Pros: The view and surrounding nature were amazing. Staff made an extra effort during our stay. We appreciated complementary foot massage and yoga classes.
Cons: The mattress was too soft.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved staying at this resort further away from the city centre. The staff were so warm and helpful. When I came, there weren’t too many other guests so it was awesome to have a peaceful time at the infinity pool! The floating tea was a lovely experience. The spa is a bit pricey but view is unforgettable. Try the flower bath!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay and Puri Gangga. The staff were very welcoming and the scenery is gorgeous. Our room was lovely and clean and the bath was to die for.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a beautiful stay at this resort where we really liked the room, the view, the pool, the service and the garden, which looked like a very pretty park - balinese style. Very quiet and lovely, a great place to relax!
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The infinity pool was nice and the gardens surrounding of the resort were beautiful and well maintained.
Cons: We have been very disappointed by this hotel. We have booked 3 accommodations in Ubud and this was by far the worst one. The resort is surrounded by local houses and workshops, the area looks bad and a bit dangerous. 1. The most annoying thing was the crying of a puppy that was very distressing and heartbreaking. Several guests were asking what's wrong with him and we have been informed that it was closed in a small cage and wanted to get out and that was the reason. His crying started early morning waking us from sleep and kept on most of the day. This is a place where one comes to relax and this is by no means the ideal scenario. 2. The shampoo and hand wash in the bathroom had the worst smell, like sulphurous. I don't know if it was something wrong or if this is supposed to be the invigorating scent one would wish to have after getting cleaned. The bottles were also old and dirty. 3. The cork of the bathtub wasn't working so couldn't get a bath. 4. The curtains surrounding the baldachin bed were dirty and disgusting. 5. The towels were ripped, damp and had a strange smell. 6. Not enough sun beds at the pool, being a resort with 20 rooms, it offered only 8 sun beds and had to wait for others to leave in order to enjoy the pool. 7. WiFi was really slow to the point of being useless in the evening when more people were using it. 8. The door from the balcony wasn't closing tight, so mosquitos could enter the room. 9. The prices from the restaurant were double than from the previous resort we stayed at, even if both were in the same 4star category. The food wasn't very good, but decent. It's full of lizards in the restaurant, but this is not their fault. We were accommodated in room 603.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place is amazing! They have daily shuttles right to Ubud. Food in the restaurant is amazing! Pool and view is gorgeous. Staff is awesome. It was great not being in the hustle bustle of Ubud but still being able to access it quickly from the hotel. A bunch of our friends suggested placed directly in town but I am so stoked we chose here instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly magical place in the middle of Bali ! The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relax ! Meanwhile, the hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud, so you can mix the relax with madness in Ubud. Nice, clean and cozy place and setting. The staff is amazing. All the people in Puri Gangga resort made us feel like home. They are very friendly and kind and took care of all our needs. The food is delicious, the pool and the restaurant have amazing views over the jungle. Also the hotel offers huge variety of activities around the resort. We had a wonderful time in Puri Gangga resort and we will be back for sure !

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the views at sunrise, and the pool area for relaxing. Also loved the breakfast options! The French toast breakfast was to die for!
Cons: I did not like the stairs. This is not my first eco resort so I expected stairs, but not that many.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent all round, the pool and amazing views! Will definitely be back!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Clean room every day, Spa bath was fantastic, air con worked great, view was off the hook
Cons: #148 steps to get down to villa, then #148 to get back up to the top. Prices were all in USD, which was confusing The cost to do activities around resort coast an arm and a leg..... WAY TO EXPENSIVE Variety in food was way under average Portions with food was very merger
7.0 Good
Pros: Didnt think that the location was quite far from the city but actually being away from the city is what we need as me and my husband needed to gateaway from anything and just spend sometime together walk and talk and enjoy nature and being in the village.
Cons: We arrived late and maybe the staff havent check if our hot water working or not. We didnt have hot water at the first night. The following morning all works well but not much water preassure. We are not mind at all to find insects as this is a resort in nature and we live in a village ourselves and familiar with many small creatures as part of the biodiversity..but the flies were too many during our stay till the point that we cant dine or have brrakfast at the restaurant..we were just being attack by flies so maybe better for the management to solve this issue.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful location Friendly staff Food prepared and presented with care Good breakfast Massage on the villa balcony was a must-do experience
Cons: With a new owner, the hotel goes trough a necessary revamping ( revamped villa is beautiful). This causes noise and hinderance from the works hereto related. The AC in the room is too small, the internet speed is extremely poor. My suggestion: wait to book until you are sure that you get a revamped villa (we were initially put in an old villa with mold, A/C that didn’t work, balcony doors that could not close,...) and that there is no construction work going on anymore.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, spacious rooms full of light
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything but the pool in front of the forest is amazing, it's a peace of paradise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool were amazing. The quiet atmosphere was perfect.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and views from this place are out of this world. We were blown away at sunrise every morning; we could look out our window and see the sun over Mount Batur. Absolutely amazing.
Cons: This was fine for us, but just good to note for others: you are in the middle of the jungle so things like lizards and bats may end up in your room. The bugs outside also scream at sunset and sunrise and will likely wake you up. If You are a nature lover like us, it will be no problem for you.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spot in the jungle with stunning views, infinity pool, really friendly staff, we rented scooter to get to rice terrace
Cons: As most of bathrooms in Bali are not isolated from the outside... every night we got a spider in a bathroom who was terrifying my partner :) The tube is really nice but there was not enough hot water to fill the tube.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff are amazing, and the pool is lovely although lacking in some deck chairs for the number of rooms. Setting is perfect if you are looking for somewhere very remote with no other people and just the sounds of the jungle.
Cons: It was a little bit too nature for me. I had lizards living in my room, I didn't mind the lizards them selves just the smell and the poop from them. They were directly over the bed, which was covered with a waterproof sheeting to catch the poop. The smell of the room was not nice. There were stains and holes on the sheets and the mosquito net. Its out of the way and the food isn't great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place! Nature, room, pool and food were great. The staff is very attentive and polite. Villas are not close to Ubud center, but it was not a problem because you can use shuttle bus. Thanx to drivers July and Made, I had exciting trips with you and interesting conversation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just amazing view from our villa ( we took the lowest one , yes it’s a bit hard to take stairs each time , so I would not recommend it to elderly people , but for us it worthed it , you literally feel like you live in the jungles) Always clean rooms and great service Looking forward to come back again !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking view, ice cold beer and chocolate on arrival. Fridge continuesly stocked with beer, coke and water. Rooms cleaned daily. Excellent room service.
Cons: Spiders in the bathroom and human sized cockroaches.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great & was very peaceful in the rain forest...gorgeous infinity pool
Cons: There were quite a few steep steps...not recommended for the unfit
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very friendly staff ,lovely setting in the jungle
Cons: It was to far away to buy food, and menu there very limited ,had to ask for towels and water as room not always serviced, not good for older people as have to climb a lot of uneven steps .

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing peaceful lovely natural place.. facing rice terrace & green nature.
Cons: Limited activities for 5-7 years old kids.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful villas in the middle of rice terraces. Nice pool with nice view. Clean room&bathroom, the afternoon coffee&cake was nice
Cons: We booked a room with valley view and apparently the hotel mixed up the reservation. They gave us another villa (with a private small and ice-cold water), but with no view over the ricefiled, just a lotus pound full of frogs. It was fine, but I booked that hotel hust for the view- so for us it wasnt really an upgrade.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Resort have many activities to relax.
Cons: Have many gaps on the wood floor.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities
Cons: Transportation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mega From the restaurant was one of the most kind people we have met. Hope to see you Again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: GREAT
Cons: JAM FOR THE BREAD
7.1 Good
Pros: The view from the one bedroom villa was amazing.
Cons: We stayed in room no. 401. There was constant strange noises in the room in the night. We complained to the staff while checking out, they told us a guest before us also faced the same problem. So they should have closed that room, and given us a different room. Couldnt sleep all night.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The villa exceeded our expectation. The staffs were more than amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, staffs were friendly and helpfull. The villa itself is amazing, wonderfull decoration with antique artworks. Very quite, clean and confortable. Surrounding by rice paddies and fresh air.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The food in the villa was so good we didn't leave the villa to eat outside.
Cons: One of the beds has a spring that has broken and sticks out, still usable but a little bit uncomfortable.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The only thing we liked about this property was the staff
Cons: The property did not have a good vibe at all and we were very uncomfortable. The bed was very old and rusty and there were dead flowers with dust on it everywhere. I think the owner was going for a collectible vibe but it looked and smelled like a house that hasn’t seen the sun in 50 years. Even though we paid a very good amount of money, we only stayed there for one night out of the four because we couldn’t live there with two kids. I requested the owner for some refund but it was declined which I sort of understand due to the booking policy. However I feel there should be some caveat to protect guests if the property does not live up to the money that is being paid for.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, high standard.
Cons: Everything was up to my expectation. Well done!
7.9 Good
Pros: The place is homie and very private. Very old Indonesian style. But a bit far from central of ubud. The best things from here is actually the staff and the service.

Pros: The surrounding area of the villa is what makes my stay very memorable and unique. Compared to the bustling township of Ubud this villa gives us a more authentic taste of the original Ubud village life.
Cons: The internet facility at Villa can be better. Having said that, I am still okay to be disconnected while I was there.

Pros: Staffs working there are so kind and very helpful!
Cons: Shuttle bus service to Ubud center and the other way around was great but wish there were more time options! For example Late coming back to the hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the place is perfect. Rainforest kind of picture going on, welcomed with special warm lemongrass ginger tea. Dont forget the high tea. Resort offers bunch of activities so be sure to spend a day or two at the hotel. Great resort, definitely want to revisit padma resort. The hotel arranged for our taxi to the airport which came with pillows and also packed our breakfast and teas. Much appreciated.
Cons: Everything was perfect but about 2 hours drive from the airport.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: That there where so many activities to do.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are big, tidy and clean. The food at the hotel is absolutely amazing and great quality. Pool is heated which is great. The spa was so good, that i was going each day. They give you ginger tea before, and after massage you go to a relaxation room where you get another type of tea, fruits etc. The view from the massage room is directly to the nature. The hotel has an animal garden and a tree garden- amazing, as well as yoga and bamboo forest
Cons: I found the hotel a bit overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome view from the room, also from the swimming pool. Staff was excellent, always very nice behavior. The experience was overall great. This hotel is until now the BEST we ever visited. We recommend this hotel to everyone who wants the perfect service and maximum relax experience.
Cons: There is nothing to say. The hotel, the staff, the pool, the view, the food, EVERYTHING is simply GREAT.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great though we expected a larger infinity pool.
Cons: We missed motorbike rental for in the hotel - it’s an excellent starting point with free roads but you have to rent in much more busy Ubud and return there. Otherwise, everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool and balinese massage I like most of all
Cons: Pool is very cool and the view is great, but its not comfortable to cross the dining area after swimming in pool

Pros: We have spent only a short time in the resort but wished for more! It is a splendid place, with an out of this world surroundings. The property is really big, but you can always get an electrical buggy to move around between your room, the restaurant, the gym, the spa, the pool and so on. The views are amazing and the gardens are outstanding! The staff is also great, helpful, and accommodating.

Pros: Breakfast is served a la carte with a very plentyfull choise, and it is most deliscius and served with extreme care. The restaurant has the best closeby rainforrest view with mount Agung in the rear. The infinity pools are a must do experience. The princess suite rooms are luxury with large furnished private terrasse with faboulos rainforrest views. All in all we felt like being in a unreal place in the world like paradise.

Pros: Stunning and peaceful grounds with amazing views
Cons: Lacking a bar area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This resort was absolute paradise, everything about it was perfect . With beautiful views from the majority of the resort. Staff were so polite and attentive to every need, the resort was spotless, the food was amazing, my daughter and I enjoyed every minute !
Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast with very beutigul view, very green hotel.

Pros: My daughter is vegan and there were very limited options for this - otherwise the stay was good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort in a beautiful part of the world. The accommodation was comfortable and good value for money. The staff are exceptional. They are attentive, friendly and get it just right. The food was very good in the restaurant. The spa treatment was relaxing and good value for money.
Cons: The resort is feeling a tiny bit tired - our room was very comfortable but could use a little updating. Still very much worth a visit though. The location is not near to anything, so you have to eat at the hotel - or use a taxi from Ubud (the last complimentary return shuttle is before dinner time).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast you have to order in stead of a buffet. More relaxed. The room was spaciest and well furnished. For dinner there is enough choice. Scenery from the restaurant is fantastic.
Cons: In our opinion everything was top

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in went smoothly. Cute welcome drink. Info shared by staff was nice and sufficient. Bedroom was the one expected as per booking. Quite big and clean. Dinner was very good quality and very tasty (might be overpriced...) Breakfast choice was very nice....even tho small "fire" under the dishes.....we found the food a bit cold. The swimming pool is beautiful....if you can reach it !
Cons: THE STAIRS....absolutely not appropriate for people with knees or ankles problems. The access to the swimming pool (and some villas) is terrible. Not the fault of the hotel, as it is built on a hill but your description should inform people about that. It's better too much info than not enough. The cracks on the walls of the bedroom should be either repaired or at least hidden....this is not acceptable for a 5 stars hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: The prices and the taxes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort and view.
Cons: Restaurant was very expensive and very little food.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I like the treatment and welck
7.1 Good
Pros: Very clean and excellent staff. Delicious food at Resturant and breakfast
Cons: Too far from everything. The price is higher than a lot of resorts in Bali
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved every minute, will go back
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nandini Jungle Resort is a magical place for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and find a place where they can relax and let go of all their worries, surrounded by the beauty of nature and being served by a wonderful staff!! The rooms are beautiful, the staff are all wonderful and friendly people. You will enjoy everything in the resort, from the beautiful rooms to the unbelievable river side spa to simply walking around or using the gondola to go down. Everything is such a treat:)
Cons: As it is in a rain forest there can be some insects but honestly we did not face much problems. We had an excellent time in Nandini!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the resort in general but in special the rooms, the spa and the swimming pool. The local dancers presentation is really good and brings community, hotel and tourists together.
Cons: The river was not accessible which was a shame and the bathroom privacy was compromised since some other guests could see us while in the bathroom and toilet. In addition the hotel could provide more transfers to the city centre specially at night (currently there are only 3 possibilities)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place. Monkeys running in the trees just outside your villa. Everything you need will be solved by the outstanding straff! Worth every penny! Swedish owner of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything :D
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way. They are extremely systematic and make sure our agenda flows perfectly. The location is just unbeatable. Although it is a bit far from Ubud (40 Minutes Drive) the location in the middle of the jungle is just something else!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Healthy food in a beautiful, quiet setting. Had my meditation awakening there!
Cons: The morning yoga is a bit crowded and repetitive, I think more yoga options could be added during the day. Targeted food diets could also be offered. Chalets are not as good as the regular rooms.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, food, and the friendly staff
Cons: The new rooms are not villas, they are Wooden bungalows on top of each other. Noisy and cold at night. Internet access is also too poor for a hotel of that category.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was very beautiful and the yoga and meditation were great
Cons: The prices at the restaurant and only 1 small bottle of water each per day
7.9 Good
Pros: Great houses and location. Very calm and peaceful. A lot of nice activities free of charge. Staff well trained and friendly. Very good, healthy food.
Cons: A little bit expensive for what it proposes. They could include more into the price: we had to pay for ginger tea at the pool because we arrived 30 min before the "happy hour". Considering the price, some indulgence would have been appreciated. The activities are good but very repetitive after 2 days. Nature walk can be done once for example. For the trek to Mount Batur, it was good but the guide was ok and not at the hotel's level. We also experienced a lot of humidity in the room. We had the feeling the sheets and the towels were wet all the time. The smell of humidity in the room kept us from sleeping in the first night. They should counter that for the price. Service was really good, but sometimes we had to wait 45 min a bottle of water. They promised laundry within 1 day but it took two days and it was humid when it came back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quality and attention to detail - without doubt highly attentive and excellent staff...
Cons: Generally very impressed...

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Even though when I got in I got sick but the owner was so kind and considerate to me. She made me feel at home and she offered help and answer to any question. I wanted to stay more but there was no availability!
Cons: Homemade food!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our experience in this place exceeded in many ways our expectations. It's not a hotel, it's not a bed and breakfast, it's like staying at a friend's Villa right in the middle of Bali. A very luxurious, comfortable, clean Villa where, as your friend, Mariah, the owner, is waiting for you to talk and prepare breakfast and dinner at home, exceptional food that we could not find anywhere else in Bali. Mariah is an intelligent, acculturated woman who knows about several cultures. She makes this place so special and the provided food is varied, delicious and abundant. In addition to her company and attention, this place is the perfect place for a couple to relax, think, read, write and be inspired. It's exactly like in the pictures, or even better. If you do not carry many suitcases, we recommend you travel with a motor scooter, so from there you will easily reach the Volcano, Tegalalang, Ubud, or explore other small towns around. Although Villa Wastra can organize a shuttle service if you do not want to rent the scooter. It is a place in the jungle to enjoy the peace of the nature, and feel inspired. The only thing we regret was staying there only 4 nights. This will undoubtedly be the place where we will return on our next trip to Bali.
Cons: Nothing at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Mrs. Maria was such a lovely host! She has been very helpful and super humble to greet and helping me with the things I need. The property itself was an absolute mind-blowing! stunning view and such a perfect serenity if you are seeking for it. Definitely recommended!
Cons: Perhaps a shuttle service would be great, since it is located out of the center area.

Pros: First time I came here, but you feel like visiting your friend’s place. Just one night stayed there, from arriving time, and have a dinner together, it was just awesome! Thank you so much Mariah, I also try to come back to Bali and come back to your place. View from the Villa, and quietness, very spacious room, all I liked.
Cons: Remote area, especially with heavy rain, but you will be come into completely another world. If you come from crowded beach or centre of Ubud, it’s really worth! Not any negative point!

Pros: I cannot recommend Villa Wastra highly enough. It was by far the most beautiful accommodation we stayed at anywhere in Indonesia. Set in the jungle on the side of a valley with breath taking views. The hostess Mariah went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help us. She is so knowledgeable about all things Indonesian and Bali and helped us immensely with transport and sightseeing advice. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the evening meals were amazing. The wifi was great as well. It's secluded and super relaxing. When we go back to Bali Villa Wastra will be the only place we will stay. We loved it and want to thank Mariah for letting us enjoy her wonderful Villa.
Cons: It was perfect.

Pros: The Owner of the hotel is really nice and wants to help you with nearly everything. from renting a cab to tell where the best hiking trails are. If you are staying in this small hotel you really feel to be a part of a new family for a few days. It is realy wonderfull.

7.1 Good
Pros: The view from the one bedroom villa was amazing.
Cons: We stayed in room no. 401. There was constant strange noises in the room in the night. We complained to the staff while checking out, they told us a guest before us also faced the same problem. So they should have closed that room, and given us a different room. Couldnt sleep all night.
