A comfortable room, good service, good breakfast, situation beside the river Neckar, and near the historic town and castle.

Generally a pleasant stay in a large, attractive, well priced room, quiet. The location and general ambiance are great. Breakfast very good. Internet was free, and hotel should advertise this because my reservation said it would not be, and this is sometimes a decision whether to stay.
Internet signal should be boosted, not available in all rooms, so some guest have to use it in the lobby.

“The terrace by the water and lobby area are very nice, and the location is *very* good for reaching the old town and the river. The rooms are newly renovated and pretty clean (couple of hairs around, but otherwise clean). Had a nice view in all the rooms we stayed (but I wouldn't want to be on the other side of the building as it faces a Müller and a slightly dodgy street). Minibar with a few normal-priced drinks in the room. Breakfast was good, despite a few reviews to the contrary - nothing warm, and have to collect yourself in little glass containers, but lots of stuff available - got a little boring by the end of the stay, but for less time would be fine. Breakfast area (both inside and outside) very nice - also nice for a drink in evening, but bar shuts quite early. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful, and gave us hot water to make tea, although no kettle in room. Generally it is well renovated and pretty clean.”
