Cons: Continental breakfast could have been better.
Pros: Location convenient for visits to napa & sonoma. Big room, good for families with kids. Good value.
Cons: Breakfast could offer better choices.
Pros: This hotel was a good value for the area. It was comfortable and the staff was nice. There was a good breakfast in the morning, which was included in the price. Would recommend for anyone going to Napa.
Pros: Close to other food. Nice area.
Cons: Garbage in room upon our arrival, I found rice in the bed... great hotel need to work on deep cleaning. And maybe a better breakfast selection.
Pros: Small property, I love the location. Plenty of food shops to pick from. Super close to discovery kingdom. Great breakfast options.
Pros: Excellent breakfast with a lot of cold and warm options. Nice pool area and a large family room.
Cons: A bit close to a big road with hard traffic.
Pros: Very well located and close to places we were visiting. The room was very confortable. We also enjoyed breakfast very much.
Cons: Too close to the main road and noisy. People walking in the hall early in the morning and talking too loud. Also the sprinklers where we parked the car the first night stained our car.
Pros: Clean! Comfortable bed! Location!
Pros: Good hotel, nice experience. The shower curtain was very damaged and deteriorated. The breakfast was good, just the traditional American breakfast.
Pros: Very clean and modern. Excellent free hot breakfast.
Pros: 1) The hotel is good for visiting Napa and Sonoma valleys. It is much cheaper than hotels there, but still in 30 mins by car. Muir Woods and Point Reyes are also relatively close. A good night stop for a weekend trip to these areas. 2) There are plenty fast food in waling distance. In addition, there is a Walmart super-center (convenient if you forgot to take something in your trip). 3) I have insured my foot (spilled some hot tea). They provided a pain relief gel and sterile wipes. It was great, as the pharmacies had been already closed.

Cons: Room was ok, the bathroom sink was dirty like they cleaned then forgot to rinse it.. the wall has some stains of we dont know what but it was brown, not sure if its chocolate or poop!! Eww!! Pros: Always friendly
Cons: They always real nice and helped me out with my situation. Only thing is the bed wasn't so comfy and the fan in the bathroom a big layer if dust . I would always stay there as long as I am away from the pool what they so far always did for me .is a small hotel so close to the pool would be a little loud for people like me .
Pros: The bed was nice and comfortable. Room was nice and clean.
Cons: When I got out of my car people were outside smoking and making a lot of noise and it was 10:45pm.
Cons: I couldn't get coffee without going to the office and ringing the doorbell

Cons: The breakfast. I was expecting a continental breakfast with bagels and a toaster. The breakfast was packaged.
Pros: I don't usually give all 4's but this really is a cute little place. Its definitely newly remodeled and they did a great job. The breakfast is small but ok and they have a coffee machine that does ok. Not a huge fan of pools but booked here for my son and I did end up getting in the jacuzzi and it was nice. Pool is small
Cons: I don't like that they do $100 deposit. Who does that anymore? But whatever

Pros: I slept in, so I missed the breakfast. The location was easy and accessible.
Cons: I had booked and paid online previous to my stay (at least a little more than a month in advance), but when I arrived I was told rooms weren't clean yet so it might take some time...this was a mini moment of panic as I had a wedding reception to get ready for. Luckily, as I was finishing my check-in, a room opened up and was given to me. phew!!
Pros: The room the breakfast
Cons: Front desk People have to be friendlier to people, try to help you, welcome you at least, nothing friendly. all the time they appear to be bad
Pros: Breakfast included
Cons: Charging us before checking in and the amount of hold we had to pay and how long it takes to get back.
Pros: Location was good. Near our required needs. Price was right for the area and our needs. no problem getting to hotel easy access exit. Parking was good
Cons: The TV would not work properly, our door deadbolt did not work, breakfast was just OK but coffee was terrible. kids were running around the hallways with no supervision and none of the staff addressed it and it was 10:00 pm
Pros: This was easy to find and very close to Six Flags. We really enjoyed how quiet it was, even with being so close to the highway. The staff was very kind in processing our very late night check in with a smile and speed!
Cons: Rugs seem outdated
Pros: The breakfast was very good, lots of choices. The property was well lit and plenty of parking. Location had plenty of stores and restaurants available, even within walking distance.
Pros: The staff quickly accommodated my room change request when my first room smelled like pot.
Cons: The place is run down and more expensive than the Courtyard on the other side of the park. I stayed here because a friend insisted, but with the lobby continuing to smell like pot every time I walked through it, I won’t return
Pros: It had a very convenient location, easy to get in and out of, close to food/stores/attractions
Cons: There were blood stains on the bed linens and the room had a generally musty smell.
Pros: Breakfast and proximity to park
Cons: Very stuffy

Pros: My two children and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Discovery Kingdom July 3rd, we were let check in early and given late check out and enjoyed a delicious breakfast!
Cons: Was a but noisy at night, we could hear the neighbors above us showering, sneezing and stomping late at night so the kids had a hard time staying asleep!
Pros: The kitchen and cleaning staff were amazing. Thanks for making our stay that much better.
Cons: They need drawers in the bed rooms. Otherwise it was great. Alittle pricey
Pros: The room size was nice. We had a view of the pool, which look good. The overall appearance of the hotel, inside and out was exceptional. The service staff was polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Several Guests including my wife and I could not get bacon. Attendant indicated that it was all gone.
Pros: It's very modern and clean.
Cons: The water is not hot enough in the shower. I can hear people talking on the next room and foot step on the upper room.
Cons: Every thing was super awesome.
Pros: Everything was truly exceptional. All the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. Very clean and comfy room. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The breakfast was wonderful! And there were so many little details that just made us feel so welcome. It's within walking distance of six flags, though traffic can be crazy! Their shuttle service was a great choice in the evening when we wanted to come back. We will definitely be staying here again! Hampton Inn for the win!
Pros: Price and amenities is what drew me in.
Cons: On my itinerary and reservation it says specifically : no deposit required. Because I spend nights 3+/ month with no problems. But when I got there, there was a surprise deposit. Bigger than I've ever had to pay. Only to have my money held hostage 5days.
Pros: Where do I start wow I have everything good to say about this hotel! The rooms are immaculate very clean! Comfy beds and good size bathroom. The hotel put in a brand new spa which is amazing!!! The whole pool area and workout room is a perfect day-cation in itself! The free breakfast is great and so is the amazing coffee bar for the guests with a great variety of hot teas, hot cocoa, lemon water and of course coffee and choices of creamers. Six Flags is just a block away!!! We will definitely be back.
Cons: The new remodel
Cons: Road noise

With a stay at Motel 7 in Vallejo, you'll be a 4-minute drive from Vallejo Ferry Terminal and 6 minutes from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room , cleanliness & location was good but one thing we don’t really like is they said free smoke but the smell of the room was terrible because of Marijuana smells and I got a headache .
Pros: It's quiet and the front desk people are super nice...
Cons: The rate is too high for the weekend...Especially if you have been staying all week and it would be nice if there was a weekly rate not just a daily rate...And I didn't like the fact that the housekeepers don't speak English because I asked for my room to be cleaned twice and it didn't get done...
Pros: the water fountain rose garden
Pros: Its kept clean and the allowed my service dog to stay. I had my card and I was not harrassed by the staff. No pets are allowed except service animals. We had a big fridge and microwave. A decent flat screen tv with ample stations. And it is convience to the free way. Not far from convience stores or gas stations.
Cons: Location off the freeway. The off ramp is not safe because of the wide curve and the intermediate location of the intersection. Everything else was very good.
Cons: The hot water doesn't get hot as it should. It goes back and forth from warm to cold. It took 2 days before the maids came to do housecleaning for me.
Pros: It's was clean and easy to get to places
Pros: Personal attention by staff. He closed the office just to take us to our room and was willing to let us pick the best of two rooms. The janitorial staff was very respectful of our recyclables.
Pros: I had 2 rooms and my son had 1, #240,241,243.The staff out us next to each other and I appreciated that. Also each bed came with 3 pillows. Also I enjoyed that there was a refrigerator and microwave in each room.
Cons: I had woke up in the middle of the night and found roaches running all over my food on top of and inside the microwave in room 241 and it happened in my son's room 240. It was a surprise because I didn't see them during the day, so I had to throw a whole pizza away, also I wish there would have been a pool. Besides that I was satisfied.
Cons: the room smells like a cigarette
Pros: Room size and full sized fridge.
Cons: Luke warm water
Pros: Staff kept my room and entire property very clean. Thank you.

Pros: There was nothing nice about this place!
Cons: My reservations were not honored due to the site not having a contract with the new owners. Place is run down, and service was rude and useless.
Cons: When we got there they told us they don't honor online reservations. The place is incredibly run down and from my initial assessment seems dangerous. For your safety please avoid staying here and book alternate accommodations.

Cons: There was no refrigerator. Hair dryer, Shampoo and facial tissues were not available in the room. Extra towels were not available too.
Pros: How close it was to the park. How friendly the staff and manager was.
Cons: That when we checked in to the room, there was only 3 towels and no soap or shampoo in the room.
Cons: The place is scary. There are other people who uses marijuana in their rooms. You can smell it by passing by their rooms. I feel like the people staying there are not there to sleep but just to smoke marijuana. I even had bed bug bites.
Cons: it was dirty, had stains, hairs, insects l and the air conditioner was leaking water around the room
With a stay at Budget Inn Vallejo/Napa Valley in Vallejo, you'll be a 4-minute drive from Vallejo Ferry Terminal and 6 minutes from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I guess it's been updated since a few of these other reviews as it looked like the brightly painted walls were recent, the flat screen TV still had the plastic on it, and there were tile floors so no nasty old carpet to be grossed out about. Also there was fridge, freezer, AND microwave albeit no coffee but I brought some since there was forewarning. All in all I was actually pleasantly surprised, I'd go so far as to say I'd stay again if I was back in Vallejo for whatever reason and would recommend it to others.
Cons: It was slightly hard to find bcs we drove in at night and not only are they tucked back off an odd intersection the sign isn't very brightly lit but once we knew where it was it was fine. The location actually ended up being nice bcs there was no noise from the freeway or road traffic. The walls are very thin, could hear the neighbors conversations and TV but then lots of motels I've stayed in are like that. Was more annoyed that the neighbors had people over at 3am than at the motel for having thin walls.
The newly renovated Super 8 Vallejo/Napa Valley is located directly off Interstate 80 and Highway 37. Located minutes away from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Solano County Fairgrounds, Kaiser Permanente, California Maritime Academy, Touro University, Infineon raceway, Mare Island and gateway to the world renowned Napa Valley Wine Country and its beautiful wineries, Sonoma, and a scenic ferry ride across the Bay to San Francisco, Pier 39/Fisherman Wharf. There are a number of shops and a variety of restaurants located in the surrounding area of Napa Valley CA hotel.
Pros: The comfortable beds and the balcony
Cons: I was under the impression they had a pool it wasn't very clean and they were unable to provide simple Hotel Essentials
Cons: Worn down and not well appointed. Couldn't get extra pillows, ice machine was broken, etc.
Pros: The location was great
Cons: I had some billing issues
Pros: It was very quite and easy to get to Our room was very nice and clean. I think the star rating needs to go up. It was way more that I thought it would be when we got there
Cons: The only problem we had was we got locked out but they fixed it right away and their breakfast room was a little small for the amount of people and the times you can use it
Pros: The waffles were great but not many choices for gluten free. Mostly toast and cereal and yogurt. Some juice and fruit. It was fine for the price. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The location was convenient as it was off the freeway and we were passing through. However, the freeway was very noisy and we did not like that.
Pros: The front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: The fence in the parking area was cut... felt kind of uncomfortable parking my car.... also there was only 1 soda machine for the whole facility.
Pros: Staff is friendly very socialable. Easy location, right off the freeway. Spacious room, nice patio. Breakfast decent...good waffles!
Cons: Well...it could have been cleaner. Walls were very dirty, toothpaste stains on bathroom walls. Mirror still has writing in upper corner...so you know they didn't clean it. Trash behind the fridge. Oh and when pulled the blankets back...a prescription Tylenol was under the covers. Breakfast you could include some protein...like hard boiled eggs or bacon.
Pros: Nice location. Easy to find. Appeared clean on the outside. And front staff was friendly b
Cons: Our room was nasty filthy! I have a list from the moment we walked in the room. From the funky smell that even cologne wouldn’t mask. Probably from all the food and wrappers shoved in places all over the room that hadn’t been cleaned or touched in a really long time. Burn holes on blankets. Blood stains on curtain. Booger’s on the wall all around the mirror! Coffee stains on the wall by the coffee pot. Food in AC vent. Food wrappers and eating utensils behind tv stand/desk. Food and wrappers behind chairs shoved in a corner. Food and trash under chairs. Dust so thick it looked like cob webs. I could keep going.
Pros: Very friendly.
Cons: Time for breakfast end 9:00 they should put until 10:30.
Pros: Easy access off the freeway.
Cons: The bathroom was dirty with hair in the shower drain and a pile of dirt in the corner. The breakfast was only cereal, juice, coffee, toast, tiny muffins and waffles. I would suggest at least some eggs. It was the most lacking continental breakfast I have seen in years.
Pros: The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The carpet was the only thing. That need to be redone.
Pros: THE STAFF IS AMAZING. THEY ARE HELPFUL AND KIND.
Cons: PLEASE ADD BOILED EGGS TO YOUR BREAKFAST MENU. THERE IS NO PROTEIN!! LOL
With a stay at Express Inn in Vallejo, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Vallejo Ferry Terminal. Featured amenities include express check-out and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Cheap cost, nice staff, and close to BottleRock
Cons: Not clean, carpets were filthy! Beds were uncomfortable. You could hear the cars on the freeway all night, things shook in the room whenever a big truck passed by. The area is a little shady...but it was the cheapest room we found at last minute that was close to Napa for BottleRock.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I was very happy with my room. Front desk was pleasant and helpful.
Pros: Bed comfortable but pillows were not.
Cons: Additional $16 fees and taxes seemed excessive. Pillows need replacing ....
Pros: The front desk managers/owners were extremely nice.
Cons: While the people in the front office were very friendly and understanding, this property is very run down and dirty. There was a very strong musty, moist odor when we came into the room. We also saw that there was mold in the bathroom. We originally booked 2 nights here, but arranged after an hour to leave the next morning. They refunded our second night’s stay.
Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: The guy in the 3 floor have the music to loud.
Pros: The high ceilings.
Cons: The smell when i first walked in was really bad. They should have air fresheners.
Pros: They charge 150 security deposit, I hope I get it back. --- dollars 2 nights plus 150 security deposit. Sucks
Cons: The entire place was in a state of disrepair
Pros: The bed was super comfy
Cons: Don’t have anything to really complain about other than the location it being right by the freeway
Pros: Good value for money place to stay for day trips into San Francisco.
Cons: Lighting in the room could be improved

Pros: Two nights we had no hot water
Cons: Dirty and run down
Pros: Not much at all.
Cons: No internet as advertised. No hot water in shower and no cold in bathroom sink. No tv, just snowy channels. Room stunk of curry prepared food.
Pros: They did not offer breakfast. The location was good.
Cons: The facility did not answer the phone or email. We had to switch rooms because the AC didn't work in the first one. I booked 3 rooms together and we were moved it put my room downstairs from my kids. None of the rooms had hair dryers or phones. They were under construction and the rooms weren't complete.
Pros: The outside of the property was nice enough, however our room 203 was beyond disgusting. Upon arrival the bathroom was dirty, there was a pillow on the bed that had a lot of deep yellow stains on it, one of the beds completely sunk in the middle, the living area was dirty, the sink in the bathroom leaked heavily, there was exploded wires where one of the lamps where plugged in, the sheets had cigarette burns in them, and the mold in the bathroom. The room we stayed in was beyond livable, even the door handle the bathroom was falling off. It looked as if the room had not been cleaned in a while, so much that there was dust all over the fixtures, the floor was so dirty so we wore our shoes the whole time except when showering. Upon leaving on our way to check out in the outside hall next to the office there were maggots all over the ground and the pool area was still littered with towels from the day before. The property was “under construction” however this was beyond construction, it was unlivable. Our room should have never been rented out. We tried to book something else but unfortunately for us no other hotels had vacancies that would accommodate our family. We will never stay at this property again by far the worst place we have ever stayed at. Even for the price the quality was beyond sub par, not livable. Worst experience we have ever had. I would have gladly stayed at a motel 6 if they had a vacancy as I know the standards would’ve been much much higher. The lobby was beautiful So it was shocking how bad the room was. One of the staff did come in when we requested a new pillow and she mopped the floor in the bathroom with a hand towel and gave us more towels and toilet paper so that was a small plus, at least we could take of our shoes to clean ourselves in the shower. Never again!
Pros: Staff were helpful and very understanding. They did the best they could to make things better. Mostly out of their control.
Cons: The hotel was under renovations. This should be mentioned on their website. Hotel houses insurgents and other long term guests. This should also be mentioned. Room was generally clean but there was mold on the ceiling, paint peeling off the walls and basically in desperate need of a renovation. Strong smell of urine outside the front door. Neighbouring rooms has animal feed bowls outside the front door.
Pros: Did not like property was gross and the tv didint even work
Cons: False advertising. Air conditioner didn't work. No way to call front desk. Angry guests when checking in.
Cons: Could not contact hotel during the day, phone kept hanging up. Upon arrival at hotel they tried to give us a double room, had reserved a king. After arguing with staff was given "business" room with king bed, At first they tried to charge me more for room
Pros: The loction
Cons: This was the worst experience I have ever had at a motel!! Very unprofessional, money hungry, dirty and I mean filthy rooms ever! Roaches, bed bugs and filthy.
Pros: No the bed wasn't like a cloud, they put me on the side where they didn't have the new rooms. Very disppointed to say the least. I've never had such rude front desk people in life! The most recent unprofessional service, they had bed bugs, roaches and dirty and mean dirty, filthy, make you not want to sit or lay down. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone unless we wanted to ruin there day
Cons: Had lots of roaches, I will never be staying in this place again, GROSS

Cons: I guess it's what you get for the price. Not a very inviting place, it's good for a last minute stay if you can't find one anywhere. The place is really outdated.
Pros: The room was spacious and fairly clean. The service was friendly and helpful. The flowers and trees made the place brighter and more welcoming.
Cons: Cosmetic issues: Replace toilet seat, sweep in bathroom, scrub all of the shower walls (soap scum on one of the shelves), mop floors daily, television picture was very fuzzy (fixed but kept getting interruptions in picture/satellite), wifi wasn't reliable and still waiting to receive my $50 deposit to be returned. Not really sure why a Choice Hotels member would have to pay for this.
4.4 Okay (1,233 reviews)
Pros: Our hotel rooms were disgusting, 1 room a/c didnt work, bed was messed up, pillows used, sunflower seeds on floor. 2nd room, blood & pen mark on sheet of one bed, husband woke up to a blood stained pillow in his face a pillow case came off. Have pictu
Cons: Our bathroom was discusting, our door didn''t shut right, they room was dirty, they had to relay our room card every time we left. They guy at front desk never checked I had, just asked what room #. mold on bathroom roof. Wouldnt refund so we could le
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: Desk service could be much much better.
Cons: It was awful. We only stayed for about 5 hours and the only reason we stayed that long was because it was 2:30 in the morning when we finally got there. The elevator smelled like urine, the room was filthy,
Pros: this was the worst hotel
Cons: you need to remove this hotel from your website. It was the worst hotel experience I have had. Dirty rooms. carpet hasn't been cleaned for a long time, graffiti on the wall in the room. Looked like a hourly rate hotel. shady people hanging out.
Cons: The check in staff was rude didn't understand English it was dirty inside and out.
Pros: Nothing service was terrible rooms were dirty parts of the dresser and table were sticky black mold on the shower head carpet had black stains towels and bed sheets were dirty staff was rude i better get my deposit back over all dissatisfied
Pros: Nothing, the room smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes in it Right before I checked in.
Cons: The staff was extremely rude. I tried calling the hotel for several hours trying to inform them that I was going to be checking in late. Turns out the receptionist silenced the phone.
Pros: At first I thought this hotel was gross, but then I realized they are trying to create a prison experience. They did an awesome job! Aggressive employees (guards), disgusting rooms (cells), graffiti in the room made this place feel just like prison!
Cons: Well, if they want to go for the complete prison experience, I suggest issuing some prison clothing. They are obviously saving money by not hiring any cleaning staff, so they could issue prison outfits to everyone to make the experience more authentic.
Cons: Room 286 . The bed , the door lock and overall cleanliness.
Pros: the price of the room
Cons: yes the pool was empty, the room smelled like a dirty hamster cage. The free WIFI never worked. some of the staff were very unhelpful.
Pros: The location only
Cons: Very worn, refrigeraters don't work, no coffee pots. Microwave wave was stationed where there was no electrical out let. Tubs are very grossly worn.
Cons: Horrible experience, did not stay in hotel. Hotel smelled of cigarettes had cockroaches and other bugs on the walls in the tub. Stained carpet. Had room changed multiple times still had same issues. Hotel staff never apologized for inconvenience.
