Hotel Giada is a very good, moderate hotel. It has decently sized rooms, a 3/4 bath (toilet, bidet, sink, and a small shower), and an A/C system for the room. Despite its small size, it has an elevator installed which can readily transport your baggage upstairs for you, along with private parking for those who rent cars. The staff are friendly and upbeat, and were exceptionally accommodating to me and my family. It's positioned at a very accessible juncture in Torino, which allows for ready and convenient access throughout the city. The breakfast food is decent Italian fare (you won't get a full continental breakfast, but they have a decent sampling of small breakfast items, like yogurts, salami, cheese, croissants, etc., along with a hot beverage of your choice), and the staff are always available to assist with any requests you have. They were also very sweet towards my daughter, who is still an infant. Overall, had a great time, and would definitely recommend them.
The keys are a little weird. Unlike most modern hotels, you leave the key with the front desk when you head out to your destination, and will have to ask the front desk for it back upon your return. Additionally, they don't appear to have "Do Not Disturb" signs, and the cleaning staff will always turn off the A/C during the day, even if it's insanely hot outside (due to exorbitant electricity costs in Italy, I understand, but still, it was the middle of a heatwave when I visited). I found myself returning to the hotel a few hours before I would ordinarily just to ensure the A/C could be turned on to cool the room before we returned for sleep (if you are traveling with an infant during summer/autumn, this is a must). The WiFi is also a little spotty, but it works most of the time. I wouldn't call these major issues, just points that made me think, "That's weird."
