All good, but not great
Atmosphere, staff, room, location
It was freezing in the evening and there was no heating in the room. Reception had heating at this time. Very poor for customer comfort. Staff in the meantime were comfy sitting in warm reception.
Excellent friendly service from all staff. Restaurant very good. Quiet location in a residential district.
My wife has some mobility issues and there are quite a few unavoidable steps, some with no handrails. Quite small basic bedrooms - ok in summer but not for spending much time in in the winter months. These are not complaints but observations as we really enjoyed our stay there.
The rooms were always kept spotless with clean towels every day and loads of hot water for showers. Breakfasts were good but same every day. The breakfast waiter was very nice and helpful.
The dinner menu was quite fancy and not really suitable for children. Also they didnt start serving until 9.30pm I was there with my 8yr old neice and 5yr old nephew - room was a bit snug for 3 single beds but it was fine as we were out all day and beds were comfy. The walls we discovered were extremely thin. one night we were disturbed by a drunken couple in the next room. They had the tv on and were very noisy, after a long while i phoned reception, they were very quick to sort the problem. I should also mention, the kids were really looking forward to the swimming pool and we were sorely disappointed to find it freezing and in shade most of day so didnt heat up.
The hotel was very close to the beaches and situated in a quiet residential area. The staff, on the whole, were friendly.
The hotel was smart but looking a bit dowdy and in need of modernisation. Staff are friendly but very little English is spoken. The location is too far out of town for most holiday makers.
Staff were very helpful good value dinner, and rooms were very good.
