Cons (-) We found five cockroaches in the room in about 30 minutes, including one on the headboard. There was pubic hair in the bathroom. We were on the second floor, but we could see their open, festering dumpster not 50 feet away. It looked like they had not even put fresh sheets on the bed. We were tired. Cons (-) There was no soap! Had to go downstairs and ask for it. The guy on the reception was not nice at all. In the morning, when I went for continental breakfast, mykey wouldn't open the room, when I finally got in, same guy showed up and demanded to tell my room number to make sure I'm staying there. Ummmm.... He only saw me six hours ago to check me in and give me soap 10 min later. Btw, neighborhood ...

Pros (+) So close to Santa Cruz. Also near food which is a plus. Quiet and relaxing and you get the HBO channel! reasonable price also. Provides a mini fridge and that's awesome.
