They didn’t honor the fee kayak quoted me at, the car wasn’t washed off at all. The gas was not full, the low tire pressure light was on. The guys at Hertz in Philly were awful. The Hertz lady in Boston was the only good thing about the whole experienceReviewed 31 May 2023

Awful. My car was not ready when I arrived to pick it up- and the staff was not communicating their plan to resolve the situation. I finally got a car after sitting in their lobby for almost 3 hours just waiting with very little apologies or contact with the staff. During that time, the staff shared very little information and were just hanging out and laughing, playing on their phones, etc. and making no effort to even explain the situation to all of us waiting. I was unsure if I was even going to get a car at the end of all this. Most people I was waiting with ended up canceling their reservations with Hertz. When the car was finally ready, no one walked through it with me so I ended up being billed for a dent that was there before I even got the car. Very disappointed and I will never rent from Hertz again.Reviewed 20 May 2023

I waited in line but apparently was in the wrong location. The next location, I had to wait nearly an hour to receive service. Kim was friendly, warm, and efficient once I got to the desk, but I likely won't book except through Hertz directly and with my Gold account information next time.Reviewed 16 May 2023

Terrible experience with this Hertz location. Vehicle reeked of smoke, but I was forced to use it because it was the only car available (I reserved weeks before). The attendant was unprofessional and unhelpful.Reviewed 16 May 2023

I book my rental approximately two to three weeks prior to receiving the rental. One day later, on Thursday May 4th, I receive a call stating that there were no vehicles available with the specifications I had requested. The company did not give me any wiggle room to be able to find another rental. I called as soon as I finished work, and the representative did not want to look for an alternative location that had the vehicle that I needed because they did not want to risk having me go through the same issue. On Friday May 5th, I call the location and nobody answered. I went ahead and contacted customer support and the representative told me that there were no locations in my area that had the vehicle I needed available. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me that the manager was going to call me back and to this day I have not received a call back. I did not receive my rental and I have not been refunded my money.Reviewed 9 May 2023

It was a fraud: a waste of time and money for us. We went to the rental location, but it did not exist. We phoned Hertz for assistance to arrange an alternative pick-up location, but no phone assistance was possible. Therefore, no rental car was provided and I have been charged USD 38 for a non existing rental car or service. We had to cancel our trip and went back to the hotel. The address for the car pick up was a parking garage. When I called to ask where I get the car, no one could give me an answer. There was no one from Hertz orKayak who even knew what the address for the pick up was. How can that happen? No signs anywhere at that address got a rent a car,Reviewed 24 Mar. 2023
