Overview

Hotel Esencia was originally the private home of an Italian duchess. It is a 50 acre estate located on the beautiful beach of the Mayan Riviera. The hotel is a luxury boutique hotel.

The main house of the Hotel Esencia has 38 suites and three villas which offer guests privacy and hospitality. Guestrooms have a private terrace. There is a penthouse suite, master suite, beach suite, ocean suite, jungle suite and jungle room. All accommodations have large screen, high definition televisions walk-in closets, and an in-room sound system with hook ups for iPads and other digital accessories.

There are many amenities for guests to enjoy. They can receive treatments at the organic spa or relax with a complimentary afternoon tea. There’s a daily fruit basket, complmintary beach bag and free use of water sports gear. The Hotel has a techno gym fitness room and complimentary sunrise yoga as well as instructional classes provided by trainers.

There are three restaurants on site as well as a juice bar, coffee bar, and beach bar. The Beef Bar has a simple menu with the finest high-quality ingredients and selection of exceptional meat cuts. The beachfront restaurant has a creative selection of specialties from the grill and seafood dishes with an open fire grill. The café is close to the beach and the pools, and it serves American cuisine and global food.
