7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: We have stayed at your location before and this time we were booked in an ADA room. I was really really upset that our bath tub was not as it was before. No other rooms were available but I was really looking forward to the tub in the rooms we had previously stayed in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic small hotel. It is right next to two of the best beaches on Kauai (one literally on either side of the hotel), has a lovely pool and a great restaurant and is much, much smaller than the mega-resorts like the Hyatt and Marriott.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and clean room
Cons: A bit overpriced
6.7 Good
Cons: Too expensive for the room we got. Will not return. Pricing for drinks was ridiculous. $20-23.00 for one drink. No wonder your bar was never busy compared to the Marriot
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was amazing! Good food, quiet surroundings, beautiful spaces!
Cons: Our room was supposed to have a partial ocean view, but the view was just of bushes.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: Cost of add ons. Pay a lot for a room but the have to pay for parking and food is ridiculous. Burger is $50 + ~20% tax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully maintained and appointed with every luxurious amenity desired this amazing boutique is a front runner for its mega chain neighbors. Equipped with a lovely pool and poolside bar with delicious offerings the wait staff completed the excellent waterside ambiance. When looking for the best of the best look no further than the Koa Kea
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Hot tub not hot enough. Very small bathroom sink counter. Would prefer self parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location on dry side of the island. very quite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location very much. The service was excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services were excellent and very clean.
Cons: The sandy beach area was very very small. They did not provide enough lounge chairs on the lawn and it filled up quickly, though there was more grassy space for lounge chairs. The mixed drinks served at the outdoor bar were horrible. At such a fine hotel, one would expect fresh ingredients rather than a packaged mix for the pina colada. Also, our room was located on the ground floor, near the entrance to the rooms and the entrance door slamming was very noisy and disruptive!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great beach very close to the property at the front. Easy to walk to a few places to eat and shops. Nice pool area and spa that was open late. Really clean rooms and lots of staff around.
Cons: We told them we were on honeymoon but we didn't get an special good wishes, even though we have had in previous hotels. Our room was meant to be a garden view but it was looking onto a public footpath to the beach so also didn't feel private. We had to ask to be moved, it improved but definitely isn't a 'garden' view. My husband broke his toe in the spa, there's hidden steps so be careful! the restaurant is quite expensive but the breakfast was nice. You had no choice but to do valet parking and then they tried to charge us a big cost per night which had not been mentioned previously.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Property convince to all like shopping, beach, pool, site visiting and the yoga offered with Teri was superlat
Cons: Better price, perhaps add breakfast in rate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and setting were unbeatable. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Whatever one might need for a beachside vacation was available. The decor was sophisticated and quietly elegant and the dining was superior. Would love to go back time and time again.
Cons: Entirely satisfactory! We liked everything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool, restaurant and location were amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful and great for families that want a kitchen to be able to cook. They have multiple pools with waterfalls, infinity pool and big, multiple jacuzzis.
Cons: Nothing. We loved everything and will definitely stay here again if we come to Kauai again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The guy checking us in was named Austin, he was a really nice person. The Hotel accidentally gave our room away because , we arrived one day late , due to delay of our flight. Austin took good care of us, felt sorry and gave us a voucher of 250 Dollar for the inconvience. First we felt very unhappy but Austin changed our mood and gave us the room we booked, to a even better rate. The pool is really great, nice rooms with all kitchen appliances which you need. The Grill facility at the pool to grill yourself is great option for families , to have dinner or lunch. The transport service to local shops for free is a great service too. Concierge was professional and organized us a helicopter flight, friends and fast.
Cons: The person named Princess at the Check In , was twice on two different days unfriendly and seemed a bit arrogant. The menu at the only restaurant at the pool is limited and food is o.k but not great. Prices at the SPA for a massage are far too high, a massage for 50 min equals 250Dollar, is a far too expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was gorgeous! The front desk staff was fantastic as soon as we arrived. The property is beautiful and close to everything.
Cons: I really liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious villas and friendly staff
6.0 Good
Cons: When guests arrive, things (appliances) should be in working order
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Koloa landing was pristine, clean, beautiful, and most importantly convenient in every way including the washer and dryer. Parking was also free and very close which is hard to find that the larger resorts. We also enjoyed the yoga and lei making class
Cons: It's hard to find something negative to say about this hotel. If there is anything it's that from the parking lot it was difficult to tell which building was ours. Although other buildings had signs so maybe the angle was just bad from the parking lot.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Beds were too soft. Good service was ok but bar service left lots to be desired.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Pools were fantastic, kitchen was well stocked and well used during our stay. Staff was friendly but not intrusive. Grounds were lovely, including a soccer field for our active teen.
Cons: Not truly beachfront — had to walk ~10 min to reach nearest beach.

For night we checked out two DVDs (no rental charge) and were given a free bag of microwave popcorn to enjoy with our films!

Pros: Paintings, welcoming staff, sweet potato pie breakfast, gardens
Cons: Close to road and was occasionally noisy
6.8 Good
Pros: We liked the location to the beach, and the value for the room. There are restaurants and shopping nearby.
Cons: It took a long time to get luke warm water for the shower, the rooms are small, but you can't beat the value of the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personable service of the staff and the location near a swimming beach and some good restaurants. The nice touch of having coffee, fruit, small snacks and candy treats throughout the day. They also have towels, beach chairs and other accessories for the beach available for no cost.Twice during the week the owner made a delicious sweet potato pie with fruit on top. If you're looking for a small boutique inn and not a major change give Garden Island Inn a serious look.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find but once we did the location was convenient to shopping, groceries, restaurants and getting to both parts of the island.

Pros: From the minute we stepped foot onto the property, to the restaurants we dined at, every staff member far exceeded customer service. The grounds were impeccable and impressive; clean, well manicured, friendly staff, 10 of 10 stars. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and memorable. Mahalo.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Easy to get to from the airport and access to loco businesses. Staff were great and friendly. Pool was nice to lie around and get a tan.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel - clean and cozy rooms. Great pool. Queen size sofa bed at no cost in the room for kids. We would stay there again. Parking cost included in resort fee - some hotels charge $30 per day for parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, enjoyed it very much, so close to the airport with excellent shuttle service
Cons: After checking we waited over an hour for luggage to be delivered to our room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved it. Gluten free options. Everything is fresh.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Not worth the price. Poor customer service.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Centrally located. Excellent facilities
Cons: The receptionist named Jennifer Lyn was discourteous, not hospitable and inconsiderate. My booking specified that I paid for a room for 4 adults but insisted that while booking.com indicated indeed that the room was for 4 adults, at Marriott’s end, it was only for 2 adults so I was asked to pay for 2 more extra adults. WiFi was supposed to be complimentary but again I paid for another $14.75.
7.5 Good
Pros: View from room Area Duke’s Pool
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay has been a five star experience largely due to Mike, at the check in desk. He did everything he could to accommodate us with such a great attitude and It just kept rolling from there. From that point on everyone we dealt with had that same great attitude and eagerness to provide exceptional service. The grounds are kept immaculate and hotel is modern and classy. This is going to be our regular getaway because of this experience. I will also be joining the Marriot Club!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and facilities were amazing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was amazing! Our room had beautiful ocean and pool views! It was so relaxing to fall asleep and wake to sound of the waves. All the staff was extremely nice!
Cons: The property was under construction on the pool/hot tub area. 2 of the five hot tubs were closed and under construction. There was loading drilling through out the day mon-fri which was a bit annoying. Also, they were doing work on the floor below us or unit next to us. We could hear loud drilling and construction during the day mon-fri. Also, very annoying and not very relaxing if you wanted to nap during the day. The hotel did offer to move us but we loved our room and the view was amazing on the 24th floor. We were not in our room during the day very often so we dealt with the noise. All in all our stay was great!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Was super quite and the convenient beautiful ocean walk
Cons: None
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: It was keep up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was awesome. The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.
7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet hotel, low key. The pool was perfect for just enjoying with family...wasn’t crowded! We had a partial ocean view and it was perfect for what we paid.
Cons: We had one day for cleaning service and they did a very poor, quick job. There was still sand in our tub, etc.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and facilities
Cons: Would NEVER book a tour through concierge, everything link to time share. I found out about link the day AFTER so called savings. The high pressure approach and tactics left a very bad feeling and despite being a great facility in a great spot, I would never come here again. The approach of the marketing totally ruined a trip of a lifetime.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Centralized part of the island
Cons: The unit was very dated. Old squeaky beds. No A/C in 2nd bedroom. Needs updated kitchen and baths
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The beds and room were very comfortable. Parking was convenient.
Cons: Food options and a deeper pool.
7.5 Good
Pros: the location was great, pool area and proximity to shipwreck beach. Comfortable well appointed rooms.
Cons: Arrival welcome person trying to sell us a timeshare tour.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice size and layout. Coutryardl let in a nice breeze. Rooms were a good size. Master bath was a good layout. Location was excellent and the grounds were impeccable, truly stunning. Front desk staff professional and friendly.
Cons: We kept getting contacted multiple times a day trying to pitch us to buy into a time share and to see how we were enjoying our stay. We repeatedly asked them not to call but they ignored that request. Probably the biggest complaint. Upgrade appliances.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, huge apartment style accommodations This is great for people with families - lots of room! The air conditioning was excellent and kept us cool at night as it was extremely hot the end of August
7.1 Good
Pros: Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious. The resort is tired. Our suite was clean, but bathrooms and kitchen are in need of renovation to bring them out of the 80s. Kitchen cupboards are well-worn and a bit grubby at door openers etc. The grounds are well maintained.
Cons: Really, The Point needs major update to keep it comparable to newer properties.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous view and the staff was really friendly. Love that the rooms had air conditioning but the living room opened into the lanai and you could leave the screen open.
Cons: The 10am check out time is really too early since most flights don’t leave until the evening. There were also insane speed bumps on the road in front of the property that you hit if you didn’t go less than 5 miles an hour.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: When we requesting housekeeping, all they did was put clean towels and empty trash. They didnt even sweep the bathroom floor. Kind of disappointing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was updated and clean. I liked that there were several restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as an ABC store and how close to the airport the hotel was.
Cons: The room I got had a Murphy bed which pulled out of the wall. I wouldn't choose that.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly!
Cons: Old resort and expectations were higher due to the price. I think places in Poipu and Princeville are much nicer.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: There was no room available for booked room type. Front desk was unwilling to accommodate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and they still looked after us very well.
Cons: I did not have cash when I arrived and the valet looked at me and was disappointed I did not have a chance to for him.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything beautiful facility
Cons: I love the property however when i booked the room was advertised as a ocean view villa. We received a two room suite with a partial view. About 75 percent of the view was of a gross green roof. This was false advertisement and we feel very deceived. I am not sure if this was bookings fault or Mariott’s fault but this was not a villa with an ocean view.
6.7 Good
Pros: Activities were good / beach / not crowded
Cons: Staff at check in were not overly helpful / had two reservations and wanted to stay in same room, but they would not let us b/c not same type - but they charged me quiet a bit ($300+) for the 2nd room , the hotel was not crowded at all, so I think they should have been more flexible.
6.7 Good
Pros: Amazing grounds with a magical botanical garden and koi pond, gigantic pool, a great view of the pool area and the sea. Nice kid's pool with a slide. Close to the shops and restaurants. Beachfront. Nice bar by the pool. Beautiful art gallery. Right next to the airport and handy to have the shuttle included. Golf next to the hotel. Big room, full-size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Handy to have self-service laundry facilities on several floors. Super comfortable beds and amazing linen. Nice decor. Lots of storage. Great customer service from Christina Medeiros at the Lobby and some of the Bell desk staff. Good business center. Great gym facilities, towel, water and fruit included. Housekeeping ladies were very nice. Day manager John was helpful when we had a problem in the apartment. BBQ facilities on site. Lots of places to relax within the grounds. Good choice of places to eat within the grounds or nearby. The TV in our room stated that check out was at 12 pm but night manager and lobby staff didn't want to honor that and even implied that I was lying about it. Genea Nish even asked me (through a staff member) to send her an email with the photo that I took stating this, which I did. Never got a reply or apologize for their mistake. Genea, who was the night manager, never even bothered to come out to the front desk to speak directly with me. Not only about the check out time but also about how they forgot to put the promised credit on my account. They had me waiting a long time at night, made me feel uncomfortable and like I was making things up until they decided to contact the day manager who confirmed that all I was saying was correct. Also, they have a sign at the lobby saying that you can earn points for every day that you don't utilize the housekeeping service.
Cons: We had an infestation of red ants during our 3 first days. They were everywhere in both connected rooms, they got inside every bag and you couldn't leave anything in the tables as they were getting on all our stuff. The ants were already there when we arrived and we let the housekeeping team know from the first day. A male staff member came and sprayed with a household insecticide for spiders/cockroaches which had a very strong smell. He said to wait until the next day to see what happens. The ants were still pretty much everywhere the next day. We went to speak with the day manager John who arranged for a pest control staff to come and for a deep clean to be done to the property the following day. John said that he was going to credit a certain amount to our account for the inconvenience. The pest control guy put some gel bait around both apartments which took until the following day to take effect but only in one of the apartments. Even after housekeeping did a deep clean there were still ants present in the kitchenette. Very inconvenient for us as we put a lot of value on the cleanliness of the places we stay. The disappointment was bigger because we had canceled a previous booking in another hotel nearby (which cost half of the price) because we read several bad reviews mentioning the presence of bugs in the rooms and the Marriott was the only hotel we found that apparently didn't have that problem. Value for money was very bad as we had exactly the problem we were trying to avoid and also all the bars and restaurants within the hotel were very expensive. Price of breakfast is extremely high. Customer service is not uniform, some staff members were nice but others were all the opposite. Genea Nishi (Night manager) and a couple of other members of the staff at the front desk that served me the night before we left when I tried to check out weren't helpful. I was expecting great service at this price range. No attention to detail.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything
Cons: 25.00 a day to PARK. The only thing that was absolutely ridiculous to me.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The facility was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal making it easy to visit both the North and South areas of the island.
Cons: We were in room 212 and found there was quite a bit of noise coming either from the beach or Dukes well past 10:00 PM. If we wanted to sleep with our door open so we could hear the ocean, we had to endure the noise. Also, the housekeeper showed up at our door like clockwork every morning at about 9:10 AM. We were either still sleeping or just barely getting moving. I would have hoped after we sent her away for 2 - 3 days in a row, she would have showed up later the 2nd half of the week, but she didn't. It was 9:10 AM every day for the five nights we were there. The only other issues was when we checked in the person at the concierge desk asked if we wanted valet. When I asked how much it cost, he told me $30/night. I told him we would self park as opposed to paying $30/night. It wasn't until we were checking out and questioning the charges that we were told self-parking was $25/night. I wish this would have been explained either by the concierge of the front desk when we checked in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect. On the beach and very picturet.
Cons: Bathroom was very small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We celebrated my son’s wedding at the Marriot and the staff were amazing!

6.7 Good
Pros: Overall good hotel complex with cool pools. At the beach which was a bit dirty. Entrance hall and property itself in good condition (contrary to the rooms). Restaurant food has good quality and moderate prices (contrary to the cocktails which were very average at a high price).
Cons: Staff was average. Room size small, really. Balcony tiny with old, dirty furniture. Beverage service at pool very slow. Parking available but relatively long walk. Bathrooms are small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else except breakfast was pretty much perfect .Loved the rooms, the service , the pool and access to the Beach.
Cons: Breakfast very ordinary with limited options
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, great pools and beach location.
Cons: We had a cigarette smoke smell coming from the air conditioning system. Didn’t appear that the pool slide was in operation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: definitely more than 3-star resort, well maintained / renovated, all facilities in place, nice landscaping, colonial-style touch, quality finish of rooms and most common spaces, no-frills yet good breakfast, nice bar / lounge area, free airport shuttle, helpful staff, good location to explore both south and north of Kauai
Cons: could benefit from a small shop on-site and better quality sun loungers by the pool
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and nice location. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. It is a beautiful resort though shows it’s aging signs. Well maintained and clean. A good place to resort. The pools are amazing to be with the family.
Cons: The restaurant located inside has very limited food options. Though the quality and taste is very good, it’s overpriced for what they serve.
6.7 Good
Pros: Free airport shuttle is a great service. Pools were lovely, nice breakfast.
Cons: Waterslide and sand pool were closed for repair which we were not aware of until we got there.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The hotel looks very old,and rooms are very poor,ac had bad smell, and we found cockroaches in the bathroom. No one offered us help with bags on arrival.

Pros: It was a paradise! The pools were amazing. We loved waking up to the crows of roosters and seeing all the chickens and chicks strolling the grounds in the mornings.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for our family with full kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. The rental we stayed in was nicely furnished. The only draw back was walking up 21 then another 17 steps. The AC units were louder than we expected and tempermental overnight -feeling hot to cold to hot. The washer/drier was a nice convenience if we stayed longer than two days but we didn’t need it. Luckily we had a car port parking spot so our van was in the shade because it was record high heat! Over all I would highly recommend staying here. Cheaper then most Hotels and with more space. Plus they don’t charge an extra days worth for “cleaning fees”! Thank you for having WiFi for the kids and sports cable Channel to watch the Dodgers game!
Cons: Check in/out was a bit late and then early (4pm in and 10 am out) - but I do understand the time needed to clean a house vs a small Hotel room. Maybe an hour longer pool hours during the summer months and weekends.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had stayed a week at a different resort. Hawaiian Airlines cancelled our return trip to the mainland and we needed another place to stay for one night. I found Banyon Harbor on the Internet and it had good reviews so I booked it. We were traveling with another couple, but decided to just book a one bedroom and one couple would sleep on the sofa sleeper. It was just one night. When we got to Banyon Harbor we were greeted with a nice surprise. We had been upgraded at no cost to a two bedroom. Very pleased with this as it was definitely more comfortable for the four of us. Thank you!
7.9 Good
Pros: We chose it because it was close to the airport and very reasonably priced. It is an older complex with individually owned condos. For this purpose It was just fine. Clean, well furnished and serviceable. I would not choose to stay here for a vacation, however. Slept well in extremely comfortable firm bed.
Cons: Hard to categorize as this was an overnight stay. We arrived late at night. Left early in the morning. No time to really look around, but it seemed to be old and a little dreary.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Old furniture, ac very loud in bedroom, dated condo. Needs fixing up for the price we paid, it is not worth it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great views, great location, great value. Easy to get to from airport, easy parking.
Cons: Unit is a little outdated. Some old stains on walls. Had to recrank power timer for a/c at night since it only goes max 6 hours without a manual reset. Great view but blinds in master bedroom seemed broken.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located from north and south
Cons: Little tight parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved every aspect. From checking in to checking out! Location was perfect. The condo was clean and with air condition. Pool could use a bit more cleaning.
Cons: No elevators so we had to get ground floor.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, close to the airport and easy to travel around Kauai. The apartment was nice.and clean.
Cons: There is room for improving the apartment as forniture and the rest is pretty old. No decent airco. The "orientation meeting" led by the manager and a bunch of people running tourist businesses on the Island is embarassing: almost 2 hours in-person advertising. A loss of time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We needed one extra night between timeshares. We were able to stay here, which is where our 2nd week is! The staff were so friendly and accmodating to our situation. We were able to stay in the “hotel” room until our timeshare room was ready. It was just a few doors away, and in the pouring rain, it made moving so much easier. It’s an older facility, but very clean and the location is awesome!
Cons: No elevators.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The couple of things that the specific room didn’t have the resort provided, i.e. waffle maker. We were able to borrow beach chairs, boards, floaty‘s. Staff was friendly, helpful. It is very good location across from a swimmable beach. There are good food trucks and a couple good restaurants very close by.
Cons: The only issue we had with this property is we were on the bottom floor and sometimes it was noisy from above.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean! Dated decor but everything you need for home base to travel around the island. Convenient to grocery, airport, beach and restaurants.
Cons: Check out was 10 am. Late check out was 11.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was spacious and just like the photos! Got the whole house set up and ready to go. Made use of the full kitchen and washer/dryer
Cons: Nothing!

With golden-sand beaches and misty sea breezes just footsteps away, you'll feel right at home at the Sheraton Kauai Resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was incredible. One of the top resorts in Kauai.
Cons: Liked it all. No improvement needed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I couldn't have been happier with my stay here. The hotel is right on the ocean and the water is relatively calm and very swimmable. All of the staff that I encountered were helpful and cheerful. I had breakfast three times at Lava, ordered three different things, and both the service and quality of the food were excellent. Also, the local shops and restaurants are an easy walk, only about half a mile - nice if you don't have a rental car, or if you want to enjoy a drink or two with dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
4.6 Okay
Pros: THE LOCATION WAS UNBEATABLE!! POIPU BEACH IS THE BEST. However, during our stay we found cockroaches. The management immediately responded and deep cleaned the room and sprayed but the next day we found more. Before the cockroach incident we wanted to extend our stay one day and they would only provide a room if we paid double the amount we originally paid for the ocean front hotel room. That was unacceptable to us and we did not stay an additional day due to the amount Sheraton wanted to charge and later the cockroaches found in the nearly $1000 a day room!!
Cons: Cockroaches in an expensive hotel room is unacceptable and where there is one cockroach there are ususaly thousands more. Another problem we had with Sheraton were the charges. They charged our credit card $2800 for the first night stay to reserve the room but it should have been $550. Once we arrived and checked in they again charged our credit card an additional $3500 and the next day they charged the credit card another $3500!! The charges combined caused our credit card to go over limit and when we were at dinner trying to reserve excursions on the island, our credit card was declined for both dinner and the adventures we were trying to schedule! Embarrassing to say the least. We called management (which takes time from our vacation to deal with, not to mention the stress!!). They corrected the amount and gave us complimentary dinner at Fire Rim which we were grateful for but the stress and aggravation we experienced was over the top. We scheduled our vacation to get away from the daily stress of life and enjoy/explore Kauai Island (which we did) but dealing with Sheraton regarding over charges and credit card issues PLUS the cockroaches took valuable and expensive time away from our family vacation on the Island of Kauai.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful shoreline! Nice sandy beach area for swimming. Overall great location. Restaurants were both very good. Pina colada’s were amazing !!
Cons: Really enjoyed everything about the property. Maybe I’ll find a negative the next time I stay there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. We had others in our party that were staying off property - without A/C - and they were miserable. We LOVED everything. Both restaurants on property were solid. Room was clean. Service was superb.
Cons: Parking was tough during the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were very well kept, the rooms were spacious and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was some updating going on & the poolside bar closed early several nights while we were there bc of an issue in the kitchen.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Gabrielle at concierge very helpful, Bartender at red fire very nice. Beach beautiful.
Cons: Found a huge roach on our pillow after a long your day. Management begrudgingly changed our room and offered us a room charge credit, Pool need a major overhaul cloudy water and mold in filtration. All restaurants close by 9:00.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location and room selection
Cons: resort fee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property right on the water with stunning ocean views, great staff, just excellent. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was right on the beach
Cons: No
7.9 Good
Pros: RumFire restaurant was great.
Cons: The beach is a bit 'Wavey' if that is a word. Hard for newbie snorklers to learn, but not a fault of Sheraton. Poipu beach nearby has a little area to learn, but its not very big. It would also be nice if Sheraton had Villas with kitchenettes in this location. That would be the Bomb, but they don't :(

7.5 Good
Pros: The accommodation is within an easy walk of shops and restaurants, you would need a car to explore. Nice big bathroom and comfortable bed. Good Breakfast. Everything you could think of was provided, including several sun tan lotions and some nibbles.
Cons: The lady who served Breakfast was very business like. When we asked for more coffee so gave us a pot left by another couple and only two tiny milk, nowhere near enough, she was very brisk, not particularly friendly. The owners who said they were looking forward to meeting us - we never saw! The room was not very large, just enough space to walk around the bed, difficult to know what to do with two large suitcases. Bathroom blinds didn't provide much privacy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Nice common areas. Liked that they had snorkel and beach equipment to use for free. A great value.
Cons: Could have had something other than eggs for breakfast everyday. We stayed about five days and it was eggs every morning. Would have liked to mix in a choice of pancakes/French toast... something other than eggs. :-) They did have wonder fresh fruit!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The home was charming and comfortable. There was towels and beach equipment available for use. The kitchen was available for use and communication with owners was never more than a text away. We enjoyed the breakfast. Very accessible to beach, restaurant and shopping
Cons: It is on a busy road and the road noises are loud.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and lovely. An easy check in and fast wi-fi. Would stay again
5.4 Okay
Cons: It was SO loud at night. There aren’t windows you can close and it is right next to a noisy road, you can hear the roosters all night long, and they turned the sprinklers on at 4:30 am
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy room, beautifully decorated, tropical foliage, excellent breakfast...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Incredible breakfast and location near to Poipu beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The walkway led along the ocean and you can watch turtles. There’s a big shopping center across the street also. Breakfast on the lanai was perfect
Cons: Parking was filled after 10 and we parked along the building.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Charming building Good breakfast
Cons: Hot tub broken but worst thing is noise in two front rooms. Busy street Roosters crowing middle of night to early morning loud heavy traffic and garbage trucks Suggest owners provide ear plugs Musty smell in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A little rustic and beautiful! Great grounds. Found a beach just 5 minutes walk away! Shopping was around the corner. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good- dined on the front porch (best spot).
Cons: I have no complaints.

6.7 Good
Pros: The grounds and gardens. The style of the condominiums. The total layout of the condos.
Cons: The cleaning cost which should be included in the price as it was. Expensive to stay there. No laundry in condos and with limited mobility it was a good walk to the laundry. Transport from reception to condos is necessary having to lug case up and around was difficult. Getting to the pool was some distance too need one on site
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great property and location. The beach was close with great services.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved how spacious the unit was, and how central it is to everything in the Poipu area. My daughters loved the beach as well.
Cons: I didn’t like that the pool was not onsite at the resort. Also, the coffee pot and hairdryer were broken. Other than that, I would recommend it.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful oceanfront property with great landscaping. Plantation style villas with one or two bedrooms provide the basic amenities. Great for families or groups.
Cons: Units seem old and a bit neglected. Definitely could use some updates. The amenities provided were pretty basic (not to mention the hairdryer from the past century). Service provided is pretty minimum. You're pretty much on your own. There were some disruptive guests and some weird activity at night (somebody screaming in the middle of the night). Felt a bit unsafe to walk around after dark. Overall, didn't seem worth the price or the hype.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a 1br King condo that was near the road (cheaper) but had an amazing view of the walkthrough gardens. 5 min walk to the beach, they provided towels/chairs and our unit had a couple of body/boogie boards to use. We made A LOT of use of the provided equipment as well as the complementary access to the Poipu Beach Club which has a pool, hot tub, bar/grill, fitness equipment and such. Easy walking access to shops and restaurants (HIGHLY recommend Keoki’s Paradise restaurant).
Cons: No air conditioning but the condo was well “vented” for natural airflow. Constant construction happening in the area and started at 7a EVERY weekday. Traffic through Kapa’a (which has NOTHING to do with the resort, you’ll need to KNOW about the horrible traffic if you’re traveling to the North Shore - Princeville/Hanalei area).
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: They charge to much and they don't come and clean for the time you stay there
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The condos style accommodation and the care taken with the grounds made this such a pleasant place to stay.
Cons: No aircon in the apartments. Though there was fans in both living and bedroom areas the afternoon sun on the rooms made them very hot. It would have been nice just to cool the place down for sleeping.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view. The location. The whole property.
Cons: No air conditioning. ( seems important to include this)Scuba gear was included but we didn’t know, so we carried all that with us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything.
Cons: The apartments are in dire need of air conditioning
7.9 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy. Our toddler loved the pool. Gardens were amazing.
Cons: Carpet was a little dirty. No air conditioning!

Pros: Location and gardens
Cons: You pay a cleaning fee and in fact there is no service to clean your room during your stay.

Pros: Beautiful, clean resort. Amazing location and the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Pros: The room was large and exceptionally clean. Enjoyed the private verandah off our room with beautiful plantings creating privacy. Lovely pool area and continental breakfast. Staff were very attentive and because our room was ready, they were kind enough to let us in much earlier. They have SPECIAL SPECIAL rates for all of Kauau's activities. You'll enjoy this boutique hotel. We'll certainly be back.
Cons: Towels for pool were too small and worn. Fluffy towels are good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very unique, quaint hotel. Clean room, very friendly staff. It was nice that there were washers/dryers on site for laundry
Cons: Slightly off the beaten path, if you care about that (I don't). A/C unit was very loud. I had to shut it off, because it kept waking me up
6.8 Good
Pros: Room was nicely appointed with comfortable bed. Parking was very convenient and the young man who checked us in was very nice.
Cons: AC was so loud that it was impossible to get a good night sleep, even the neighbors AC could be heard in our room. A little better cleaning wouldn't hurt either. My wife dropped an earring and found quite a bit of dust and a sock under the bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean.
Cons: Decor was dated and rooms are showing their age, but everything was in working order.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Low key relaxed setting in lush gardens. This old style Kauai hotel has air conditioning, large flat screen TV, good shower, local pets to entertain you, continental breakfast and very accommodating staff. We stayed for one night but could have stayed longer.

Pros: Beautiful, quiet surroundings, friendly staff.
Cons: Need a car to get places
6.6 Good
Pros: Mid point from all the attractions.
Cons: Outdated decor and roosters crowing at all times of day. The coffee and complimentary breakfast/snacks weren't on time at the stated 7:30am

Cons: they have bed bugs. bitten over 50 times in hotel over 2-week period.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool area very nice and convenient. Room was very clean.
Cons: I prefer air conditioning. There was one room air conditioner in the master bedroom but we were using both. We did request a second unit that was immediately attended to. Temperature and humidity was high. Second bedroom is small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Old
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really big and comfy apartment with all facilities included. Very very nice! Short walking distance to the nice beach.
Cons: As all of Kauai, very expansive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large, clean and close to beach
Cons: No air conditioning!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was very good. Very clean and quiet.
Cons: Luckily there was an extra air condition in the bedroom, without it, it would have been very uncomfortable. I realize that ACs are not necessarily a standard equipment in Hawaii, for this price I expected it though.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Walking distance to the beach and close to restaurants. Large condo
Cons: We choice this condo mainly because of A/C but it was fake, only It has available a portable A/C in the living room, far away to be enough, it was impossible to get to sleep. The refrigerator was leaking two days not working properly making impossible to use it. We lose a lot of food. Very old fashion decoration including family owner personal stuff like wedding pictures. Uncomfortable beds. Tiny pool. The pictures do not match with the condo
7.9 Good
Pros: The location of the condo my family and I placed us near a neatly maintained lawn with a view of the mountainside and swaying palm trees. It was a short walk, about five minutes, to the gated pool area. Parking lot was conveniently located with a ramp walkway to make it easier than taking stairs. The unit had two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. Each room had ceiling fans, closet space, lamps for light. The bathrooms were spacious and had space to accommodate everyone's things. The dining area was next to a sitting/tv area and sliding glass door which opened to a lanai with outdoor seating and chaise loungers. The winds can be strong but provide enough cooling relief from the humidity. The kitchen was spacious and it was easy to cook meals and do the dishes.
Cons: The window coverings: blinds and draperies, should be functional and easier to maneuver to create a better air flow through the rooms. Even a slight breeze would make the vinyl blinds bang against the window frame, sometimes all through the night. Only one room had an A/C unit, it should be in both rooms and should be updated to better A/C tech.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the surrounding grounds fantastic. The beech was a short walk, the grounds were pleasant and the whole area was beautiful. We had a great time there. We arrived early and while early check-in wasn't possible, the staff was really friendly and helpful -- supplying beech towels and storing our food that needed to be refrigerated.
Cons: The unit was a bit flawed. The carpets are very worn and the supplied kitchen supplies minimal.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Spotty wifi, no AC and very hot, DVD checkout system provided broken video.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The condo was well appointed, roomy, and the AC was very much welcomed. The location was good with a short walk to the Poipu beach and Kalapaki Joes. We appreciated the beach chairs. The insuite laundry came in handy to dry pool towels and to wash clothes before we came home. The large double sink bathroom with separate water closet and shower room made sharing a bathroom much easier when traveling with 4.
Cons: Unfortunately the pull out couch in the living room was broken and not suitable for adults or older children to sleep on. We had to pull the mattress off and put it on the floor. The AC only cooled the bedroom and the portable fan only worked on low speed so not only was sleeping on the floor uncomfortable but it was also very warm to sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel had a good location and near the beach. Had a nice kitchen and traveler experienced like real life of Hawaiian.
Cons: My room didn't equipped a air-conditional. Staff did not very fast visit for my call.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was amazing. Super big for the money. Super close to beach as well!
Cons: The main staff member at the front was extremely rude to us.

Pros: The rooms and grounds were surprisingly clean and well kept for as old as the property is. It was very close to the airport, which we wanted.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable, I was glad we only used the room as a cleanup spot before our redeye flight. The parking was kinda tight as well, but it was very clean and super close to the airport so it worked out well for us.
7.5 Good
Pros: Central location. Room was comfy enough for expectations.
Cons: The A/C was loud as it is a window unit for a small room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location ...Very closed to airport.
Cons: I found a cockroach in the room early morning and informed the stuff. Seem like is not her duty time and didn't pay attention and just say "I will let them know". Didn't take action immediately and apologize to us. Jut like it's normal thing to her. Bad!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly; the hotel offers water and free coffee in the mornings. And there is a microwave you can use. The rooms are small but comfortable, and also quiet so you have a good rest. Lihue is a perfect location if you want to see the south, west and also the north of Kauai.
Cons: Maybe the room was a bit small and there was no real space to leave the suitcases. But all in all, nothing negative to say.

Pros: Conveniently located in the heart of Lihue. Close to airport, car rental facilities, Walmart is a quick 5 minute walk, like just down the road. Shops and restaurants conveniently located, including its own restaurant and bakery located downstairs.
Cons: Where our room was located, room 208, there was no curtain or blinds to block out the light shining in the hallway. Had to find a good spot to hide from the light while sleeping.
