The owner, lively charming, spoke good English. And the restaurant on site, which was very good indeed. We thouhg that it was expensive, but after a couple of disatrous experiences elsewhere, realised that Switzerland is expensive, and the little place was good value.
To our surpirse, our room was not en suite - there was a sink and a shower in the room, but toilets were at the end of the corridor - as the place was empty the first two nights, it was OK, but not what I expected. I shall check the website again to see if it is quite clear what one is getting. There may have been rooms with toilets; I chose a street view rather than a lake view.... so that may have been it!

The rooms were nice and good shape, design did fit the several hundred years old house style. The dining room was very nice and food in the restaurant delicious. Also the breakfast was perfect for us (do not like to have sausages for breakfast). Location was good for one day ski trips e.g. to Klosters or Laax. Nearest ski slopes were just in five minutes drive up the hill. The personnel was very friendly and really made our stay very nice.

We were very impressed by the building style of this hotel as it has been built 500 years ago. At the same time we could enjoy of all needed comfort and the kind receiving by the hotel owner.
