4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was nice and staff were nice
Cons: Room was very dusty and paint was flaking off around where shower was. I was awoken by the sounds of drills and hammering and saws at 9.30 on the Saturday morning in the room beside us. I rang down to reception and was informed there were putting down new flooring and renovating the room. Reception told me they would ask them to keep the noise down but unfortunately that did not happen, then at 10.15 we got a knock on the door from housekeeping although checkout was not until 12.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast! Adare village is gorgeous. Dunraven Arms supports local Irish culture and tradition.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were very nice. Food was nice.. great location
Cons: Room had dampness showing at window reveals . No tea or coffee making facilities in the room . We were told when checking out that it was complementary and could be ordered by room service.. no information indicating this in the room. I had booked a table in the restaurant the Thursday before we stayed in hotel Saturday night.. the table we got was placed in a door way and i was made sit beside a fold away door which was cramped to say the least...

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was a bit high and as I have a disability I had to use a chair to get onto and off the bed .if we knew that the bed was to be high in a certain room then we wouldn’t choose that. Also room service was only ok. I asked for a sandwich on loaf bread and got it on slice pan rashers were bit tough. We ordered breakfast in the room on the two mornings and it was cold. We usually don’t complain but I said I’d let you know. We have stayed there on numerous occasions and would love to stay there again provided things would be dealt with. I would have loved to have a bath but due to no Handles on side of bath I wouldn’t be able to pull myself up. I also think that spa treatments and to get hair done while you are there was a bit expensive maybe there could be a deal done for everything instead .
Cons: There should be a lift in the hotel, I have a disability and even though my fiancé helps me it’s not easy. A change in the room service menu would be nice. The door keys of the room are very difficult to turn or open for me it might help to have cards to open the doors instead.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was lovely very comfortable and spacious.
Cons: I asked for scrambled eggs and got two fried eggs. Sent them back with no fuss and got powdered scrambled eggs. For 145 euro i expected fresh eggs. The lady near me had fresh scrambled so I was confused.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff so friendly. The room is big. Location excellent for Adare.
Cons: The tiles around jacuzzi need a deep clean as eye level when in jacuzzi. The bistro (tearoom decor) was the only area to eat after 5pm , so disappointed as fancied getting dressed up for romantic meal. Food not available in bar area. Lots of kids (30/40) as confirmation on but they ran loops through out the lobby and bar, I would have liked to see some sort of supervision first from parents but then from manager, it was wild and unsafe, the floor staff have great patience as so many times trays of drinks nearly got toppled.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food, staff, bed.
Cons: Everything superb - excellent food, cozy bed, nice staff, elegant hotel. The one exception was acoustics. We could hear people talking in the corridor at all hours of the night. And could hear doors closing. I went out a few times to ask people to take their conversations elsewhere.

Pros: How close it is to the airport.

Cons: Nothing it was a wonderful hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great as always. Great staff great food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There are so many incredible things to say about this hotel and it's staff. The guy who worked in the mornings (Brian) was so helpful to get me an early check-in when I requested it, and in the evening Shane printed off a bus schedule for me. Speaking of which, it's a simple 15 minute bus ride (costs 2.50 each way) to and from Shannon airport, and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, and even offered to bring food and a pint up to my room if I had requested. The room itself was way bigger than I expected and was clean & comfortable. There's a small market about a 5-minute walk away (called Mace), which has everything you'd ever need if that's your thing. Plus there's a larger market and a number of restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. This was a great stay for a night stopover in Shannon and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Cons: Wi-Fi did not work during our stay (could log in but no ability beyond that - I heard another customer at the front desk showing the problem on their tablet (i.e. it was a hotel problem) but it was never fixed for them or for us. With no international phone coverage on my mobile, Wi-Fi as promised would have been helpful.

This is a beautiful introduction to Ireland as the country home is comfortable, spacious, spotless and so close to the airport. The hospitality is top notch, room was spacious, warm and welcoming. The bar and sitting room extremely accommodating for tired travelers and the wine list quite extensive. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Beautiful property, amazing hospitality and delicious meals. We highly recommend staying here after a long flight. It was a quick and easy ten minute drive but you feel like you are in the country. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, welcoming, great breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The son booked us in when we arrived and he couldn't have been nicer. The food was made to order so it was fresh and hot. We got down earlier than expected but the host made it work out. She gave us good directions to the airport to help us on our way. The bedroom was very comfortable. The host was very friendly. She is very close to the airport.
Cons: The coffee was in the common room. Nothing in the bedroom. It seemed to be a hassle for them that we didn't know when we were going to arrive. I know we were off season( just a bit) but I shouldn't have been made to feel that way. I'm pretty easy going but that feeling should not have been passed along to a guest. I didn't care for being on a timed breakfast schedule. We got down earlier than we expected and felt a bit uncomfortable for being early. The common room was not inviting for a cup of coffee or tea. The family of the host was in the kitchen watching t.v. or listening to the radio during breakfast and it just brought forth the whole B &B thing as being an "add on". It seems that for 5 stars I expected much better. We had much better for less stars. This app asked us if booking.com showed the place correctly and I went back to check it out and couldn't find this B&B listed even after many tries if typing the exact name in so I can't answer that question.

Pros: We had stayed here 13 years before and loved it then, still highly recommend it today. The owner is very friendly and welcoming assuring that all of our needs were met. The rooms were beautiful, quiet and comfortable. We had access to the parlor including a small refrigerator to enjoy friends we were traveling with. A selection of cooked food was offered the next morning, served in a pretty dining room. The owner even made taxi reservations for us to get to the airport in the morning. There are several excellent restaurants in this area as well. It was good seeing her children before they left for school as they were very young during our stay in 2006.
Cons: We were completely satisfied.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. We had to leave for a flight and the host made sure to have us select our breakfast at check in. It was ready when we got downstairs!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great. The host was very communicative, kind, and welcoming.

Pros: Our hosts were fabulous. We got to spend some time chatting with them the evening we arrived. Wonderful people! Their home was spacious with comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was great and they are located just a few miles from Shannon airport. Thank you Kathryn, Sean and Denise for such a delightful end to our stay, in Ireland!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like, besides the fact that we couldn't stay longer.

Pros: Katherine was very welcoming and helpful with dinner suggestions and all questions we had about the area. She made sure my early morning taxi was scheduled and he arrived right on time. Unfortunately I had to miss the breakfast as I had an early morning flight but my traveling partner said it was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and very charming!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The couple running the place were extremely nice and helpful- picked us up from the airport after we dropped off the rental car and needed to go back to the hotel. They also booked us a car for an early morning departure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile with everything. The Irish breakfast was delicious and they had great suggestions for restaurants and shopping. Just a 10 Euro cab ride from the airport, but you are transported to a cozy village. The dining room was an enchanting experience. But most of all, was the cleanliness of the B &B. Kathryn and her husband having been doing this for 20 years, but their enthusiasm remains. Highly recommended. We wish it had been available for both nights that we were there.
Cons: Not a thing.
