It is beautiful , stylish decor, right on the sea shore, lush gardens. Excellent staff.. warm and knowledgable. Food is pretty good , not outstanding. Too expensive for what is offered and presented. Concierge services and offers for day trips etc are very good.
The cuisine is good but not outstanding.
The location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. The shuttle into town. They moved us from a very small room to a much nicer lager room.
The loud music by the beach and restaurant - not relaxing at all. The drinks are very expensive. The classic room we originally booked was way too small with one tiny window, and terrible value for money, but they did move us to a larger better room which made up for it.
Clean rooms, perfect location, nice friendly staff.
Bad room service. Fore times I had reminded about our early breakfast at 7 am and they forgot about and breakfast wasn’t be on time. It was very sad because two of my friends had to started their day on empty stomach.
This is truly 5 star hotel in beautiful Taormina. We started our honeymoon there and everyone looked after us from be beginning to the end. Unforgettable experience! We will be coming back
The only thing we didn’t enjoy, but was fixed very quickly was 2 mattresses in a king size bed. Unfortunately this is quite common in Italy. We asked at reception if something can be done and they put additional cushion/mattress on top! Fixed everything!
The hotel was absolutely breathtaking! The gardens were amazing the beach and pool areas were divine. When we arrived we were unhappy with our room size but the reception moved us the next day. From this day on we were in heaven! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were so friendly and professional. The food in restaurant was some of the best food we have experienced. The Sunday Seafood BBQ was the highlight of our trip. Such great quality food and service!
The room in the first instance was extremely disappointing. It couldn't even be considered a single room because of the physicality of the furniture. The room was also over the driveway with a small window. We were devastated as we had booked an expensive 6 day stay. The customer service department moved us the next day without any grumbling and we settled in and everything picked up.
Set on its own exclusive beach, beside one of the most beautiful coastlines in all of Italy, Belmond Villa Sant’ Andrea overlooks the aquamarine sea. Built by an aristocratic family in 1830 among lush, subtropical gardens, this secluded retreat retains all the charm of a private residence. Settle into a sun-dappled seat and relax. Then, when action calls, a cable car whisks you in just three minutes to the centre of Taormina, with its many cultural attractions and sophisticated shopping scene.
