Cons: Maybe a bit of noise at the beginning of the night because we were on the 1st floor.

Pros: Nice room with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The ceiling was low and slanted (top floor room), which lead to some head bonking. Updated bathroom with a very nice shower

Cons: Very minor points: The curtain on the attic window broke the first time I tried to open it We had a room in the `attic`, so we lost a lot of floor space because of the sloping roof - too easy to bump your head in the bathroom. Tall people be warned! Not enough clothes hangers

Pros: The hotel was so well located with easy access to the national parks. The staff gave us great suggestions for some the most beautiful hikes. Also it was very easy to get to the lovely villages in the area with Romanesque churches. Not to mention, the village of Erill la Vall is so quaint with its own Romanesque church and museum center just a few steps from the hotel. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is well worth it and do not miss the delicious dinners. My favorite was the slow cooked pork shank. It was wonderful, slow cooked for ten hours with wonderful spices. The owner and Xiavi were so hospitable.

Pros: The staff here was great, and it comes with a very good restaurant. We had a balcony which was a lot of fun, great views with young swallows perching around the area.

Pros: The hotel is located in Erill, with very nice views to the church. There is a big parking space nearby, located 1 min walking distance from the hotel. The room was big and well equipped. The personal was very nice and helpful. The breakfast and dinner was also very good. I totally recommend it.

Cons: It is very difficult to find something to complain about. Everything was very good.

Pros: Great location, located in a beautiful small town, close to several hiking trails. The hotel looks new and clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

Cons: We wanted to eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant, but it wasn't open at the time we were told (20:00) so we had to drive to another town (it's really hard to find open restaurants in the evening in small towns in spain)

Cons: The wifi works in the lobby, but not in individual rooms. It would be helpful if they installed wifi routers to reach the guest rooms.

Cons: Our room was located in front of the street where there is lot of traffic and noise. No air conditionning on a hot day , it was too hot even with the window open and the noise of the traffic...

Pros: The woman that owns this Hostal (Teresa) is amazing. I went out for a day hike but when a massive hail storm hit I got completely lost and ended up deep in the park and had to find a Refugio (shelter) before dark. When I didn’t come back to the Hostal that night, she called the Refugios (there are 9 in the park) to make sure I had made it to shelter safely. Just awesome.

Pros: The service at the restaurant was wonderful - our waitress was very patient and helpful

Pros: Very confortable new rooms and bed, very nice new bathroom (only shower gel, no other toiletries) Nice lounge by the reception area ideal to relax and chill by the fireplace. Ideal location to get to the skiing resort or to explore the National park. The staff was very nice and helpful with all our questions, both at reception and at breakfast area.

Cons: The only thing it wasn’t to the standard with the rest of the hotel was the breakfast. It was very basic with no option of different cereal (only one sugary option), no hot food, no normal tea (only herbal tea, we had to ask every morning for normal tea and a very nice attentive lady was bringing it for us) Also on the weekend a big group of college teenagers appear and peaceful time ended. If noise bothers you, ask when booking if there will be a big group over the weekend.

Pros: Excellent location, free parking very close to The hotel, good restaurants and a supermarket around the place, breakfast was good, staff very gentle. Good wifi

Pros: In a very small village near the Aigüestortes National Park, it was very easy to drive to go on daily walks. The food at the restaurant and breakfast buffet were great!

Cons: It was very hot in our room which made it challenging to sleep and a few of the staff members didn’t have very good customer service skills. My friend and I were left waiting on numerous occasions when staff could clearly see we needed assistance. I probably wouldn’t stay again given the service we experienced

Pros: Amazing location right by the sensational Romanesque church tower and heritage centre. The staff were also very nice- we arrived late (10pm) after a tough day hiking in the National Park and they were very understanding and made sure we still got some dinner! Much appreciated in the circumstances.

Cons: Nothing. Worth noting that the hotel is right in the middle of the village without dedicated parking- but there is a large public car park just down the road.

Pros: Great location to discover the area. Xavi was really warm and looked after us. Comfortable rooms and lovely bathrooms. Nice breakfast and the restaurant was cosy and food delicious!

Pros: The location was ideal for me to see the eight churches of the UNESCO site. One is right next door and the visitor center with a wonderful exhibition is as well. The food was very good. Such beauty all around.

Pros: The buffet breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated us by providing us with some extra specific food we asked about and did not charge us extra. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the views from the hotel were beautiful. Excellent value for the price, I would highly recommend staying here.

Cons: Access to the spa - was not clear that I would have to pay extra. Thought that the extra option was for a particular circuit, but not just an access. Breakfast food quality was not good.

Cons: The hotel is outdated and mainly visited by elderly people who make a lot of noise, turn on the tv with extreme high volume so we could not talk to each other in a normal way, and they closed the window we opened for some fresh air because they found it to cold. The whole hotel is warm and has an unpleasant smell.

Pros: The hotel area is nice, it is surrounded with pools and fountains. There is a room filled with tables for card and other games, which could be nice for families. The breakfast was good.

Cons: The atmosphere in the hotel is of a place for old people. The promised hot springs are not more than 2 Jacuzzi and a pool. Moreover, the SPA was so crowded such that there was no place in either of the pools. To conclude, the hotel doesn't fit couples, can't say anything about families.

Pros: Incredibly beautiful location for a 5 star hotel. Very comfortable and ideal setting. You can literally open all your windows and hear the stream nearby and cowbells in the distance. I know that sounds cheesy but it was really amazing. Also breakfast was rather incredible. Mmmm jamon. My words can't do the location justice. So beautiful.
