Had to pay a resort fee even after all the taxes and fees had been paid thru kayak. Certainly not worth the cost I will go back to a four or five star hotel where I get service for the cost.
I LIKED THE RENOVATIONS THE HOTEL/CASINO HAVE MADE AND ARE STILL MAKING. I THINK THAT ON THE WEEKENDS NEED A COFFEE SHOP WITH MORE HEALTH ORIENTED SNACKS AVAILABLE DURING LATE HOURS. ALSO TIME AGO YOU USED TO HAVE ON THE WEEKENDS LIVE MUSIC OR A DANCE AREA, NOT JUST A BAR ALSO A SMALL SPA. I HAVE TO GO TO SANDIA, AND SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT RENTING THERE JUST SO I DON'T HAVE TO BE TRAVELING BACK AND FORTH THERE. AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS, THE AREA AND GAMES ARE ALWAYS THE SAME, NO NEW TECHNICAL STUFF GOING ON

Room wasn't ready when we were told it would be, so they moved us to the 4th floor instead of asking if we would mind waiting. The bed comforter was lumpy and dirty. We had a king unit but only was given 3 pillows.

Didn't even survive the night
The restaurant staff was kind and polite. The food was delicious.
We had very loud neighbors that were screaming, yelling, laughing, and banging things around all night. We filed a noise complaint with the front desk but nothing changed. Finally just before midnight we decided to leave as no one was able to sleep. When we were checking out the front desk didn't try to switch us rooms, offer suggestions, or offer refunds in any way. He just said you booked through a separate service so there's nothing I can do. My husband and I have stayed at many resorts that include casinos and have never had such an awful experience. I sent a formal complaint to the manager, as none was available that evening, and still have yet to hear a single word back. We will never stay here again!!

Cleanliness of the room was not the greatest. My husband and I had to clean up pubic hair on the floor and in the bathtub. We also had to clean up boogers that were pasted on the wall. Room was beautiful and comfortable and we still enjoyed out time, we hope the rooms get cleaned thoroughly for our next stay.

Casino was very smoky
The room was nice and spacious. The beds were decently comfortable. Most of the staff was excellent (pool attendants, front desk, cleaning staff, and most of service staff in Tiwa cafe on 1st floor). The casino staff is good as well.
The door locks are not sensitive enough. It takes several seconds for the access point on the door to read the card. Not a terrible problem, but it was a bit annoying. The room has no refrigerator (might want to bring a cooler if possible). The pillows were a little lacking (don't provide great neck support). Although the room was smoke free and smelled good the hallways and lobby sometimes smell like smoke because the casino goers smoke like chimneys and tend to drag the smell with them. The staff works very hard to maintain a clean facility however. It's just something that will not get better unless smoking is banned on premise.
