Overview

One of the most inconvenient things for people traveling to Milan is getting from the airport to the hotel. That’s why the Holiday Inn Express Milan Malpensa Airport is a great hotel. It is easy to get to the hotel and avoid the frustration of Italian traffic – just get in the shuttle with your luggage. Once you arrive at the hotel, there are a bunch of excellent amenities. Families will enjoy the hotel because it has a pool, however if you are a couple looking to experience the beauty of Milan, it is very easy to walk out the door and get a romantic Italian experience. This hotel is one of the most convenient options for all types of travelers, whether or business, a family excursion, or just leisure.

The rooms at the Holiday Inn Express Milan Malpensa Airport are really well done. They are fashionable like the city itself. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms, along with rooms that have a single king-sized bed or dual queen beds. Because of the proximity to the airport, the rooms are soundproofed. This means you will not wake up every time a plane is taking off and landing – something that is not true for other hotels nearby to airports. With laminate flooring and a large bathroom, these rooms are all spacious yet comfortable at the same time.

The Holiday Inn Express Milan Malpensa Airport is a great hotel for travelers coming to Milan from all around the world to enjoy this great city.

Pros (+) Perfect for needing a night stay to catch a morning flight. Serves a functional purpose. Overall liked and would use again
Cons (-) I did not like that they charge 4.50 each for shuttle service. Our cab driver said don’t let them charge you it’s free. When we checked in they asked if we would like a shuttle service and we said yes and they asked for payment. We complied. We realized in the morning this is a free service and we could have just gotten on without payment. You don’t need or have to pay. Thought it was a sneaky way...

Pros (+) The hotel is 5 minutes from the Malpensa airport. The neighborhood itself is a bit run down and older, but nothing to be worried about. There is an excellent restaurant that is a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
Cons (-) The AC in the room did not work very well.
