Pros:

Pick up and drop off was quick and efficient. Car was clean and met our needs.

Cons:

A little pricey but the best deal I could find. Computer would not allow the pick up rep to add a driver.

The car smelled like cigarette smoke when we got in. One of the windshield wipers didn't work properly. We were charged for an extra day because we dropped off the car a little outside business hours (traffic was really bad because of the rain).

Shockingly bad cleanliness. Had to try and clean car myself, but was so dirty that I didn’t want to touch any buttons in the car and th sort on the seats marked my clothing. Tried to return the car to the next Avis/budget branch a few miles down the road, but they had no stock, so had to clean it as best as possible and continue. Never using this brand again.

One week prior to my scheduled pick up time I received a call from the pick up location stating I needed to call the 800 number to cancel my reservation because they would not have a car ready for me. I did not cancel my reservation as I received numerous other emails confirming my vehicle would be ready. I picked up my vehicle and it was equipt with a feature called UVO, a subscription based service, which was not activated. Every 5-10 minutes while driving the radio would turn off as it attempted to connect to the UVO system. After returning the vehicle I started getting charged for numerous fees and add one that were never discussed at the time of checkout. I will never rent from Hertz again.

They had incorrect duplicate order that messed up my entire booking process. They then gave me the wrong car. Charged me for a full tank even though the car was 1/3 full. Had wrong mileage. When I dropped off, they tried to retroactively change my daily rate, increasing by 30%. Absolutely awful experience.

Everything was fairly smooth. I didn’t get a comprehensive explanation of the EV that ended up being my rental, but I figured most things out. Staff was friendly.

vehicle not ready. surly staff. unreasonable waits, and an uncomfortable waiting area. the car they eventually gave us was not checked out and did not work. then they gave us another car that was dirty and not cleaned, let alone disinfected. car was not fueled up, so I did not fill it up upon return but just returned with more gas than they left me, and now they're charging me for a gas fill up. what could have been better? everything.

Cons:

They didn't tell me my rental was no longer available. They tried calling me to tell me an hour before my car was due to be picked up to tell me that it was unavailable but I missed the call and ended up going in person to then be told I can't pick up my car. They could have emailed me or left a text message but they did not bother to go to that extent. Didn't even get some sort of voucher or coupon to compensate my going all the way in person to pick up the car. Very horrible experience overall.

Enterprise said they never received all of my my information just my name and the morning of my appointment I called them to say I was on my way only to find out they didn’t have the car I reserved and was sold out completely.
