Meh. Not worth the money
Location is great. Cool old school elevator
Water in shower cuts out when someone in another room flushes the toilet. Average hotel next to the freeway
Wonderful Little Jewell Box
Very attentive staff, perfect location, quiet comfort and clean property. For such a small property....it had all of the amenities. Very nicely done.
Historic hotels suffer from ambient noise due to old construction. You can hear guests in other rooms. It comes with the charm.
Very nice hotel, great staff, and it's so nice to get breakfast in the morning. Only complaint was we have little kids and so needed a room with two beds and the full beds are a bit small...even though they were very comfortable.
It was an absolutely gorgeous hotel. No two rooms are alike. Classical feel with a few modern embelishments. Heated pool was wonderful and hot tub was great.
The staff could have been more approachable and proactively helpful. I saw a lot of forheads (looking down at computer screens or otherwise "busy" despite no guests at the desk. The hot water situation was less than ideal. Nosy yet what combination you did, it would periodically get scorching hot then cold, then resume a tolerable temperature for a few minutes.
sweet hotel with amazing character
This hotel was so sweet. It had an amazing staff, very accommodating. Awesome character... old elevator! The rooms were clean and comfortable. My husband and I were traveling down the coastline of California so he had stayed in a lot of hotels on our travels, and this one was the best hotel!
We loved our room and Montecito Village, overall!!
The jacuzzi tub was nice as was the fireplace the could be seen from our bedroom and living room!
Just minor things here and there. Nothing worth noting in this review
Most things that I like stayed the same.
Same lobby , drive up entrance- like elavator was not working the enire stay there. I almost brought my parents. Would have been a disaster without elevator. they should have alerted all incoming guests prior to coming in. New room decor was inferior to the original decor. Pool water nice and warm- like. Jacuzzi jets were weak, alomost non-existant. dissapointed that they removed the Sauna. friendly staff- like.
On a boutique-lined street in one of Santa Barbara's most upscale suburbs, Montecito Inn is a Mediterranean-style hotel surrounded by million-dollar estates and the San Ysidro foothills.
