice room in the building on the first floor. When we arrived they already heated up the room for us, lovely! There were also these little luxury items in the room which makes the stay extra comfortable like: enough power points, even with USB plugs. There was shoe polish, insect repellent, bottles of water in the fridge and stuff to make tea and coffee. When we went in the hottub in the garden they made us glühwine. Riki let us tast her homemade liqueur. The breakfast was good as well and I can't think of anything what was less comfortable. This is a very special place! We loved it, you have to find out yourselves.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of what they could improve.
