Pros: Nice and clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
5.4 Okay
Pros: I liked how close it was to everything. Beds were comfortable. It was nice and quiet. Good parking.
Cons: Upon arrival Saturday our check in clerk was not friendly at all. Poor hospitality service. I had expected more for the cost of the hotel. Most expensive hotel in Slave Lake but for the price - so not worth it. I should have stayed at lakeview hotels. But this visit I was taking my elderly mother and wanted to be closer to shops and I was excited to treat her to the supposed best hotel but was very disappointed. The floors in the entry were not clean and probably not cleaned for several days. The floors in the elevator had dirt piled up in the corners. Water or stains on the night table and desk. We noticed these when we were unpacking our luggage. The ceiling in the bathroom had dirty water droplets after our bath and shower. I guess for almost $200 for the night I was expecting a nice greeting when we arrived with a smile and friendly personality. I expected it to be very clean and well looked after but it wasn’t. I travel to Slave on a regular basis and will continue to book at lakeview even though it’s a bit further from the town Center.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast and location
Cons: No pool for the kids
