Very close to the beach
The pictures from the property’s website look nothing like the actual hotel. The rooms were very dated, stains on the bedding, curtains, and walls, the lamp shades were all stained and some were broken. There is no privacy on the balconies/patios. This hotel is something you would expect for a two-star hotel. You definitely do not get what you pay for. I haven’t seen one room or area of this hotel that actually looks like the photos on the internet. For the price, go stay somewhere else.
Beds were comfortable.
Contacted a month in advance via bookings.com to revise my booking to add another day, heard nothing. On the day, my request could not be accommodated for the same room. This is understandable but the constant add on charges was frustrating. Parking isn't included. The hotel's price of $36/day has driven customers to fill up the streets instead of their parking lots, which are barren. Breakfast needs a separate package bought and isn't included. Ceilings are thin, heard everyone who walked by. Woke up to a garbage truck beeping at 7:30 AM . At the front desk, other guests checking out had issues with their closet rack coming off, the tub being chipped and as a resulted in a small bruise. In the same breath of their apology, the said the renovations were on going to make things better. The hotel needs to cater to existing customers to have any future ones. Never going into a Hyatt hotel ever again. Lastly, location was further from the main State Street or the wharf. It's a 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive.
The rooms and facilities are very old for a 4 star property. They should have had discounted fares because the pool was not available
Maria at acounting made my trip better! Thank you
Great location, friendly staff, nice room!
