Vienna Hotels in Hietzing

Pros: Place is incredibly close to Schonbrunn palace and it has great room, very open and wide. Only negative thing was that the view was not great but otherwise strongly recommend

Pros: Staff excellent and very helpful

Cons: No gym or spa but lovely walks to castle gardens

Pros: exelent Breakfast staff was friendly and well trained; proximity to Gardens and Zoo.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, with comfortable rooms/bed, nice bar area, and great breakfast. Parking available nearby . Easy walking distance to the Schonbrunn Palace.

Cons: The reception staff upon check-in were not at all friendly, very cold. There are restaurants in the neighborhood but not the quality that i expected to be near this hotel. There was construction during our stay and the first morning, they started work at 0700! When i called the front desk they must of addressed it, because it stopped within 10 min and didn't start again until ~8:15...for which i am very appreciative. I think that they should have informed guests when booking their reservation regarding the construction and noise.

Cons: At booking online it advertised a shuttle service from and to the airport that was not available I have to pay for a taxi 72 euros round trip I'm very disappointed

Cons: It was too cold inside the bedroom and, even we turned off the air condition, it kept running.

Pros: The staff was proffesional and friendly, the rooms were large and cool in summer, the hotel was child friendly.

Pros: The location and the public areas are superb. Top quality as you would expect. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The room did not live up to the rest if the hotel. It was clean but generic.

Cons: The breakfast and the parking were too expensive.

Pros: Beautiful Hotel in the grand Vienese Style directly across the park, super clean quiet, good size well appointed rooms. Vienna has a super good and clean transportation net, right near the hotel, one can reach anything very quickly.

Pros: Great hotel, beatiful rooms and excellent breakfast. Location was top. Looking forward to come again. The only downside was our room on the first floor heading towards main road was noisy...

Pros: Hotel Viktoria will always have a special place in my heart.It was the second time I have stayed there and totally loved it.The place is run by a very nice Russian family and is only 3 minutes away from Schonbrunn Palace which you can visit so many times while staying here.The rooms are not too spacious but they are cozy and clean,from the window you can look at the river nearby and there is also a narrow street but not so many cars driving by.You can also find various restaurants and shops in the area,a tasty bakery is just around the corner actually.

Pros: The hotel is situated on the metro line. The room was fine - what you would expect in this price bracket. We had a basement room - it had a big window and was light and airy so don't be put off by the word 'basement'. A kettle is provided. There are cafes, restaurants and shops close by which was great.

Cons: The room smelt a bit of cigarette smoke and we should have complained at the start as on day 2 Madame told us not to smoke in the room! This was the middle basement room and the smell seemed to get stronger - not sure what was going on here. The breakfast could be better - it all needs updating - we used the cafe round the corner after the first day. There were light fittings attached to the headboards in our room so you couldn't sit up in bed! Other rooms may not have this.

Pros: A nice and charming old style hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently surrounded with many restaurants and eateries. Vienna is easily accessible with nearby subway.

Cons: Parking is a problem and you need to shell out E28/day.

Cons: During the check-in the old lady behind the reception desk, which was very polite at this moment, told me that the check-out will be up to 14.00 o'clock because it is in Sunday and that is the last day of the week. I repeated "fourteen" and asked her again if i understand correctly - the check-out on 01.09.2019, Sunday, is up to "fourteen" ( !!! ), because it is in Sunday and that is the last day of the week ? She confirmed and told me again the story - check-out is up to "fourteen". My wife was with me and she heard that too. What was my surprise when i returned the key at 13.00 in Sunday and the same old lady told me that i had exceeded the check-out - it has been up to "ELEVEN " and i must to pay additional 20 EUR. On my explanation that i remember the different oral arrangement, the stone-faced lady told me again that according the hotel's rules check-out is up to 11.00 and i must pay 20.00 EUR. She even said "I told you that the check-out is to ELEVEN" ?! I have had nothing written to prove my words and i leave the hotel with very bad impression. I don't care about that 20 EUR, but the feeling that I've been misled give me very very unpalatable sense. I don't know why the lady do that, but i strongly recommend - Don't use that hotel !!!

Pros: Location was excellent! Location felt like it was a small village even though we were in a suburb of Vienna. Subway stop is 3 minute walk from hotel. Used subway to get around Vienna. 5 minute walk from hotel is entrance to Schonbrunn Palace grounds. Walked the grounds and visited palace, then got on subway just outside of the palace and went to old town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us great advice on shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay in Hotel Viktoria next time in Vienna!!

Pros: Enough space. Close to the subway. Quick service on reception.

Cons: You need to pay for towels. No soap in shower. Shower is automatic and strong. You cannot stop it when you need that. They have cockroaches saying that they come from forest - who knows?!

Pros: The breakfast was great (basically, buffet). Location is a bit distant from the city, but it is surrounded by nature.

Cons: The bed was on the floor, and ladders were too narrow. It was very hot and building did not have air condition. It should have had at least free room lockers.

Pros: Location is not bad, but it wasn't great! There's a 10 minute walk from the nearest station to the hostel. They have laundry service, and a garden.. That was good. It was some how clean, but not perfectly clean!

Cons: I have to drag my luggage up the street and it wasn't easy at all! You have to put warning that your hostel about this. They don't provide any meals after breakfast, they don't have a restaurant, the only option is pizza! The shared kitchen has only microwave, but you can't make a meal for yourself because there're no kitchen utensils! It's misleading to say you have a shared kitchen, without clarifying that it's only have a microwave!

Pros: The room was large and the furniture were good, comfy pillow and blankets, fair for the amount of money I paid.

Cons: Location was not good at all, too much noise outside my room and i could hear everything, my door "key" was a little broken and the shower had so much pressure.
