Multiple issues with our stay, complaining did no good to resolve our issues.
First, the facilities were very big, like tram, swimming pool, they were really great. It was a great experience to see turtle in swimming pool or beach.
I made a reservation and checked in, but I was worried that I was charged a lot because it was checked in differently from the reservation. I was sorry that I could not check exactly how much it was due to credit card, exchange fee, etc.
Relaxing at the beautiful pools..
Bed was uncomfortable n pillows wasn't cutting it.. Toilet was leaking water on to the floor. Didn't think breakfast was worth $40
Expensive but worth it. Had a pool and a little lagoon with ocean water for swimming. The beaches near the resort were pretty rocky so it was nice to have a sheltered lagoon and pool area.
I felt like there were "hidden expenses" such as charging for wi-fi on a daily basis. It was not explained if the wifi was for the room or per device or what, so I had to turn on my cell phone data to use the internet. I ended up exceeding my data plan so still basically paid extra for the internet. Its 2020 Hilton, get your sh*t upgraded. $30 per day parking fee if you have a rental car, and that is in the cheap lot!
Facility is not appropriate for anyone with disabilities such as canes, walkers. Monorail did not work for most of trip and distances to rooms from lobby is great. Need more external access points from main road to various buildings.
