9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved this place. Best value to dollar I’ve had yet! Size, view and open patio all worked for me. Breakfast was a notch above the norm, cooking my eggs to perfection.
Cons: Furniture could use an update
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. Love having view of the river.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, in nice setting by a small river. The room was quite large and breakfast was fresh and varied. The hotel is very pet friendly, during our stay we encountered many cats and dogs, some quite big. If you are allergic, be mindful.
Cons: Location was our biggest let down. Although close to highway access, there wasn't much else around, and we completely depended on the car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Great evening hospitality food and drink. Great hot breakfast. Hey
9.5 Excellent
Pros: First time traveling with a pet. Was concerned that "pet friendly" meant that we were going to have to settle for a worn out room and kept our expectations low. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. Rooms opened to a very plush lawn which was great for pets, and the property is along the banks of the Yakima River with an nice paved walking trail that goes for miles. We enjoyed the first rate continental breakfast with our puppy at the very spacious and clean outdoor seating area. Rooms were noticeably quiet. Couldn't hear neighbors talking or TV, and they were definitely occupied. Traveling with Fido? Oxford Suites is where you want to stay in Yakima.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything! The staff was great! The beds were so comfortable, and the pillows felt like wrapping your arms around a cloud. The breakfast was also awesome! I will stay there again, and I will recommend it to my friends that run across one of your motels in their travels.. thanks again for a great stay
Cons: Nothing all was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great, the parking was easy, the breakfast was delicious and abundant! And surely enough, having your own patio with a river view is a perk :)
Cons: Our room was called "a king suite", which led me to believe that there would be a somewhat separate bedroom and a somewhat separate sofa-bed space. However, both the king bed and the sofa bed were located in one big room, which gave zero privacy to our family of 5. Oh well.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: * Great location *very nice evening cocktail hour *very good breakfast in the am *overall a nice experience3 for the money
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so accommodating and brought me a fan when I asked for one!
Cons: Need more outlets to plug in all electronics.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely located near the I-82 freeway. A clean room, a mini-refrigerator was nice. Breakfast was ok, but I know the same-chain hotel in a different location serves much better breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Air conditioner worked well
Cons: Small TVs and none with HD, not even in the bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great AND it was OK to bring up to the room. It was perfect for breakfast in bed for my wife's birthday!
Cons: Wasn't given WiFi password on check-in. Had to call front desk later

Hotel Maison - Yakima - Building

8.9 Excellent (61 reviews)

Overview Reviews
When you a stay at Hotel Maison in Yakima, you'll be near the airport, just steps from Yakima River Valley and Capitol Theater. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Didnt see any eggs was more like a meat an cheese platter you'd serve for a nighttime social chose yogurt
Cons: Breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was odd - cheese and salami - really? It gave the impression of leftover hors d'oeuvres. Nothing hot except what could be toasted. Have had far better selection at "chain hotels".
Cons: The room was described as a King Suite. There was nothing "suite" about it. It was perhaps a larger room but that was due simply to the limitations of the architecture. Much of the space was unusable. In other travels, suites always have some kind of division between a bedroom area and a sitting room area and always a sofa or extra chairs. The corner location of the room on the street side was very noisy. The phones did not work - they cut off in the middle of the conversation. Mentioned to the desk staff and she didn't pick up on it. The shower situation is terrible - no place for a washcloth and no place to hang a towel close by. Unless you set the water on "jet" it took forever to even get wet. And you had to get wet to turn it on and set the temperature. It started out cold - not the way I want a shower. And the shower head is not adjustable, in the sense of tilting the angle of the water, so you had to stand quite close to the wall. I would not stay again.
6.5 Good
Cons: Old and dreary
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The loading/check-in area was inconvenient to access. The room did not have black out curtains so the sun came in bright and woke the kids up early. Cold breakfast bar was “ok”. Bathroom set up was awful; no door on the shower so it made for a cold drafty shower and not great for small kids at all.
6.3 Good
Pros: The building is newer and quite clean. I appreciate the underground parking, although I don’t think it should have an additional fee after the high cost of the rooms.
Cons: The room is very sparse. It feels like a business room. I expected a little luxury based in the website. The AC only adjusts down to 68, which sounds cool enough but it’s not. I didn’t sleep well because the room was uncomfortably warm.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Overpriced (compared to other hotels nearby)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Love this place. Excellent refurbishment of the beautiful piece of architecture. One comment. At checkout the front desk person was very confused with my account. After checking my credit card I found I was initially charge for 3 nights vs 2. It was deleted a few days later.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the location was perfect for what we were doing, and the bed was amazing! we slept very well.
Cons: the shower and the pressure was nil to void.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful! The breakfast was great for a continental breakfast.
Cons: For us, the beds were too soft.

Oxford Inn Yakima - Yakima

8.5 Excellent (545 reviews)
C$ 128+
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the friendly staff, quick check-in and check-out, simple breakfast, but mostly the room overlooking the Yakima River. After a long day of driving and hectic schedule of meetings, it's great to come back, throw open the shades, and see the river flowing right outside the window. If the weather is warm, you can open the sliding glass door and enjoy it even more.
Cons: Adding eggs and bacon to the breakfast line-up would be helpful for people eating low-carb. :)
7.7 Good
Pros: Convenience. Clean rooms overlooking the river.
Cons: Breakfast varies and can sometimes be horrible.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean.
Cons: An elevator was unavailable due to a malfunction and three ice machines were also out of order.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Oxford Inn never disappoints. They offer a lot of value for the dollar. Friendly and professional front desk staff make check-in and check-out easy. Really tasty family style Mexican restaurant next door is great. Free breakfasts in the hotel are better than average. Rooms are clean, comfortable and very quiet with views overlooking the Yakima River right outside the sliding glass doors.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good.
Cons: The Gym was a bit small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenience to Sun Dome and restaurants in downtown
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room view
Cons: It was a disability room and the bathroom shower had many unneeded safety items for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant stay, friendly staff and very convenient to all. Food was very good. Like the changes coming to the restaurant area. Parking garage convenient ( but a Hilton Inn sign would make it easier to park once in the garage). Nice stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property was close to where I was doing business. It was clean, bright, airy. The staff were helpful. The sleep was comfortable and the room very clean.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like about this hotel. If you are looking for five star it is not steeped in luxury but it is a definite stay for business or family if you find yourself in Yakima.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room was nice and clean, downtown location convenient.
Cons: Too expensive for what you get, parking is inconvenient, the parking charge of $10 per day is ridiculous. This is Yakima, not New York. Getting internet access was a pain. The biggest issue was that they didn't honor the price from my reservation. I was charged $40 more, and when I showed them my reservation with the lower amount, I just received a condescending look and was informed that this rate would be a bit low for a room at the Hilton. I am disputing the charge but I don't understand how they can do this and still be allowed to offer rooms on this site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was delicious. It was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel!
Cons: The parking isn’t the most convenient but we made it work!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room service and breakfast were great!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: 1) Construction noise in the morning in the hotel 2) Really unpleasant smell in our room; smell seemed to be newly installed materials outgassing and no amount of window opening and constant fan action mitigated it very much 3) Our room wasn't cleaned
4.3 Okay
Cons: The staff was snappy when I got to my room there were crumbs on the table the closet door was open and off-track. I called down they said maintenance would be up in 20 minutes and an hour and a half later I called back to get no answer and at this point it was after 11 o’clock and I fell asleep no one ever came. When I checked out in the morning I noticed that I was charged 197 when I had booked they said the total would be 173
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Check in was perfect and fast. They had my room just as I'd requested.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The continental breakfast was amazing! Eggs cooked to order, hash browns, and bacon in addition to any cold breakfast option you would like. The room was beautiful and cozy and met our needs.
Cons: The check in process was a little weird and one of the three guests was double charged. The issue was corrected, but it made a not quite seamless check in process.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, easy interstate access, clean rooms with comfortable beds, and quiet at night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The waffles and scrambled eggs were very good. So were all the extras.
Cons: The sausage was not eatable, according to my husband. I do not eat sausage. He said it was very greasy and he couldn't eat it. He saw a lot of it in the garbage can so apparently it wasn't only him. I had waffles and usually use sugar-free syrup. I didn't see any there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was quiet and right next to a 24-hour restaurant. Perfect for me after driving for many hours. I wanted a ground floor room as I can't do stairs (no elevator) and it took a while but they did eventually find a room for me.
Cons: I have no complaints.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: All staff great and personable quick to help no complaints I
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wrote this with things i didnt like. Not going to write it again.
Cons: Nice updated rooms. Our room was very quiet. Only thing I will tell the front staff is that there are little (non biting) ants in the bathroom. I would stay here again.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Kind of a rougher clientele and location. Older hotel, needs improvements. Lots of noise in parking lot and other rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: I was in town for medical treatment, so did not partake of the breakfast. The room was clean and functional. It met my needs.
Cons: There was NO air conditioning! 97 degrees in Yakima and room was on second floor and it was HOT! No air circulation at all. While room was clean and serviceable, the bathroom was a bit dingy.
4.0 Okay
Pros: My husband likes the fact that you can walk out to the parking lot from the room to smoke. There isn't much I like at all except the price.
Cons: Tub has black around the drain and in a couple other places. Shower head was a real water saver and barely got you wet. Bathroom smelled of urine. The one chair was old and low to the ground so was not comfortable at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good location, restaurant on site, and quite for sleeping.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy to book extra night l0
Cons: They didn't have their baked cookies like normal.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Sheets were dirty and room smelled strongly like cigarettes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfortable and the size of the fridge
Cons: We had to have our keys reprogrammed about 3 or 4 times a day. They would only work 1 or 2 times and then quit working. The breakfast was so bad my husband spit his sausage into his napkin and we went somewhere else to eat.

7.0 Good
Pros: The room was recently remodeled including the bathroom. No musty smell was in the room at all! Everything was new except for the Air-conditioner. Because of the areas on going activities at night, there is a 8' cyclone fence around the whole motel. And if you come in after dark....your vehicle is buzzed in at the entrance. I felt very comfortable leaving my car at night to enter the motel. Everything was clean, the bed was firm but not hard, we were given 4 pillows for our bed, a coffee pot with instant coffee and tea was available and the TV/Cable worked well.
Cons: Shady Part of town, not the worst/dangerous but my internal security was cranked up a notch. The hallways had a old musty smell, Some action on the street in front of the Motel at night. Lots of foot traffic on the street, Which explains why there's a 8' cyclone fence around the whole properly. One of the glaring security issues that I brought up with the staff at the front desk, was the side entrance doors at night (entrance B) were never locked (our stay was 2 nights 3 days over the forth of July holiday) The card reader was at the door and lit, but both nights we entered the motel (midnight the first night then 01:30 the second time) the doors were unlocked and the hallways were open to anyone who pushed open the doors and entered. Very disturbing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: road construction security gate was unwelcoming. Unwanted room oder
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The front desk gal who checked us in was very nice and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was horrible. The apple juice had fermented. Bacon was terribly cooked. Milk was in jugs in a large metal basket with barely any ice keeping it cold. This is not a safe area especially for families with children. Spend a few extra bucks and don't stay on this side of town. Bed extremely uncomfortable - anytime someone else moves it moves and shakes the entire bed. Pillows were lumpy.
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: Entire hotel was very dirty and poorly lit. The door to my room had been bashed in recently I take it since the trim was completely broken and lock had been screwed back together. Capet was stained and ruffled up as well as the subfloor being rotted away and creeking. Stains on the chair and bed as well. All furniture was scathed and scuffed, looked like it was bought at a yard sale.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Sketchy people everywhere, tried to check out an hour late and I’m going to be charyand there is NO ONE in the hotel!
4.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There wasn't anything bad about this hotel for the most part.
Cons: The price was rediculous for what you got. The place was incredibly dated with peeling wallpaper and our toilet was not secured to the floor (scary). We could not get wifi service in our room and needed it to complete a bunch of work. Had to go to the lobby to find it. Looks like they are planning on a remodel which is sorely needed although we will most likely not stay here again.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was good size and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Cons: The WiFi was terrible. It would kick you off frequently. The location was not great. The property is totally fenced off with electric gates which seemed most unusual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reservation Service, customer service, security clarification. Clean, comfortable, quiet.
Cons: Bathroom tub drain!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Buffet was excellent, food was hot and very tasty for a buffet, great selection of fruit . Staff was attentive, accommodating and personable, front desk handled check-in & check out very professionally
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was awesome both days. When we arrived there were two lights that were burned out in the bathroom. I don't see very well due to severe glaucoma and I couldn't see well in the bathroom at all. My husband reported it and by the time we returned the lightbulbs had been replaced. The bathroom was spacious - both my husband and I are handicapped due to severe back problems and the handicapped room was great and on the main floor and closely located to a main outside door. Thank you
Cons: What we are very disappointed in, is this. We assumed our belongings would be okay and consequently I left my pink charger to my iphone in the wall plug-in by the side of the bed where I slept. When we returned on Sunday after church, it was missing. I reported it to the office, who said they would ask housekeeping if they had seen it the next morning. Of course the next morning they "asked Housekeeping who untruthfully responded 'NO', of course they did, because they stole it. I went the remainder of the trip (one week) without the charger to charge my cell phone. I cannot replace it - the one I had matched my phone and also matched the pink case. I am very disgusted about this - I have not EVER had anything stolen before, however I guess there is a FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING. I do wish the employee who took the charger would have been honest enough to admit they had taken it and returned it. Because of that, we WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN, and we do come to Yakima area frequently because we have a daughter that lives there. TOO BAD! I just ordered a new one today and it is an UGLY WHITE - the only color I could get. I would really like to have MY PINK one back. We came for a Class Runion - 60 years, no less!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, clean and the breakfast was over the top!!
Cons: It's a beautiful hotel but in a bad part of town...they do have it fenced and a security guard that patrols.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet
Cons: Permeated/ stale air in both rooms Could not open windows. the black security gate was discomforting, and the lobby entrance was not well marked.

1.0 Poor
Cons: Stains on floor and bedding, trash in drawers, loud neighbors all during the night so had to leave the AC unit on making the room freezing, smelled like cigarette smoke in a non smoking room
6.3 Good
Pros: Evening clerk very nice.
Cons: Room smelled of old cigarette smoke. Air ran all night but never cooled down the room. Refrigerator did not work. Had neighbor kids running and screaming outside until well after 10. Didn't sleep much due to noise and hot, stuffy room. Morning clerk rather cold in demeanor. Stop breakfast too early.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Choose not to stay for breakfast so can't speak to that. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: There was a man hanging around my doorway (Room 106) for hours and I'm not sure why - it was unsettling. The lights in the room stopped working. I also didn't realize there was an extra $20 fee for my small dog - I don't recall that when I made the reservation, just that the hotel was "pet friendly." The gal at the front desk was harried and told me how many hours she'd worked in a row without a break and how fed up she was. Not exactly something a guest needs to hear.

Cons: The towels were dirty, there were ants in the bathroom..toilet was broken In first room..moved to a different one which was a little more updated.. still dirty...one of the employees I'm very worried about her safety...I'm generally concerned about her..she was so sweet..and deserves so much better..also I got random room phone calls at 2am..a few times..and felt I was being watched..
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: I didn't like anything at that place, they need to improve their facility, it's dirty to include the linens and bed sheets. Didn't even change ours I think.
