One day we returned at noon to find all the bedroom doors wide open and no staff anywhere. Anyone could have walked in and taken what they wanted. We returned that evening and again no staff so I just took our key from the cubbies as anyone could have. We were woken up by construction around 730 one day, not a huge deal, shrug it off. The second day, at 545am the doorbell rang waking everyone up, again not a huge deal. But then all the lights were turned on and since there are windows in the doors that meant our room was lit up, people were talking and then the construction workers started moving in a bunch of stuff. At six am on a Saturday. Location is great. Parking is secure and off site with only three spots available. Street parking for small cars is possible but the roads are super narrow. We thought we'd found a good deal, but we were wrong. The lack of communication about the construction with the early morning noise and light combined with the fact that anyone can walk into your room at any time makes this hotel a miss.
Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We got a free upgrade from a room without a window to a room with one, and a lot bigger also. The hosts where friendly and gave a lot of explanation about the city and things to do in it. Rooms where cleaned every day. Not far from the city centre.
There was something with the lock on the door and the key, very hard to open/close it, bit minor issue of course.
Great location, rooms were very comfortable (ours was at the street side so a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us too much). Had the best shower in all of Mexico! Staff was very friendly.
Would be nice if they would offer breakfast as well.
The shower was perfect, warm water and a good pressure and easy to regulate the temperature.
The room was a bit small and cold.
Everything! The room was awesome with it's elevated bed. Very clean, very good service and Rodrigo was very attentive and helpful. 10 out of 10
