Pros: Breakfast was great as it changed everyday. You get coffee/tea, juice, carbs and fruit. We were never hungry. Alejandro went out of his way to help us book trips/reserve a meal for us at an exclusive restaurant and also gave us tips on where to eat out. The transparent kayak company are literally next door so that was super handy to get to. The owner's dogs were also super friendly and gave you a lovely welcome every time you came home. Maui however is very young and unfortunately ate my trousers that were hanging on the washing line so I would take care in hanging your clothes! I was compensated by the owners however which was very much appreciated. They also went out of their way to make our 4 year anniversary special with a lovely breakfast. It made our day extra special!

Cons: The location is a bus ride away from the downtown area (e.g beaches, supermarkets etc) but it's cheap to get around and it doesn't take long. We managed to bus ride around the whole island in about 2 hours!

Cons: The Breakfast was not good at all, you get one portion, one day it was a dry sandwich the other day a Sausage, both didn’t taste at all. Furthermore two dogs are constantly walking around in the open kitchen, the hosts are also touching the dogs while preparing the food. Wifi is Not available in the garden houses where we slept, it’s only working in the Kitchen. The host was friendly and gave us advices for beach and restaurant, but when going there, these adviced places weren’t good at all. Would never suggest these spots. If you want to go somewhere from Nagano house you always need bus or taxi, it’s not located close to any restaurant etc. There is no real door between bathroom and bedroom, the lockers on the garden house doors are not very strong / safe. We only stayed two nights and we were disappointed, the good reviews, especially about breakfast, we cannot understand.

Pros: It’s beautiful house with garden and you can use everything in the house! Kitchen, free water, we could even barrow the scooter to go to the ATM. The room is spacious, everything is clean. And two very nice dogs! The staff makes you feel at home and welcome.

Pros: The only place I've been where you feel at home. It's basically your house, with two great dogs included.

Cons: The breakfast wasn't really good . You had no choice and they didn't als of you are vegetaris. So die can be better.Maybey they can have more place to sit in the garden of hang some hammockd in the garden.

Cons: Check in process was absolutely horrible. Our room was ready but they wanted a bell hop to walk us to our room for customer service but turned out backfiring on them because the bell hop was busy assisting other customers and it took around 45min-1 hour to go up to our room. They also lied about wifi, as there was no wifi on any floor. The last day there was no electricity or water... also not hot water. Would not recommend staying here at all, not even for location

Pros: Free drinks at the bar, centralized location (one block from the beach area) including the purchases of tours. Very friendly staff! No photos as the location speaks for itself.

Cons: A friend needed the bathroom and we were rudely turned away from using the 2nd floor public bathrooms because they were not a guest at the hotel. There is no phone or mini refrigerators in the rooms.

Cons: The staff wasn’t really there. The kitchen is open so there are cats and bugs. Not many places to seat. Room is a little dirty. The hostel is very far away, 15 minutes walk to edge of the beach, and to the center 40 minutes.

Pros: The room was big and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the AC was always on. The kitchen was big and well equipped. They agreed to keep my luggage while I went to providencia for free.

Cons: It's a bit far from the center and the beaches. The wifi only worked in certain areas.

Cons: Towels and sheets changed every 3 days, our towel had a hole in it. I didn't see this in the policies on booking. No breakfast and the water is terrible compared to every other place we visited. Tasted like salt water. The staff are cold and hardly say a word to you, no "good morning" not even a "goodbye" We asked if they could order a taxi and the girl said "there is no signal" aland told us to go out onto the street 30°+ lol just a joke Our bed was suppose to be queen, it was two single beds put together, very hard and uncomfortable. We ordered tours to the islands and that with them. We were ready to go and they told us that the driver who was supposed to pick us up had his phone turned off lol are you kidding me!! A joke and very informal place, be careful! The water cuts off every now and then :) happy days

Pros: The staff at Villa Sarie Bay are kind and helpful, they made my stay worthwhile. With an outdoor shared kitchen (including cooking tools, pots, pans, etc.), spacious, clean dormitories, and several comfortable common areas for relaxing, Sarie Bay is low-key and friendly. It's also located on several major bus lines and there is a grocery store just a few blocks away. The air conditioning is amazing!

Cons: The location of Sarie Bay may not be for everyone. The 15-minute walk to the malecón (20 mins. to Centro and the airport) is safe and pleasant however, some people may want a place closer to the bars or to walk at night.

Pros: The room was well equipped and the kitchen was lovely. We had air conditioning and a mini fridge.

Cons: There is one lady working there who handled our first day and she was very rude and unbothered about helping us. Everything else was great.

Pros: Was a 15 minutes walk from the main beach and from the airport itself

Cons: The room was super small. We had to open the door and somehow squeeze between the bed and the fridge to exit. It smelled like humid and didn’t look clean. We kept the same budget during all our trip to Colombia so we expected something modest however we stayed in much better rooms for the same value.

Pros: I went alone to San Andrés, but at any moment I was alone, always with friends from diferent countries. The outside kitchen is nice and a good place to meet new people as well. The staffs are friendly and are always there to help you. I highly recommend the hostel!

Pros: The staff here were great. They don't speak english but even without being able to communicate they were so helpful. The property is gorgeous and the location is just a short bus ride away from the centre.

Pros: Fernando and Patricia are very nice they will do everything to make you stay enjoyable and comfortable. Their son even took us to the airport when we left. Beds were very comfortable and the place was clean

Pros: The hosts where super nice! Fernando and Patricia are one of the nicest persons Ive ever met! They helped us a lot, drove us to the city centre some times. And they gave us really valuable information about the island.

Cons: For European Standards it was not quite clean... but it was totally worth it! Also ive heard finding a real clean european standard room on the island is really hard and super expensive!

Cons: It's a weird hotel in the sense that only the lobby it's new but the rest it's old and kinda moldy, its like they don't have things figured out, they told us they had room service but there's no menu on their rooms, and when we called the restaurant they said they don't bring food up to the rooms because of the cockroaches, so we were like wait, you have cockroaches? They ended up sending food but with no tray. There drunk people blasting music with their portable speaker everywhere but the staff doesn't say anything. In conclusion I don't think its with the money we paid.

Cons: I was disappointed with the rooms. The front door was insecure with a simple locking knob and no deadbolt. The windows worthy filthy and the frame on on was coming off. There was pounding all day long from the room above. The breakfast was boring with cut up hot dogs, undercooked eggs and some fruit. I think that the hotel was very old and in need of a face lift.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, lots of variety. Great location on the main beach. Close to airport (could walk there in 15 mins). Good Air-con. Free welcome cocktail. Reception staff attentive, helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned early every day. Great little pool on roof with awesome views with bar. WiFi worked well on all floors.

Cons: There was sometimes an odd smell of stagnant water in the air sometimes, but noticed other hotels in the area had the same issue when walking past. The bathrooms have no ventilation, so if you use hot water for the shower the bathroom will become very humid and stuffy!

Cons: We paid a lot of money to stay and the service was very poor. Pool and bar closes at 6pm. Some of the staff were very rude to us and my family. Bathrooms not working properly. No hot water.

Cons: Staff: lovely I'm sure but only if you speak Spanish as nice of them speak English Room: despite buying earplugs we felt as if we were (trying to) sleeping on the side of a busy and incredibly loud street. Room and bed was big. NO wardrobe or clothes hangers (even youth hostels have this...). Bathroom flooded with each shower. Beside lamps just had a band build (no shade of similar!). Minibar was mit included in the ALL-inclusive offer (bottle of water costs 11000 COP!!!). Walls and doors were so thin that we also heard all noises from there too. Pool: always full of people joining games with the animators. Loungers were sparce and all always "reserved" with towels (we went to the public beach...). Food: afternoon snacks and evening dinner were boring, bland, cheap. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant for dinner (all-inclusive??). Drinks: cheap beans or drinks and awful tasting cocktails were served day and night in cheap paper cups only!!! Reminded me of kids birthday parties. This hotel was a really horrible experience. 570000 COP for a sleepless night, poor food and had drinks.

Pros: Staff was very helpful regarding airport check-in for the flight back, helping my mother a lot.

Pros: Comfy bed, and nice and helpful kitchen staff. Food is really nice somedays, others is just ok.

Cons: There are a lot of families, which makes the place a bit noisy. You can hear everything that is going on the in hotel and in the street, not so great soundproofing.

Shuttles to their beach club were twice per day - could only use taxis At £400/$500 for 3 nights the stay was extremely expensive for such a standard. Friends tell me that the Decameron hotels are the same price but much much better.
