    We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who enthusiastically showed us around on our arrival and were very kind to us during our stay. The design of the apartment was very charming and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. We took advantage of the swimming pool to refresh ourselves in the hot weather and we were also very impressed by the other facilities such as the riding school and the lavender farm.

    wonderful welcome from owner who has every right to be proud of the fantastic facilities in this converted ancient house. Our "apartment" room consisted of modern bathroom, comfortable bed and living room with kitchen area. Superb gardens and pool - the photos do not do it justice. Courtyards, terraces and garden areas to sit out and relax. Breakfast "sweet or salty" prepared by the owner. Do not come here if you want hotel style service but it is a fantastic base for exploring the many art treasures of the Lazio region with great facilities for relaxing at the end of the day.

Overview

Dating back to the 15th century, this rustic, countryside retreat is ideally positioned just 2 km away from the Medieval Quarter, the Palazzo Papale, and the Terme dei Papi thermal centre. The building is set amid typical countryside of the Viterbo region, covering 30-hectares of meadows, olive groves, lavender fields and small orchards. For this reason it is an ideal starting point for interesting walks or bike rides. Taking a walk within the grounds of the farm will lead you to a little hill which offers a lovely view of the Palazzo dei Papi, which towers above Porta Faul and centuries-old city walls. As a guest of the Podere Dell'Arco Country Charme, you can enjoy discounts on the thermal services of the Terme dei Papi. In addition to this, the position of the hotel allows you to enjoy excursions to nearby lakes, historical gardens and houses, and castles.
