Pros: It’s a lovely little cottage in a good spot. Dog friendly!
Cons: The cottage was not very clean, cobwebs everywhere in every nook and cranny and behind furniture. Kettle unusable due to fur build up. TV and internet signals very weak. Pros: The location is fantastic, the staff is very nice and from my point of view the beds are very comfortable! Everything was sparkling clean as well.
Cons: We requested a room with a balcony and they said they would get one for us but then on arrival there was none available. Instead, they gave us one with a big window but we don’t know why the noise of the wind was very strong so couldn’t sleep properly. Then in the morning we ordered the breakfast to be brought in the room at 10-10.30 but they came at 8.30 (a bit too early I have to say)

6.3 Good
Pros: Right in the middle of Drogheda town.
Cons: Hotel car park one of the worst I’ve used. Down and outs hanging around the car park. The main car park entrance is closed on a Sunday and had to reverse down a side road that was blocked with cars and had to get people to move!! DON’T PARK YOU CAR!!! Breakfast was sub standard and both my partner and I have been ill. Although handy for the town I won’t be staying again.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were super helpful, friendly and approachable. If one thing was good about the stay, it was their friendly chat.
Cons: Unfortunately, the hotel is a little dated. Though the rooms have obviously been recently renovated, the rest of the hotel felt a little...well..musty. I know the property's history goes back, and it certainly has character, but I have stayed in other properties like Bellinter House and Castleleslie which manages to maintain its charm without feeling so underwhelming.
