Hotel Belvedere

The place is simply wonderful, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, but not only the hotel staff, also all the few ( about 25) inhabitants of the tiny island gave us good tips and were very friendly.The room with a view have actually a breathtaking view...The hotel is run by a family, so there is not any great traditional service, but they are so kind that one can have anything, just to ask...We had a reduction because we had a doubleroom each but used as single, even though there was not any reduction shown in the reservation form. We can only recommend this little charming family hotel.

For us it was not a problem, since we knew and considered it enjoyable, but the hotel is on a very small island where at night in this season all is closed and after 7 pm there is not any chance to leave or reach the island from the main land. The food was good , but the bread very average, it's not the hotel real fault, because in Italy the bread is nearly always like that.Maybe the price is a little expensive if compared with the room equipment, very tidy, but a little basic and one room for two people might be considered a little too small ( we had two rooms for single use and it was perfect).It's difficult to find any real fault for this hotel anyway, it's a quite nice place to stay for a few days.

Staff were friendly. Food was good. Room was clean. View from the balcony and restaurant was splendid.

Not the hotel as such but the last ferry to the island leave mainland at 7:10 pm so this is restrictive. However, if arranged in advance the hotel would organise a (free) launch to bring you back. Also, like all the island hotels/restaurants, although the food is good, it's quite pricey. As the holiday season was almost over there were very few restaurants open at night.
