The Washington DC Residence Inn needs to be recognized for their great staff, especially those individuals running the breakfast bar and front desk. Their service and attention to details. From there, the hotel has a number of opportunities to improve. Pros (+) Location, near McPherson Station was perfect. Having the CVS, downstairs was a bonus. Very comfortable, and clean room. Staff was really nice.
Cons (-) The breakfast was a little crazy. Small space and a lot of travelers made for getting breakfast a little chaotic. Since the location is more downtown, the dining choices were limited. Most were lunch places for the business crowd. We had to Uber for more dining options in the Chinatown or Penn Quarter.

Pros (+) comfortable room with lots of space and clean/new kitchen appliances. corteous front desk and valet staff. great breakfast buffet. good location 1/2 mile walk to the convention center.
Cons (-) air conditioner was too loud and the thermostat was inaccurate so the room was too cold unless we shut the AC off completely.
