We upgraded to a room with a double aspect balcony which was great- view was wonderful to the harbour and the castle- staff very helpful Building looks ugly from the outside but is fine inside- and you can see it from wherever you are so easy to find your way back!
Very noisy- we were on 25th Floor and the restaurant is on 26 th floor so noisy with comings and goings and doors banging up until 4 am on one occasion - needs more noise insulation - probably better on lower floors where there would be less footfall

Lack of facilities for the money, no pool or gym. The hall of the floor I stayed on smelt badly of sewage each day, which I assumed the cleaning staff knew of as they were there each day.

Hotel offers probably the best view in Alicante. We had a nice, comfortable room with a sea view. Bed was comfy and wifi worked perfectly. You can observe both sunrise and sunset. Excellent location and very friendly staff.
Bathtub was in a desperate need of refurbishment which made showering an awkward experience.
