Pros: Comfortable appartment with everything we needed for a great Gargano-week. Very warm welcome by the friendly, helpful owners. Amazing see-view. Perfect location to explore the beautiful Gargano coast and inland.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything and more. This was heaven. We are traveling Italy for 1 month and this is the best ever. Can’t wait to come back. We felt like family the whole time. No matter what you needed JoAnna made sure it was just what you needed. We made a lot of special friends staying here. New friends from Venice and also from England. So much fun. Everything is so clean and just amazing views of the sea. I would hope everyone coming to Italy would come stay at this beautiful property. You don’t want to miss it. Thank you again for everything JoAnna and the Boss GREAT GREAT GREAT. Thank also Maria for everything including our laundry
Cons: Nothing it was perfect !!!!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Giovanna was so nice. She prepared the breakfast food herself which was delicious. It was such a nice change from all of the morning sweets we had been having prior to coming here. This was so relaxing, streets easy to drive on...wide for Italy. Not crowded and the most beautiful ALL sand beaches. Best part of our month long vacation.
Cons: nothing! Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views of Vieste and the sea. Peace and quiet. Very nice and open owners. You can feel home atmosphere. Comfortable and clean apartment with big tarrace. Well equipped kitchen. Each apartment has a dedicated parking place. Very good organization. It is worth to sail on the motor boat with the owners' son. Thanks that we saw beautiful Gargano coast with many caves and small beaches which are not available from the land side. We spent there nice holidays.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Residence Maresol is nothing short of enchanting! A slice of heaven in Vieste. The views are stunning, our apartment was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities- beautiful, elegant terrace, spa area and landscaping add to the wonderful ambiance. We hope to come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were charming and super welcoming. Beautiful property. Plan to return soon
Cons: More specific information about local tours and activities and help with booking would be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maresol is a great property with beautiful gardens, a tranquil location and amazing sea views. It is the perfect base to explore Vieste and beyond
7.5 Good
Pros: Getting a map of the town with information at time of checkin.
Cons: The extremely soft bed. The taste of the tap water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not applicable, didn't have breakfast, Welcoming hosts, comfortable accommodation. Lovely outside space. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Super location. Nothing to fault. Would return if in the area.
Cons: Nothing at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Residence is beautiful, quiet, in the nature. The appartment was clean, and very beautifully decorated. There is a jaccuzi, but we didn’t use it, prefering going to the beach. They have an agreement with Lido Pelikano, and you only pay 10€ to park your car there, and enjoy deckchairs and parasol. There’s even a restaurant! They offer a boat tour (30€/pers) that is very nice, to discover the south coast of Vieste, with it caves and secluted beaches.
Cons: I thought we hadn’t the breakfast included at first, but on the first morning, the owner took us to the breakfast room and showed us the food, offering to eat on the patio. So we understood that it eventually was included. And she didn’t even warned us, it was totally dishonest of her. Because we continued to have breakfast during the rest of the stay! It doesn’t take that much energy to remind people that the breakfast isn’t included, and it’s not afterwards that you do it either ! As an improvement, they could write and display a note about the hours and the price of the breakfast in every room!

Pros: A comfortable and very clean hotel in a great position just across the road from a superb beach. The swimming pool was a good size with plenty of sun loungers. There are many restaurants on the beachfront and the old town is very interesting and only a twenty minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: There is no bar, but there are many restaurants and bars only minutes away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The location and the breakfast was excellent! Also the view from the bedroom was amazing.
Cons: The bathroom hair dryer and air conditioning in the bedroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location by the beach, nice pool, free bikes and an amazing breakfast- one of the best we’ve had in Italy. We loved our stay!

We had a sea view room with balcony & it was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff with our towels changed everyday . The pool is amazing with a lovely sandy beach across the main road from the hotel just a short walk . Lots of restaurants near by.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. It is possible to make your own freshly squeesed juice there. The staff were very attentive. We asked for gluten-free breakfast the first morning and they did not forget to bring a small basket full of gluten-free food and a plate with freshly baked cake and biscuits for the rest of our stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned every day, towels and bed linen changed when needed. The beach is really close, just a five-minute walk. The staff maintain the beach clean. It was nice to have the same beach umbrellas and sun-beds during our two-week stay. The shuttle bus (van) can be used to get to the city centre in the evening.
Cons: It would be nice to have more privacy maybe by adding some barriers between the neighbouring patios. Some sounproofing between apartments would also be fine.
7.9 Good
Pros: Quite place, since no swimming pool nor any animation Breakfast is very good
Cons: Extra delay at check-in
7.9 Good
Pros: We stayed in a studio apartment in the annexe of this modern hotel which is about a 30 minute walk from the edge of the old town. The studio was small but had very good air conditioning and a nice outside terrace which provided some where comfortable to sit once the sun went down. The breakfast and hotel beach and restaurant about 500 metres away were excellent.
Cons: We had no internet for much of each day and had to go up to the hotel foyer to use it but that also failed at times. We were taken aback that the hotel shuttle bus only took guests into the town at night. During the day it took guests only to the nearby beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good place, a free Parking, a free Biciclettes, a very nice Garden and a superbe Breakfast
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel well located in the center of the city.
Cons: Hotel really without character. You get what you see. Furthermore, breakfast is rather poor and service to provide you coffee at the table or and to fill the breakfast buffet
6.3 Good
Pros: We liked the most the staff working there - very pleasant and helpful. Then free shuttle which take you from hotel to Vieste in the evening ( they also offer shuttle to the beach but we did not use as it was not that far). And Breakfast buffet is really worth mentioning- such a variety of sweet and savoury dishes.
Cons: Our room was not appealing at all. There was not a separate bathroom and the sink was in the back of the room. The shower cubicle was so small that both of us have a problem to close the door, what’s worst the water was coming out from the shower anyway as the door was not sealed properly. The bed was ok but there were no side tables so we did not have space to put our stuff. Luckily we did stay only one night, but I would not consider this hotel in the future.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy walk to the beach with use of a private beach club. Shuttle available for evening visits of Vieste, which is a beautiful little town with great market. Very nice room, well equipped with quiet air-conditioning. Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was perfect. The room was clean.
Cons: The bed wasn’t comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet and service excellent, reception/bar staff helpful, ample shaded free parking.
Cons: Shame the restaurants (hotel and beach) closed part way through our stay and we did not know this when booking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It had a modern feel. Very comfortable rooms. Shame that the restaurant uses latex gloves. You should change to Nitrile as latex causes to many allergic reactions
Cons: No swimming pool and no evening restaurant. The use of latex gloves is not good

5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff at the front was friendly and quick with check in, how ever there is no bell boy to help with the luggages. Hotel needs renovation. No bathrobes and slippers. Bed and towels are really very simple. It fits the most 4 stars... but not 5.
Cons: starting from the hotel rooms and facilities and then the breakfast. Only friendly and helpful staff saved the day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is large and modern with excellent air conditioning. The breakfast is one of the best for choice and quality we have experienced. Very friendly helpful staff also. Easy access to the beach direct from the hotel.
Cons: Cost of meals! €50 pp per meal is too expensive, particularly if you are going to stay for a week or more. It would have been nice to have had other cheaper options for the guests who are on a B&B package only. Very poor WIFI connection, sometimes does not work...

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, in the middle of olive trees, just outside the nice town of Vieste and the sea side. The one-bed room apartment was clean, spacious, functional, well-furnished and had a brilliant balcony. The host Biaggio was super nice and helpful.
Cons: The lighting of the apartment was not very adequate, and TV set was quite old. The kitchen could have a bit more utensils, and a mop was missing (essential for longer stays).
6.3 Good
Pros: Apartment was quite large and well kept
Cons: The roads leading to the property are in very poor condition very large potholes which could easily cause damage to your car.no English spoken
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful owner. Magic place surrounded by olive trees. Beautiful
Cons: Lack of hand soap. In the kitchen lack of sponge, detergent.we had to make our own bed.
7.9 Good
Pros: Situated in a quiet place in olive garden. The owner was very nice and helpful.
Cons: Heating was not working too good. First night slept in jackets. Just one small toilet roll for a 3 day stay for 4 people. No dishwashing liquid. No soap, nor shampoo. There was a dustpen but no broom. The cuttlery and dishes needed a good washing before using.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was in a great location, in the middle of olive groves and just a short distance from Vieste. The host was very friendly and gave us great maps of the area
Cons: The kitchen was not equipped with detergent, sponge etc. and had a tiny coffee maker which only made 1 tiny cup of coffee (for 2 people). The bathroom had no soap & insufficient toilet paper
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and the owner was onsite and very friendly host
Cons: We had to make our bed when we arrived and there was no dish washing soap or sponges

Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
6.3 Good
Pros: The property was quiet, alway from the chaos of Vieste, and very safe and secure. My room was very clean and I liked that TV was available in multiple languages. Staff was very polite and respectful.
Cons: The internet connection was very poor. The bed was uncomfortably hard. The food was not very good, especially dinner, and the dining room closed early for Italian eating. Very few choices. The beach is too close to an island with birds, too many feathers on the shore. The worst part to me was the fact that in the morning when the cleaning crew arrived my hotel room door would be opened automatically while I was still sleeping in my bed, even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door. One day, I had to rise to close it three times. VERY annoying! This hotel has limited information on area activities, especially in English - it seems to cater to Germans.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: The hotel looks somewhat out of style...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The staff hired to amuse guests and their children ruined the natural beauty of the beach and comfort of the hotel with the super loud playing of the lowest forms of popular music.

C$ 81+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Forte Hotel in Vieste, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and a library.
7.9 Good
Pros: My wife and I stayed at the Forte Hotel in Vieste for a week during a two-week holiday in Puglia, Italy. The hotel is located near the beach, with free umbrella and loungers plus free parking opposite the hotel. There was a supermarket about 100metres from the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful and quickly sorted out a few minor problems for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and reasonably fast, although it dropped out for a day after a severe thunderstorm. The hotel has a very nice outdoor swimming pool, although it was a tad too cold for us. The breakfasts had a reasonably good selection and the service was friendly and helpful. However, we never could understand the seating arrangements. Although it was available, we did not eat there for dinner.
Cons: The décor in our room was a tad old-fashioned and the room lacked some of the things we had expected from a 4-star hotel, notably a kettle with coffee/tea making kit and robes for the swimming pool. Regrettably, there were no English-speaking channels on the TV.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and great pool area
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the proximity to Vieste - a short walk. Private beach with excellent facilities. Safe in room at no charge. Overall friendliness of staff and cleanliness. Half board arrangement fine
Cons: no tea making facilities in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My family and I will come back to this hotel 100%. This review is detailed but worth the read. Firstly, we ended up having extra guests coming so had to booked another room in Hotel Forte2 through booking.com. When we got to the hotel we explained to the lady on check in Lyla (sorry if I spelt it wrong) that we were checking everyone in then staying next door. She told us not too as she had empty rooms here and would transfer the reservation over. Lots was happening in the background with kids and chatter but Lyla had no problems and breezed the booking part. When we got to our room it was the best view with the beach. Rooms were very clean and comfotable. We went on down to thw beach where we were greeted and taken to our sun loungers that were included in hotel price. Another great thing I liked as im 2017 with a different hotel we had to pay extra for sun loungers and it ended up putting the cost of everything up. We were also given Wi-Fi to the beach. Afterwards we went back to the pool. The water was not cold. My boyfriend spoke to the lofe guard for a good hour and he was given us all the best places possible to eat at. We went out and ordered a cab through the hotel. There in under 2 mins. Breakfast time - the view is just amazing. So tranquil to watch the sea in the morning having caffe and quoisants. The morning staff took time to talk to us. My overall experience - AMAZING. Best customer service i have ever experienced. - (just so people understand o never write reviews like this. I barely write reviews in fact)
Cons: No bad comments
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good location. Pool was relaxing and always sun beds available.
Cons: WI fi poor. Noise at 7.30am onwards from scraping chairs in restaurant if you are on floor 3.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Balcony and view of the beach
Cons: Little food for vegetarians; more expensive to buy ala carte than to order 3 course meat meal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Simple accommodation but with a great swimming pool area, accommodating staff and perfect location
Cons: Nothing really in particular
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: When we arrived we noticed that the balcony door would not lock. We also noticed that the air conditioner was not working properly as the fan was blowing too low and the room was warm. We spoke with reception desk and they did send service folks up; however they could not fix the door and they said the air conditioner was okay. We were fluffed off even though we spoke Italian. The beach chairs were pre-assigned . We noticed tons of chairs near the front near the sea where empty for majority of our stay.. When I asked to be moved they would not. I stood standing for 7 hours a day near the front near the sea as they would not allow me to sit anywhere else. I even mentioned that I felt ill sitting in the chairs they assigned us as it was too hot. They do not care about tourist outside of Italy.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Hotel was very clean as I understand it was the opening weekend.
Cons: They tried to make our family of four share a room on night one, move into two rooms for night two (not near each other or interconnecting as requested, so my wife and I would have had to take one child and my wife the other), and then to move again for the final night. Despite pre-booking one, they didn’t have a travel cot, and then found one missing a base, and didn’t seem to understand/care that it didn’t work without the base.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool, good value for money
Cons: 20 min walk to reach historic center
6.0 Good
Pros: We visited some familiy members, spent a lot of time on the beach, did some sight seeing by car, visited some small villages in the neighbourhood like Pescisci, walking through Vieste, bought some souvenirs...
Cons: no possibility to eat outside, breakfast closed at 09:30
4.4 Okay
Cons: There was no fealing to the hotel
6.4 Good
Pros: My stay was very nice
Cons: The room was a little small and the restaurant was not always open

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and great facility
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous. It was a pleasure to stay at that hotel. One of the best I’ve ever been in Italy. Great workers. Close to the beach. Many people here were angry with the big parking near the beaches, but I don’t think it’s a big deal to shake your dust off before the sea. Good breakfast. A little bit far from the center, but it’s much better to have a walk after a dinner or lunch. I strongly recommend this hotel!
Cons: Sometimes WiFi is working badly

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff pleasant , great position
Cons: Was good
5.4 Okay
Cons: - no slippers provided - no way of having the AC running whilst not in the room - sheets weren't changed at all in 5 days - weird fridge which was emanating a lot of heat whilst cooling - english language used by the hotel staff was at a bare minimum - sunbeds are provided at a price but no seat number is allocated so you might end up somewhere far from the sea..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect for a family. It was very clean. Close to pizzumono beach. Nice bathroom and could see the sea from the balcony in the distance. The staff were friendly. We got parking outside the main entrance and could see our vehicle from our balcony. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Personal preference but the bed was quite hard. Couldn't adjust the air conditioning, it was either on or off, which meant waking up too cold in the night! Thought the coffee at breakfast could have been better. One bottle of water in a fridge does not constitute a mini bar in my opinion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location easy walk to beach, castle, port, Centro historico, restaurants, cafes, shops. Good breakfast, clean fresh, great staff.
Cons: Nil
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location, close to the beach and few minutes walking from the town. Staff is nice and tries to be helpful.
Cons: Air Conditioning not working in the room. We got to change room, but also in the second one there were issues: the water was dripping from the unit and so we stayed several days with wet floors and dripping noises during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice location , nice hotel ( with secure parking ) around 400m. from own beach. ( extra 12 euros / day for 2 but worth it ) Friendly , helpful staff. Very pleasant dining room serving an excellent breakfast selection and tasty evening meals at a very reasonable price We actually stayed for 4 nights after managing to book an extra two by contacting hotel direct after an early departure from previous B&B Not too long walk into Vieste ( after reception gave us short - cut directions. Vieste was best part of our 2 weeks touring around most of Puglia . Excellent evening entertainment every night - 'Vieste in love '.
Cons: Very bad thunderstorms third day - not the hotels fault ! Nothing else.
7.9 Good
Cons: No Wifi on the third floor where we stayed

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location Perfectly positioned for access to the beach and town, both. A short walk. Pool much bigger than it looks in the photos, with a very attentive life guard. Hotel has its own beach club. Amazing views from the beach side terrace, a great place to have aperitivos.
6.3 Good
Cons: The fact that it was mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the pool. Have traveled all over the world and this is a first!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, kindly staff, good variety of fruits, sweets and snacks for a breakfast. I am in love with Vieste!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This property is in a perfect location with access to the beach & old town very close. Very nice breakfast & very friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom old & could do with upgrade
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There was a very large breakfast buffet choice. Hotel location is ideal- a two minute walk to the beach and 10minute walk to the old town centre. The staff were always friendly and helpful. There is a good size pool.
Cons: In high season parking might be difficult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful , they took extra effort to ensure the two children were happy. The location the quality of the facilities and the staff led me to believe I could not find a better hotel in Vieste to suit my families needs we all fell in love with it. Vieste is not a typical location for British holiday makers, so to find this level of service was excellent.
Cons: NOTHING
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked how the hotel is right between the town and beach, with a short walk to both great breakfast location on the roof top balcony
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well located, a few blocks from the centre and close to the beach. Of-season so quiet a our time. Swimming pool already in service but of course still cold (as warned so no complaint).
Cons: surrounding areas were demolished / rubbished, not noticeable from the hotel though.
6.7 Good
Pros: The pool was nice, the WIFI was working for us all time - but we just spent one night. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location is just around the beach but I did not explore the city center of the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: the rooms have very thin walls, you can hear everything what is going on in your neighbor rooms. We were there and this night there was a Karaoke something going on the terrace of the hotel, I did not really mind because I was tired, but it was loud way into the night. The lift, don't know what was going on with the lift. you press a button and you have to wait and wait or you go to several floors before you can exit the floor you want. We did not get a parking in front of the hotel, and our did not fit into the garage which was not available either at the time of arrival, so we needed to find parking somewhere and pay for it. During breakfast we needed to wait a long time for the coffee to arrive and eventually the waiter mixed it all up.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location for going to the beach, to the Umbra forest and the nearby villages (provided that you have a car). The place is situated in a calm area close enough to excellent private and public beaches and far enough from the congested area near to the beaches and Vieste city. The place is excellent for families with small children. The swimming pool is small for swimmers but big enough for most of the people and very appropriate for children.
Cons: The bathrooms are relatively small and all the floor get wet after each bathing, so the owner could provide a sponge mop for easy and quickly dry off. There is no normal iron in the property, if you ask them for iron they will provide you a steam iron for vertical ironing, which in many cases is not convenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were a party of 5, aged 6 to 79 - and we all had a wonderful time at Villa Agrimare. The apartments are small but comfortable and spotlessly clean; the swimming pool is great, and there is a lovely playground, along with many games to keep everyone entertained (pool, table tennis, foosball). We loved the cosy BBQ spots, and really enjoyed the organised activities - particularly the bruschetta night! The outdoor cinema is also great. Marinita is a wonderful host and really took the time to get to know us and to provide targeted recommendations, help us organise day trips etc. We hope to be back soon!
Cons: Families with children should know that the residence has 'quiet time' after lunch, when the swimming pool and playground cannot be used. This wasn't a problem for us but may be for others.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great pool area. Beautiful place in countryside and you can make little intresting trips around Vieste by car. Very helpful hostess. Apartment was guite simply but very cheap too.
Cons: At June it took a while to get used to voice of cicadeae. After couple of days it wasn't a problem. Wi-Fi doesn't work very well and it was only in Clubhouse and pool area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, helpful, friendly staff.
Cons: We liked it all.
5.4 Okay
Cons: We expected from the website it was on the beach
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Maria makes the best cakes for breakfast. Beach entry included in the price. Would book again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location mainly
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing in particular. It looked kind of depressing
Cons: The hotel is rated 4 stars, I would give it 3 stars if I was very generous. The rooms are pretty spartan and dated. The breakfast was less than average, the second morning when we got there ( at 9 am) half of the plates were empty, the croissants were old, the eggs were dry, the ham was gone. They even charged 3 euro for each beach towel/day. Who does that at a hotel near or at the beach? ( I travel a lot, never encountered that) Check out time is from 7-10am....I find it very early. All in all definitely not a 4 stars hotel, would not want to stay there again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff were outstanding in every way. specially made eggs and coffee were made for us. recommendations of where to eat were offered, that exceeded any expectation. i can and would recommend the Palace Hotel in Vieste to anyone willing to make the drive there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great breakfast, great staff.
Cons: Wi-Fi not working and not as close to beach as expected. There is a shuttle service which is helpful but doesn’t pass as frequently as I would have liked. Still a nice stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very vlesn Central
Cons: Restaurant closed in winter Very ordinary breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Spot on the beach included in the rate. Hotel parking available and convenient. Vieste a great little seaside town full of character.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large green and clean territory, hammocks, barbecue zone, swimming pool, great cuisine and good price in the cafe
Cons: Loud music every evening
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice clean place for Ok price with pool and nice coffee in the morning. It's close to clean beach with great restaurant which has excellent lunch menu.
Cons: Really really really loud disco every evening from 21.30 to midnight. There is no escaping its noise. This is a great pity since it completely spoils your evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool and the tennis court were excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a quiet place, closed to the beach and with a nice view: we got all this and more! The staff is amazing, the guy that was at the check in was helpful, kind and available for any question we had.
Cons: Everything was pretty much perfect.
7.9 Good
Pros: Everything was ok
Cons: Nope
7.1 Good
Pros: Very nice location with sea view. Many beautiful plants, decorative marbels in the garden. The pool is large and clean. Shuttle bus is perfect. Molinella beach is nice, and it's not far away. Garden grill is very cool.
Cons: The kitchen is small and poorly equipped, there is no coffee maker, no hot water, but there is ants. The music at the pool is very loud, sometimes we couldn't hear each other at the pool and almost every night is a party or karaoke.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good and quiet location. The territory is maintained regulary. Spacious rooms. Very good pool, which is cleaned every morning. Spaciuos and clean pool area. Very helpfull staff, especially barista Santa (best wishies and thak you very much), who was wery helpfull and made our stay even more pleasant and made us and our children feel like home. Although we do not speak Italian, and she does not speak English, we managed to understand eatch other very well.
Cons: Not very comfortable showers. Lots of mosquitoes.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Not much. The reception staff and the common place was clean and ok. Very cool rooftop bar. Nothing very fancy but the grappa was perfect and the bartender very polite.
Cons: Value for money ratio - very poor. The room was rather expensive comparing to hotels almost everywhere in Europe and.... smelly bathroom, no towels on the pool, the pool rather old with a few sun beds. Generally you expect much more with a 4* place for a relaxation by the pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and facilities
Cons: The room had a few of minor issues such as the blindings broken.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice place surrounded by nature but not too far from the center of Vieste or the Foresta Umbra (few minutes drive). Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.
Cons: Spa is nothing special. Wouldn't recommend spending on it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: First stop in our Italy / Puglia voyage, after a busy and early flight, this hotel offered a way for us to relax by the pool, with nice rooms, close proximity to Vieste itself, the possibility to dine in the evening, ... The breakfast was overwhelming regarding the choices presented.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The hotel had everything we wanted and the staff could not have been more helpful. We look forward to returning.
6.7 Good
Pros: The roof terrace. Outside area and balconies.
Cons: The food was very limited and lacked flavour.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Can the receptionist be more unpleasant? Doubtful. But she gave it her all. She certainly made sure that we knew she did not want to be there and that she did not want us there. We booked this hotel specifically because of the fitness centre: the one lone treadmill did not work. The location is VERY isolated - if you do not have your own transport. We booked for three nights and left after just one.
6.3 Good
Pros: - We had an upgrade from a standard room to a superior room - The hosts are very kind and helpful - The bartender and the waiters are very kind - The variety in the restaurant menu for dinner - The big TV we had in the room - The view on the valley from our terrace - The calm surrounding the area - Fair value for money - The very kind masseuse and her massages - The proximity from Vieste, approx 15mn by car
Cons: Few things need to be improved for a good 4* review : - Pillows are extremely not comfortable, even though the manager brought us only one softer pillow, we had to share over the nights - There are lost dogs in the parking area, no one is taking care of it. They should be taken care of, washed and fed - The room was not clean enough for a 4* - The soap reload are not verified. We stayed 4 days without soap - The pool is not cleaned, lots of bugs on the surface - The SPA pool is not warmed, and the towels are not free for an entry we pay 15€ each (first time I ever see this in a SPA)
7.9 Good
Pros: Dinner in the restaurant was good and the breakfast, pool area and staff excellent. Bed very comfy and view from our balcony wad beautiful.
Cons: The carpets must have been recently cleaned and the smell was still lingering. The shower had hot and cold water intermittently and the fridge not great. The lighting in the restaurant could have been a bit dimmer to create ambience ad the room is very large.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Th place is beautiful, in the mountains close to Vieste. We stayed in a suit and it was very comfortable with a spacious bedroom and a very large living room that has another queen bed. The dinning room was very nice overlooking the pool.
Cons: Dinner is served at 9.00pm only. After that time, you only have the bar with drinks and snacks.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom and facilities
Cons: Allow the check out to be later than 10.00
7.9 Good
Pros: Rooms spotless . a good location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel reminded me of 1980s holidays with my parents, in a good way. The hotel has friendly staff, a very good breakfast and nice rooms (our room was a little small but we had a roof terrace that must have been about 300sq metres to compensate. This hotel was excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly/
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The wi if arrangements are disastrous and the connection speeds very bad! To connect it was necessary to input both a username and a password every time!!!!!! Jacuzzi in the bath was complicated and difficult to operate!
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good! Location was good..close to the beach:)
Cons: Wi-fi was extremely poor...Aranci needs to improve on their provider!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean
Cons: Wi-Fi non existent
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast - would have liked to eat outside, but great food and coffee. Lovely pool - not open all day - but very nice. Lovely busy town - fun wandering around at night. Nearby beach nice, many others to explore in the area. Parking an issue - spaces like gold dust. I didn’t find one in hotel car park - did find one on street - 7Euros per day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location for a short stay, good sized room for those travelling with larger than your cabin baggage allowance.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful staff, very accommodating. The location is also great, directly at the beach with an unparalleled view on the Pizzomundo. Rooms are nice and roomy, we had a "living room" area with a couch.
Cons: The mattresses were too soft for my liking. As we came during wintertime, the bar was unfortunately closed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was worth the money, the location was just off the beach which was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful and easy to work with.
Cons: I did not know that the room did not include breakfast or beach access, or that you needed to purchase bath caps to get in the pool. The extra costs were not significant, but it was a surprise.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location close to town and across the street from the beach, view of water
6.7 Good
Pros: Was clean and short walk from seaside
Cons: One girl from staff her name is Lucia was very nice and polite but the other two were terrible, fake smiles and didn’t know how to do their job.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean
Cons: Ensuite was quite small . The shower unit was tiny. Breakfast while good value at 6 euro was somewhat chaotic. When items on offer at the self service ran out replenishment was slow. The coffee machine frequently broke down
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great; it is at short walking distance of the centro storico (5 minutes, but up hill so maybe not best suited for people who have difficulty walking) and right across the beach. Our room had an ocean view and view of Pizzomunno, which was very nice. You can book a boat tour across the street for 24 euro, which we did and was totally worth every penny! Vieste is most beautiful seen from a boat.
Cons: - The parking facilities aren't great; you can park for free across the hotel, but there are limited spots. If it's full (which it definitely is after 15:00), you can park for 7 euro's a day around the hotel. - Unfortunately, the beds weren't comfortable so we didn't sleep so good. The shower could use some maintenance. - We ended our trip in Puglia in this hotel and after sleeping in b&b's the whole trip, we missed the personal touch of the personnel a little bit. On the other hand, this is an hotel and maybe you can't expect that of a hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel 50 meters from the beach and a few minutes walk from the town center. We stayed for 5 days and arrived on May 28th. Apart from a group of soldiers and police, we seemed to be the only guests at the hotel. However, this was no problem. There were a fair amount of tourists in the town, but no way near crowded. On June 1st, the tourist season really kicked of. The sun chairs came out by the pool, other guests arrived at the hotel and the entire town was no longer in off-season mode. All of the personnel were friendly and most helpful. And really made us feel at home. The cleaning from excellent and thorough. We would without a doubt stay at Hotel Scialara again.
Cons: Breakfast costs 6 EUR per person. It is easy just to eat at the hotel, but maybe not worth the 6 EUR.
