Pros: I loved the view, it was spectacular you couldn't ask for a better view outside your big balcony. Room was very spacious same as bathroom. Breakfast was great! The owner Dominico and his Mother Elena are extremely nice their house is beautiful. We loved everything. We would definitely stay there again. Also when you get from the train station you can take the bus just tell them to drop you off at Villa Gretta which is next to B & B Sara and you only pay €1,10 pp otherwise you can pay a taxi. Same Orange bus takes you to Isla Bella and everywhere else. ( they call the bus Linea Verde which means green line ha ha and they say that the bus is yellow but it look orange to us). Hope this helps .

Pros: Though we debated, in the end it turned out to be the right choice to stay above the heavily touristed city of Taormina. Easy access to parking and we discovered an excellent pizza tavern just outside of the city where we could park without cost late on the night of arrival. Perfect view, excellent hosts - Nicolas gave us a great tip of where to stop on the way down to Syracuse which we wouldn't have found on our own.

Pros: What a pleasant surprise! I booked a room at Villa Sara at the last minute because I wanted something with a view and a balcony, but I really didn’t expect it to be this spectacular! I had the view of both sea and Mt. Etna. You actually don’t even need to walk out onto the balcony to get the view as you can see it all from your bed. The hospitality was also amazing. The room was very clean but a pretty basic & classic. However, I did appreciate the high ceilings.

Cons: Isn't the best place if you want to go back and forth into the city more than once. But Taormina is easily visited in a few hours, including the not to be missed Greek Theater. And we were also able to visit other sites in the area which were in closer access due to the off-the-beaten path location.

It was my birthday and I received a small but delicious cake and prosecco glass for myself and my two friends sharing the room with me. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would recommend this place for special occasions! Spa and Pool area are really nice too! Location is perfect just a few minutes walk away from the main centre.

Cons: This is an old building with very thin walls. I could hear the tv very loudly from the room next to me and loud footsteps/baby crying from room above me. The hotel was very difficult to find using GPS but the hotel website does warn you about that and gives a few helpful tips. There is a pay parking garage nearby since there really aren’t any available parking at the hotel. I’d recommend ear plugs or white noise machine if you aren’t a heavy sleeper.

Cons: We had some issues with the room and the Wi-Fi and when we brought it up with the manager he got very aggressive almost angry, shouted us down, was shocked There wad no customer service no understanding basically made us feel like we were the problem. Pros: Beautiful view, room was specious, clean and the bed very comfortable (king sized). Very peaceful and quiet with a sunrise to die for! Beautiful views from the room and private terrace. Excellent heating and the hotel is close to everything, only a few minutes walk. Very good value!

Pros: The location is very good, close to all important points with a beautyful view. The room is big, clean and the breakfast is served everiday until 11.00. The personnel was very nice and always helpfull.
Cons: Is not very easy accesible with the car. There are public parkings near by but you have to get on stairs with the luggage. If you have a small bag, all is ok.

We enjoyed our stay in the resort, especially the beach bar and sun lounges on the beach. All the staff were down to earth, friendly and helpful. Pros: Just got back from a week's stay at this hotel with my partner. It was our first trip to Sicily (and to Taormina). I booked the Junior Suite room to treat ourselves and it didn't fail to impress with the huge outdoor terrace and sweeping views of Taormina! It's a shame the beds were twins pushed together and although the room was really nice - it didn't quite feel it had the wow factor for the price of the suite. I think you are paying more for the terrace and the view. So maybe check out the other rooms too if they have views! The breakfast was basic but you are so central you can choose to eat there or not eat there. And the cafe and hotel grounds were so pretty, quiet and clean! There is a restaurant onsite that doesn't belong to the hotel but seems to be in the hotel building itself that was really pretty. I didn't eat there as it was a little pricey but the food did look lovely and I saw a few cooking classes going on at one point! The swimming pool terrace was beautiful!!! So much room and lots of loungers with the best views! The pool is small but the pics online make it look smaller than it is. And because I went in October and it was 23 degrees daily, I found I had a lot of the pool / area to myself or no more than 4-5 people a day there which was nice. The location is the best part of this hotel..I had never visited Taormina before and this puts you right in the heart of it! You walk down some steps from the hotel and you are literally on the Main Street with all of the shops, bars and restaurants!! For the airport bus it is about 7 mins walk from the hotel and about 5 mins for the Cable Car down to the beach. Staff were friendly also and helpful. Always someone on the desk to assist you. I would 100% recommend this hotel to other guests.

Pros: Il Piccolo Giardino is centrally located in Taormina, just off of Corso Umberto. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, fluent in both Italian and English. The room was lovely and there is a small elevator to reach the rooms or the rooftop pool. The view from the roof is fantastic. We chose to include breakfast which was a good selection of hot and cold foods. Since we drove to Taormina, we stopped the car on the road behind the hotel, unloaded the luggage, and used the valet service to park and deliver our car as needed.

Cons: I'm only rating it a 9 rather then a 10 just because it was expensive (£1,400 for a suite for the week) - but if you chose a different room, I believe it's more reasonable. Also beware of city tax. They didn't tell me until check out! Was about £27

Pros: We arrived at the hotel 2hrs before the check-in time. We don't mind waiting in the lobby and roam around to check out the hotel facilities coz it's so inviting to check outside. There are tables outside with the perfect view of the ocean and the pool on the side. It is so relaxing. But the receptionist immediately assists us to check-in earlier than expected. We experienced my first statement after we checked in. It is also my friend's birthday, Few days before our arrival, i emailed the hotel and ask if they can prepare something special and a note of 'Happy Birthday' with my friend's name. They said that they will do their best to meet my request. When we reached our room, a fruit basket, a wine and the note of what exactly i requested is waiting for us inside our room. what spectacular is, our room is upgraded with French terrace and Sea view. the hotel is just 10mins walk to Teatro Antico di Taormina. it's also near to the Centro and Porta Messina

Cons: There wasn’t much, if anything, that I didn’t like. However, I was a little disappointed on the last day of my stay, as I wasn’t informed that the hotel will be closing on the last day, and so I had nowhere to leave my luggage. My flight was at 10pm and late checkout was at 12 pm, so I ended up with the luggage outside, and to top it off, it started to rain (not the hotels fault of corse).

Cons: We booked a deluxe room with a view thinking we'd 'splash out' on this part of our trip but were a bit disappointed with the room. The balcony was huge but we had to request a second chair and it didn't offer any privacy - anyone could've accessed it. While the room was a good size the TV was tiny and not worth view from the bed, the bidet was right in the doorway of the bathroom and the shower was positioned too low so you had to bend to get under it. The breakfast offered a wide variety but seemingly low quality.

Cons: I had requested the rooms be side by side, I received an email confirmation that this wouldn’t be a problem and it was confirmed. When we arrived I was told they couldn’t accommodate since the hotel was at capacity. The second room was not nice and our view was of the neighbors trash.
